"Kwon Hoshi! When will you grow up?!"

Here we go again. This always happens almost every day. My mom scolding me as soon as I stepped foot in our house. Now, let's hear her long sermon.

"Have you seen this?! Your name is trending on the internet!"

I sat on the comfortable sofa without taking off my socks. Mom threw me the tablet which was currently playing my video, making out with someone I don't know. Ah, I remember this. It was from last night's party.

"Look at that mom, almost one million views. I'm very popular."

My mom threw me a murderous look. I was still watching the video of me and the girl, I still don't remember the name, making out. I laughed at the last part because I threw up in her mouth while we're kissing. I really drank too much that night. I burst out laughing when I saw that I drenched her skimpy dress with my vomit.

Mom snatched the tablet from my hands and I dramatically wiped my eyes as if I'm tearing up.

"Is it that funny? Did you have fun humiliating our family's name again Kwon Hoshi?! You've done this a thousand times and still didn't learn. Do you really want to ruin our reputation? Because if you do, do it on yourself only and don't include us."

I positioned my elbows on my knees as if really listening to her while I was really planning on how to get out again and drive. I was put back to reality when she mentioned my car.

"What about my car?" I asked her which made her look angry even more.

"You aren't listening again. You will be grounded from using your car for two months."

"WHAT?! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO ME! YOU KNOW I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY CAR!" I literally screamed at her and I saw my younger brother peeking on the stairs. I really don't want him seeing me like this and I don't want him to follow my tracks being a very disrespectful son.

"Yes I can do that Kwon Hoshi and your credit card will be frozen." She said calmly and walked towards her room. She didn't take my keys yet so I got them and got out of the house. I went to the garage and started the car. I drove out of the house and did not mind the angry look on my mother's face.

I really don't know where I'm going. I just drove out of our very exclusive subdivision and went to the nearest store that stays open twenty-four hours. I stopped my sports car just outside of the store and took out my keys. I went inside to buy some Coke and immediately found one at the counter. Hwitaek, mostly known as Hui by many, is on duty today.

"Hey man," he said. "Saw your video today. It was gross. That girl is so unlucky." He laughed. I took the Coke and opened it. I gave him the pay and told him to keep the change. When I turned around, I saw a cute girl sulking.

"Hey cutie, you would look prettier if you erase that scowl on your face and change it to a smile." She scowled even more.

"Hui! Why did you give him my Coke? It's the only one left." She went to the counter without tearing her eyes off me. She seems really cute and sexy wearing those sweatpants.

"What the hell are you looking at?" She snapped.

"I'm Hoshi." I offered my hand but she just stared at it so I took it back.

"I know you. You're on every social media sites making out with a random girl and puking in her mouth. You're gross." She rolled her eyes which made her look very much appealing to me even more. She bought ten cans of beer and five bottles of soju. Wait? Is she a drunkaholic? Damn, she's actually my type.

"Stop staring you jerk. I'm not the one drinking this." She said as if she read my mind. I threw the now empty can of Coke at the bin. I watched as she walked out of the store and into the cold night. I leaned on the counter as she disappeared from the corner.

"What's her name?" Hui shook his head when I said those.

"Ryen. And don't mess with her." He answered as he stacked cigarettes on the rack.

"Why? It's not like we'll bump on each other again." I defended myself and turned to the cooler which contained the beers. I took five cans and put them on the counter. Hui totaled them.

"She's a strong girl. She lives with a drunkaholic stepmom with a drunkaholic lover too. Her father works abroad." He said.

I stayed silent as I gave him five bucks and walked out of the store. I waved him goodbye when I entered my car. He just nodded. I turned on my speakers and played songs by SHINEE. I'm a big fan of that group. I went back to our subdivision and went to my favorite place which is the farthest place in it. It is an abandoned house far away from the others with a rooftop which I use to hang out when I want to be alone. I brought the beer with me and walked there.

The sky is calm but no stars showed up. The moon is alone again as well as me. I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight as I entered the house and went upstairs. I went to my usual spot and laid there.

Today is a long night. I'm going to stay here for the rest of the night and forget my parents for a while.

I came back seeing my stepmom and her lover on the couch watching some lame comedy show. I gave them the beer and soju I bought. They stayed there laughing as I frowned at the lame joke. I walked to my room and stopped at the end of the stairs when the phone rang.

I immediately picked it up and answered my dad.

"Hey, Dad," I said. My stepmom motioned her fingers to her ears which tells me that she is listening to me. She shut her lover so she can listen to me and my dad's conversation.

"Hey, my beauty. How's your day?" He asked in a tired tone. I know he is tired from work and I can't help but worry about him.

"Nothing big. Still, the same as it was all the time." I answered him.

"Where's your mom?" I wanted to answer him that my real mother is currently resting in peace in heaven, (bless her soul). And I am itching to tell him to come home and see his new wife cheating on him with a guy who doesn't even have work and is a very drunkaholic man. But I set aside those thoughts as my stepmom eyed me real hard. I sighed as I collected thoughts for the lies I have to tell him. I hated lying to my dad. He always taught me to be honest when I was young.

"She's doing great. She's currently in the bathroom getting ready to sleep." Yeah, getting ready to sleep with his boyfriend.

"Bummer, I really wanted to talk to her. Anyway, you're going to college next month right. Did you already enroll?"

"I did and I also got a scholarship which is great because it covers up most of my finances and also the books except miscellaneous."

"That's great. By the way, can your allowance make it at the end of the month?"

"I--uhh, bought things for uhh, school." I lied.

"I will send you money tomorrow so that your money can last until the end of the month." He said.

"No dad, please, you don't really have to. I will just save my money so you don't have to send more." I saw that my stepmom's face angered so I said yes to my dad's offer. He said goodbye after a few more questions and we exchanged I love you's before I hung up the call. My stepmom came to me and put her hands on her hips.

"You'll give me half of the money tomorrow." She plainly said and she went back to sit on the lap of his new boyfriend. She was facing him as she rocked her hips on the man. They moved upstairs and didn't even bother to turn the television off. I was the one who did it and went to my room which is next to theirs. I can already hear moans as soon as I entered my room due to the thin wall between our rooms. I tried to sleep with the noise coming from the other side. Today has been a long day. I have to sleep and find a part-time job tomorrow.
