13 Suspicious

Inside the central hospital, Doctor Melisa Wong led the deputy of the Cadickus court forces to the autopsy room. Three men from the human race and a woman from fay kinds, a peahen with green eyes and white pale skin she was.

"Cadick Collinaze, you should see this!" She pointed out the marks and continued, "The skin got dry and crunchy that was why we barely could realize what they are."

"These are straight cuts from juggler's card. The being that absorbed the whole organs then stole the heart. It can't be a vampire because they just intake the blood and won't make the body dry like this. We are facing something else."

She explained. Cadickus Collinaze bent on the werewolf to take a better view with the lens in his hand and then walked to the vampire body. The marks on their chests were the same as if words of summoning! It rang something in his head.

"Sacrificing!" He muttered.

"Could it be from underworld forces?" Hai Zhao, the supervisor asked.

The Cadickus forces turned their faces to the young man.

"I know it is strange but they are still strolling among us and might have tried to feed and boost their lives." He added. This man was smart and guessed right but not entirely hit the point because regular folks had no idea what was going on behind the scene. It was their duty to keep the information safe.

Mr. Collinaze took out an army device from his coat and pressed a button, an 3D image slipped out. It was the leader of hunters.

"You must look for a magician juggler! Not a normal one!"

"Leave it to us." The hunter stated and the connection hung up swiftly. A curve of perturbing appeared on his face.

"Please wash the words here in this room. No one should hear about this." The Cadickus clearly warned the doctor and her assistant.

"Be sure about us." She said.

The Cadickus emissaries left the hospital from the secret way where no general folk could see them or we're allowed to cross it.

Hai heaved a breath out, "How the atmosphere around the king's men is so heavy?"

"Because they look tough and strict!" It seemed that she felt the heavy air lingering around and even the dead ones looked more cringe.

There was another sense around them that she couldn't stop to scorn, Trouble.

The hunters were done and appeared from the scene as the car moved away. This case was fresh and enough hazardous that they couldn't dismiss and permit the boys to leave simply. Mainly now that one of them had a juggler's golden card.

Even the hearsays throughout the Vita couldn't be ignored from now on. If Lashuka found another way to come back, then beseeching to gods would no longer benefit them simply get rid of it.

One of the Aligners handed Delun a coat but his expression was saying that he couldn't be sure about the size.

"Thanks, man." Delun keenly let out the words and snatched the gray coat.

"No problem. Are you fine?" He peeked at his chest and those deep scratches.

"Yes, but I hardly can endure them! They burn like hell!" Delun said that from the bottom of his heart, after wore the coat that glued to his body he sat and added, "The worst part is that they are itching so damn overwhelming and I can't even lift my fingers along with them."

"Sorry man! But is that true?" He asked curiously.

"What? It seems the news flew faster than those badass hunters." Bo growled, he was yet furious that they had taken his Queen card.

"The juggler who was summoning his dark lord! He had taken two victims until now! Or it could be more!" The Aligner said, from the green crescent moon badge on his sleeve edge, it was saying that he was a third-grade Aligner. Certainly, it was his first mission.

"We have to stay mute about this matter Elan!" Another Aligner said and dragged the window away to let him see his frown.

That was the famous Aligner's commander, Qiu Chen! A werewolf-fay man with a scar on his face. He had a decent beard face that forced everyone to offer him respect.

"Yes, sir! No more prying!" Elan clamored, his head was down and didn't dare to look up at his warlord.

Bo crouched on his knees as he felt a sharp pain in his chest; his body was getting cold and he just realized what had happened. The time of having the diamond on his chest was short and it couldn't heal his inward organs. The strokes that he received from that vampire were strong and surely broke a few of his ribs. He couldn't move nimbly or dodge those fast moves of that vicious being.

Could it be the person who killed his father? Why was he motionless all this time? He began to cough and caught the commander's attention.

"Elan check his lungs! He might have a serious condition." He ordered.

Elan nodded and opened the box beside his seat, brought out a device; it was a scanner that could take an emergency scan from his lungs and bones.

"Take off your uniform!" He asked.

"I am fine!" It was the last thing he wanted to do.

"Do what he asks or I will fix you!" The commander menaced, his yellow eyes sparkled wickedly, saying that he liked to break the rest of his ribs for disobeying the order.

Bo unzipped the back of his uniform, meanwhile, let out a groan! Even stretching his arms went harder than he expected! He took off the white sleeved high-neck and saw the huge bruise on his chest.

"Oh, man! Was it a stone punch?" Delun blurted.

"No, a crazy guy did it."

"Stay straight!" Elan warned and he straightened his shoulder.

The scanner revealed a blue ray that moved from up to down. The picture of his chest and inward organs began to shape on the device screen. The lungs report were in a normal situation but four of the ribs near his heart had cracks! One more hit could kill the boy without his Diamond.

Now, he was wounded, and besides that, his identity as a shadow Aligner was on the point.

"Good! You can die another day!" The commander stated.

Delun cursed him under breath. The way he was talking to Bo was unbearable and if it wasn't for his own condition he would fix back this proud wolf. To maintain their own position they were ignoring who Bo was and he disliked that indulge. He bared his teeth and hissed.

Elan gathered his stuff and said, "The Weaver of Immortality court can fix it for you! Bear the pain until we arrive there."

Bo knew that matter so it wasn't a huge worry, glanced out at the city that was stretching alongside with their move, and the colors were mixed. He couldn't recoil back from the raider thought in his brain.

He missed the match for a matter of a cause but he left with an empty hand at the end! Delun was yet in danger as the marks were on his chest and the ring devoured his blood.

He utterly ignored that the juggler threatened him but couldn't understand why the dark lord might be after him. Now, in his perspective everything was suspicious.

Their pace increased as they exited the Feral sect. The commander set the alert on the car's roof to announce they were in an emergency!

*

Back to Feral Zone, people didn't allow TECO to take Bo's car. A man approached the TECO messenger.

"The driver who saved that boy can come and take his car. Let it be here or you have to taste our welcome." The man menaced.

The messenger had no intention of making trouble so nodded and headed back to the car that brought him.

"Edward, take the car in your garage and check it." A girl beside him said.

"They think we are stupid! The feral zone won't take easy on the mayor this time!"

He got into the car and drove to his garage across the street. People scattered and Jack who was among the folk, witnessing everything headed back to meet Maria.

The Feral people got a chance to take the advantage of this occurrence and force the mayor to have revision on this part of the city instead of ignorance.
