CHAPTER 35

A/N - I'm changing my tenses to past tense, I've noticed that present tense doesn't really work out so enjoy the book guys...

Kor El placed his hand on the door, as if he was feeling the heartbeat of the door. He looked at me and mouthed "Stay here" like hell I would, then he spun in a circle and vanished, yeah just like that, he vanished before my very own eyes, I believe my mouth could've caught a handful of flies by now. Can I ever get used to the fact that these brothers weren't human? I mean why is the human species different, why do aliens always seem to have the upper hand, normal humans can't just vanish into thin air, unless they are magicians.

I don't know why but I stayed where I was told to after a while, I could sense someone around but I could not see the person, I shifted my weight from feet to feet just to try and ease my tension but it certainly didn't help, I then rushed to my room, pulled out my key card and opened, entered the room and shut the door, my back to it.

I slowly slid down the door

"I told you to stay there." Kor El's voice boomed from across the room, my room.

"Huh? Is this Kyle's room? Why are you in here?" I asked and he chuckled

"I doubted you would ask such stupid questions but as I can see, I have no reason to doubt your stupidity."

"I am not stupid you retarded bulldog, by the way what did you find out from your search for Kae El? Huh?" I asked in a mocking tone

"Apart from the fact that he's a cheater and a betrayer?" He asked and my eyebrows rose up

"What do you mean cheater, Kyle isn't even in his room?" I asked as I stood up from the floor and made move to open the door, but within the blink of the eye, Kor El was already before me

"Oh you think so?" He said

but I made my move and threw the door open, heading straight for Kyle's room but I immediately stopped,my hand just a few inches from the door handle.

"I'm partly sure you don't want to hurt yourself pretty." Kor El appeared beside me "And if you go in there, you'll be hurting yourself for sure. Anyways your choice but I have no idea why the both of you keep on ruining my perfect plan." He said and rested his back on the wall, then almost immediately, I gained control over my body again

"I hate when you do that." I said and he chuckled

"Oh so now I am beginning to rub off on you." He smirked

"No retard! I hate you as a whole." I said and the idiot chuckled again as if I was trying to be funny

I slowly pushed the handle and opened the door to Kyle's room and trust me when I say I was truly shocked at the sight I beheld.

"I told you I've always been the good one here, oh wait did I tell you? I guess not!" Kor El harshly whispered in my ear and I slowly shut the door back thankfully, no one had noticed me.

My mind still in shock of what I saw, I slowly made my way back to my room, shut the door, and brought my knees to my chest, I felt a tear fall from my left eye, and then the right eye, two second later, my face was flooding with tears. I rested my head on my knees as I sobbed harder.

I felt a chilling hand on my neck, then the hand went to my hair, the person stroked my hair in a comforting way.

"There there, it's okay no need to cry, remember I told you it was your choice, and apparently... You made the right choice. Now all you have to do is overcome your pains. Simple as that, and I'm talking from experience." Kor El voiced out as he tried comforting me

"You see, I'm not good at this comforting stuff I'm doing here, but I just feel like you need a crying shoulder, before you do something stupid, for example suicide." He said again

I felt the door softly vibrate and I looked up to see Kor El sitting down on the floor with me, he smiled lazily and side hugged me, I don't know why but I felt comfortable being in his arms this moment. The dangerous man that almost broke my ankle was comforting me.

"You do know I heard that right? And that makes me wanna leave you now." He said and I blinked

"Heard what?" I asked, had he heard my thoughts?

"What you were thinking dummy." He said and I mentally face palmed, kill me, how did I even get involved with this inhuman family?

"Careful what you wish for pretty, and yeah I know I'm kinda inhuman but it still seems like an insult." He replied my thoughts again

"Can you please stop doing that?" I asked

"Doing what?" He smirked

"Reading my thoughts!" I said and he smiled

"I'm not, I just happen to hear them like you're talking to me, so in other words, no I can't stop that." I shook my head and wiped my tears

He stood up and brought out his hand to help me up, I just swatted the hand away and stood up by myself.

"Ouch pretty that hurt my feelings." He said and put his hand on his chest.

"Like you even have feelings." I muttered

"Oh I do." He countered

"Whatever." I muttered again and continued "what did you mean by saying you've always been the good one here?" I asked and for a moment I think I saw his eyes glint with jealousy.

"Well I meant it as the the truth." He replied and sat on my bed "The good one that strives to get whatever he wants but at the end, he still doesn't." He said and I was shocked, did the oh so great and mighty Kor El just say that he doesn't get whatever he wants? Oh great seems like an Apocalypse is near by.
