4 Chapter 3
A few weeks has come after Wei Lan's new resolve, today she was wearing a beautiful green hanfu with a gold sash, she was wearing quite a fancy outfit since she was going to visit the Crown Prince in the his mansion.
Last night, Wei Lan has received a letter from the Crown Prince that stated that he wishes to see her. He gave Wei Lan an invitation to go to his mansion the next day, Wei Lan at first wanted to not visit the Crown Prince, but remembering her third brother plan, she saw this as an opportunity to tell the Crown Prince that she was seeing someone.
Wei Lan rode a horse carriage to the Crown Prince Mansion. The whole ride, her head was in the clouds, thinking how will the crown prince react after she told him she has a lover.

"Princess Lan, has arrived!"
A servant announcing Wei Lan arrival upon the crown prince mansion gates. A young women got off a horse carriage with the help of her servants.
A young stunning gorgeous handsome man with a purple gold embroidered hanfu and golden sash came out of the gate to personally escort the guest of his mansion.
The crown prince was starting intently at Wei Lan.
"I'm very glad that you decided to visit my mansion, Wei Lan. I know we could fix our little misunderstanding..."
The crown prince said as he gave Wei Lan a bow and lead her to the cherry blossom garden at his mansion.

In the cherry blossom garden two chairs and a table came into view as Wei Lan came closer to the center of the garden.
The servants following Wei Lan and the crown prince pulled the two chairs, the crown prince sat on the chair and gestured Wei Lan to sit.
The crown prince whispered to his personal servant to serve the most fine chrysanthemum tea they have in his mansion. His personal servant did a little bow before leaving with the other servants to serve the tea.
"So, Wei Lan, you must have heard the news, I'm very glad you took the wise choice to accept my engagement offer, I had to beg father emperor and mother empress for you to be given the titles. Now, you are very suited to be my princess. I'm very happy Wei Lan"
The crown prince said while flashing his devilish slay grin at Wei Lan. Wei Lan could only shiver at the thought of marrying the crown prince.
"Your royal highness, The crown prince of Sunwang Empire, this humble princess is afraid that she might have break the crown prince current mood"
Wei Lan said in respond to the crown prince speech. The crown prince slay smile completely disappeared from his face. His face was replaced by a serious one.
The previous servant who left earlier to fetch the crown prince and Wei Lan tea has now returned with the other servants. A sweet and delicious fragrance entered Wei Lan nose. Her eyes went to the beautiful tea set held by the crown prince servant. The servant carefully placed the tea set on the table between Wei Lan and the crown prince.
The crown prince slay smile returned, he picked up the tea kettle and poured the tea to the tea cups placed by the servants, filling the cups, the servant face went pale since serving tea was strictly their job, not the crown prince's.
The crown prince noticed the change in the servant face, he smiled and said to the servant to not worry, he was serving for his future wife after all. Wei Lan face turned disgust hearing the crown prince say that. The crown smiles at Wei Lan as he slide a filled tea cup in front of her. Wei Lan stared at the cup in front of her. The fragrance smell was intoxicating, it was very tempting to not try the tea.
Wei Lan gulped before letting out a word
"Crown prince, I..."
"Shush, Wei Lan let us have a toast first to celebrate our engagement!"
Wei Lan was about to say something but it was cut off by the crown prince. The crown prince held his tea cup and raised his hand, waiting for Wei Lan to do the same.
Wei Lan stared at the crown prince eyes and stayed silent.
The crown prince hand was slammed down to the table, making the tea set placed on the table shake. His eyes was angry, he stared at Wei Lan before gesturing the servants to leave. Wei Lan personal servants was also gestured to leave.
Xiao Er and Xiao Li looked at their master with a worried face, they didn't want to leave their master alone with the crown prince. The crown prince was glaring at them. Wei Lan looked at her servants and gave them an assuring look and a nod. Xiao Er and Xiao Li were hesitant but they left as soon as Wei Lan gave them the signal.
The crown prince glared at Wei Lan once more before he said
"Wei Lan, Have you not forgiven me? Have you forgotten the lovely days we spend together?"
The crown prince tone was of that trying to sound nice. Wei Lan sighs and stood up.
"Feng-gege, how could I forget the lovely days we spent together especially the day where you lied to me"
Wei Lan made made an impact on the crown prince after her words.
"Wei Lan, that's already in the past, think about it, you are the only women suited to be my princess and the only one who can capture my heart, we were deeply in love
weren't we? why are you making such a big deal after finding out that I'm the crown prince!?"
Wei Lan head was a little light-headed after hearing the crown prince words.
"Well, Feng-gege, you already knew from the start even before our relationship that I didn't want to get engaged at an early age! Especially to a member of the imperial palace! You knew I made an oath to myself to never marry a member of the imperial palace! And yet, you forced my hand in this engagement which was heavily against my oath. You also lied to me this whole time, you lied about your identity, you lied about waiting until I was ready to marry, you lied to me about your love"
Wei Lan couldn't hold it anymore, tears was starting fall down from her eyes. She thought that she had changed, last week she already already said that she will never love this men again, but it still hurts.
"Wei Lan, I.."
The crown prince gritted his teeth, seeing Wei Lan crying, he came closer to her to comfort her.
"Don't you dare touch me, you liar, if you really love me, you wouldn't force my hand in this engagement, it's over, our relationship as lovers is over, don't you dare ruin my life again"
Wei Lan said as she wipes her tears away. The crown prince cannot accept this. He forcefully grabbed Wei Lan hand and pinned her against a pillar.
"I, the crown prince, love you! I will not break the engagement! You are the only one for me! You will never get away from me! You are mine! I'll break your hands and feet if you get away from me!"
Wei Lan wrist was hurting being held with such force. She kicked the crown prince in his private area and ran, Xiao Er and Xiao Li was near the area as they saw their master running. They quickly followed their master and prepare the carriage.
Wei Lan jumped in the carriage and ordered the coachmen to go.
Xiao Er and Xiao Li was both wondering, why were their master running from the crown prince? Wasn't she engaged to him? Why was their master running with puffy eyes and a scared expression?
What happened to their master while there were told to leave?
