Necromantic Gamer's Journey(DxD)

The world is unfair. That is a simple and unavoidable truth. The strong rule the weak and might makes right. No matter what you do if you are not strong enough it is worthless. Somebody stronger can just pry your accomplishments out of your cold dead hands. End your life just because they simply felt like it. So if you had the chance to become strong, the opportunity to achieve something. Wouldnt you take it? Then when you end up in the void after death and a translucent panel offers you the chance to start over again and experience life to its fullest wouldn't you accept? _______________________________________________ [New Game?] [Yes] [No] _______________________________________________ [Yes!] Note: I do not own the cover now do I have any claim over it

New DxD fanfic!

Hey guys it's me Bronz. (Hopefully)Your favourite metal man.

It has slowly been coming to my attention the flaws of A Necromantic Gamer's Journey.

Now don't get me wrong, it is still the story that most of you guys love and it is also the story that most of you guys are here for. But it has a lot of flaws.

I wasn't really too experienced when writing A Necromantic Gamer's Journey. I was mostly going off what other people did and threw ideas inside left and right. And those mistakes start accumulating.

The system itself in particular is way more complex than it needs to be to the point I feel it hinders progression. For example, the affection which I have tried to fix somewhat.

What I dislike the most and what most people complain about is the pacing and just how many chapters are spent in dungeons. Which, yeah, I have to agree, I put way too much focus on the gamer aspect and that bit me in the ass.

Also, Jujutsu does not mesh very well with DxD, leading to Mc feeling excluded from most of the things in DxD. He cannot use Sacred Gears nor does he use swords, he doesn't use their magic system either.

Akira himself did not fit well within DxD either. He just feels more like a fate type protagonist rather than a DxD one.

I did things with some character that I regret too. For example, Grayfia, I feel like she could have been handled way better. So could have for example Aika(I feel like I put too much focus on her) and Wiz too.

And with ideas of what I could have done better and what people have complained about building, I thought. Why not make another DxD fanfiction? One that learned from my past mistakes?

So I have decided to make another DxD fanfic, one that takes a different route from Necromantic at least. So that it won't just be a remake of Necromantic, they are separate things.

This does not mean I am dropping Necromantic, I will still release regular chapters for it, albeit at a reduced rate until the new one actually cements itself. Just like how I first released Necromantic.

So ladies and gentlemen I present you...

High School DxD: Dragons Ascent.

I hope you guys will give this a fair shot.

The first chapter will be released tomorrow. I am releasing twice the rate of chapters on ρατrəοη until the ρατrəοη is 10 chapters ahead of public release.
