You asked her why

She wanted revenge,

All because of a small error.

She told you it was

Just in her nature,

To be unforgiving

And revengeful.

But it's just not right,

To suffer so much

From somebody's mistake.

It also just ain't right

To make someone suffer

Purposefully,

Just because we're angry,

Just because we're sad.

You didn't want to

Treat her badly,

It just happened.

You said sorry,

But she didn't forgive

And now you're left

In a world of sorrow

And guilt.

Because she didn't smile,

Because she didn't care

About you, about others.

But then again, the next day,

Here she goes and

Makes the same mistake.

Funny, right?

And you promptly

Forgave her,

Making her feel like

She didn't even

Do anything wrong.

You felt a little bad,

For a moment.

But then again,

What does it matter?
