29 Chapter 29: Gearing Up
I have an ungodly amount of Draugr bone, zombie flesh, and everything in between in my inventory and that was after converting a lot of flesh into decay potions. On another note, this basement was very, very good. Spacious, clean, isolated. The floor was reinforced concrete with some kind of magical oak plank covering while the walls were dark oak.
I opened my ritual book and started reading through and after refreshing my memory I drew the undead construction circle on the floor with my blood. And next to that, I drew the undead enhancement circle.
With the undead construction circle, I could create undead golems but with the class knowledge that I receive by leveling, I had an idea. By adding a cursed corpse core in the middle I could create cursed corpses with this.
I don't really remember what advantage cursed corpses had but they were more like golems than undead if I didn't suddenly develop dementia. They also have more intelligence than most undead. I am also certain that they can develop sentience like how that one guy made them.
But I dont really need them.
Plus with this ritual, I can avoid the template restrictions of create undead and create an undead that looks and functions however I want as long as it is within the limits of the undead construction circle.
For example, my create undead does not have anything like a corpse giant(yet). But with the undead construction circle, I can create the corpse of a corpse giant and use the extension technique raise undead to animate it.
Now that I think about it can I create my own extension techniques? After these extension techniques mean they are originally capable of being accomplished by the original technique. But leveling it up first should make it easier to develop extension techniques.
Dumping 6 draugr bone into the circle I activated it and by imbuing it with 1000CE the circle processed the bones and in the middle emerged an entire inanimate skeleton with the level of 30. Using that skeleton as a base I raised a Skeleton Ranger.
I saw firsthand how useful they were, especially against a flying opponent. If I had a higher number of them following us behind at a distance I could've obliterated the Raygang at a distance. Plus having some of these guys patrolling the halls should instill some obedience in them.
Speaking of: I still haven't looked at the obedience tutorial, have I?
Tutorial Obedience: Sometimes you need a rougher hand in dealing with people. Obedience measures how willing someone is to obey you and not go against your orders. Low affection can lead to obedience declining while on the other hand, high obedience can lead to affection rising.
Alright, that was good, Obedience is basically how submissive and breedable they are then, good to know. I used 24 more Draugr bones to create 4 more undead rangers. It's a shame these guys dont really have stealth capabilities or else I could use them much more effectively.
Wait a second. I think there was a spell in the grimoire about this right? I retrieved my grimoire and flipped through the pages until I reached the end page which had a single spell.

By performing Dark Gift on a bound undead the Necromancer, using the connection between them can bestow upon their undead one of their own aspects, even give the undead the ability to perform one of your spells. You can give a skeleton titan the ability to breathe flame. A skeleton mage the ability to heal.
You can even create liches using this method by bestowing necromancy on a skeleton mage.

The cost was expensive as BALLS but this one skill can level up my necromancy game to a whole nother level. Using it I can give my skeletons chameleon, or give my wights life drain. Or maybe I can even give them traits like spellcaster for a wizard.
The options are endless. But for now, I should focus on the more immediate tasks as I can gather souls slowly but surely. For now, I have really neglected cursed tool creation, with my recent connection with Azazel I could probably ask him for resources and he would be happy to give them as long as he can see the result and get some products.
Besides, I know a way I can get my curtain game even higher using cursed tool creation. For example, I can turn the mana-holding gems into cursed tools to improve their capacity and efficiency.
Pulling out a bunch of junk loot I got to creating cursed tools. First I refurnished the basement into a proper workshop where I could focus inside of course, being in a place where I could concentrate better would go a long way toward improving my cursed tools.

I seem to have made a breakthrough.
After cursed tool creation leveled up to 25 I can now infuse the aspect more of my skills into the cursed tools I create like curtains. I suspect I would need to reach level 50 before I can create cursed tools with active or passive abilities.
But now I have learned the reason why Tozama is just better than all of my other blades. Because it has cursed energy reinforcement imbued into it like most other cursed tools.
And even better, after ordering Mittelt to buy me some talisman papers I was able to create talismans. I can create talismans using cursed tool creation but they were different than cursed tools, and easier to make too, it only takes 3.5 minutes to create a talisman.
And unlike cursed tools, I could imbue spells onto them, for example.

Has the spell [Cursed Flames] stored inside of it. When used the talisman will be consumed and the spell will be released. The imbued spell is weaker than the original.
And even better, using the principle behind curtain I could set activation conditions on the talisman, it was actually quite similar to coding, for example.
Condition >> When somebody sneezes within 50 meters(I am not actually capable of setting such a condition yet) >> Activate Talisman
But what I have done is create trap talismans I made by imbuing simple domain and cursed flames into them. The talisman holds enough energy to maintain a very simple level 1 simple domain for a few minutes, and when anything with a cursed energy signature steps into that simple domain the cursed flames spell inside will be released.
These babies are my ticket to cheesing field dungeon bosses. I need to reach level 100 soon so that I can create Death Knights and promote my soldiers to them, that's when I will set up some undead enhancement circles.
I also found some way to reinforce the walls of my laboratory in case some of my experiments fail and go boom like what happens when I fail talisman creation. I can put cursed energy reinforcement on my talismans and when I slap those talismans on walls and such it will apply the reinforcement there
I have to leave some cursed energy inside of it to keep functioning which was mildly annoying though. But it was very effective. With level 50 enhancement imbued the oak walls were as strong as solid metal now.
After doing all of that I used cursed tool creation on one of the crystals that could store 10,000 units of magical power. After imbuing it with cursed reservoir and the general enhancement it got its storage power shot all the way to 12,500 units. And using that storage unit as a core I erected yet another curtain with sense cursed energy and chameleon.
It still annoys me that Azazel was so easily able to pass by my energy detection, and for some reason whenever I tried it I couldn't imbue curtain with simple domain. But now that my flawed security curtain was up I felt a bit safer.
Also, I enchanted my jujutsu clothes with cursed well to increase my recovery speed by yet another 10%.
Normally, after all of this prep time, I would head to the dungeons to grind and try to fill up this grimoire. But tomorrow I would have to pick Asia Argento. And I dont want to be in a cranky mood when I meet her.
Well, I guess I can explore my own house for a bit and cook myself some pancakes. Leaving the messy workshop I went upstairs and found Mittely dusting off the top of a bookshelf. Honestly, I am surprised by how diligent she is.
I am sure at least one of them would have tried murdering me by now.
Activating chameleon I knelt under her and watched as she dusted off the bookshelves, her cute ass clad by her striped panties wiggled from side to side as she did so, but I couldn't help but notice how tense she was.
After a bit of watching her, she finally noticed my presence. Going a tiny bit red she turned to me and pulled her skirt down.
"U-um sir, what are d-doing?" She asked hesitantly as if I would try to kill her because she said that.
"Just admiring the scenery, by the way, how are the other two?" I know they physically can't cause many problems because of the slave crest I put on them but I want to know what they are doing.
"Uhh, Kala-chan is doing well I think, she is quite h-hard to read. On the other hand Raynare-ne- Raynare is not doing so well, she started panting very heavily after you went down to your workshop and refuses to speak to anyone and locked herself in her room." Mittelt said quite hesitantly, I knew what was going on with Raynare and wanted to see how long it would take for her to crack so I would leave her be for now.
She was a fallen angel that fell due to lust so she must be pretty resistant but the effects would get stronger and stronger the more she disobeyed so I let her stew.
"Alright, good job Mittelt. Oh and before I forget, inform Ray and Kal that I will be receiving a guest tomorrow and to treat her with courtesy as he will be staying with us from now on alright?." She meekly nodded, but before I was about to head to head upstairs she stopped me.
"U-um what should I do about Raynare?" Wow, she really is taking this temporary head maid position rather seriously.
"Well let her be for now. She will cum around eventually. But if you really want, you decide, you are in charge of her after all." I waved her off as I went back to going up the stairs.

Up the stairs, there were 6 rooms and one toilet. Rather fittingly Raynare's was right next to the shitter. Kalawarner's was next to hers and Mittelts was in front of Kal's. Two rooms next to Mittelt's was currently empty, one of them would be Asia's while the other remained empty in case.
At the end of the hallway was my room, inside was a decently furnished room with a very comfortable king-sized bed that I instantly fell in love with. It had everything a man's room would normally have and a window wall that looked over the backyard.
Stripping down to everything except my boxers I fell onto the soft goodness that was my bed I fell asleep with an incredibly slight smile on my face.
