Facing a Hobgoblin

Noah couldn't sleep; he decided he would take a stroll through the forest and add more goblins to his army.

"Where are you going? Noah asked Hugo, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm going out to kill some goblins while no one is out there" Said Noah

"Can I come?" Said Hugo getting out of bed.

"Only if you promise to not tell your parents" said Noah walking out of Hugo's room Hugo smiled and followed Noah to the front door.

"We will have to sneak past the guards at one of the exits" Said Noah.

"You can use one of your goblins," said Hugo

Noah and Hugo hid behind a house close to the gate before Noah summoned his goblin and made it run past the guards causing them to turn and look. The goblin turned and charged back at the guards swinging its sword and jumping towards the right.

They used this opening to rush past the guards they ran until they reached the forest and began to walk. They made it to the goblin village and saw a very small amount of goblins patrolling the nearby forest while others walked out of the village and into the forest not returning.

Noah and Hugo saw a group coming back. The group had a cage with a huge black dog with 5 smaller ones laying next to it.

'Wonder how they captured that it's bigger than all of them?' thought Noah before following one of the group's that walked in the forest.

The group of 8 goblins walked for a while before stopping in an open field Noah summoned goblins and waited behind a bush with Hugo.

"Where is your weapon? Hugo" asked Noah, realizing Hugo didn't grab his swords Hugo closed his eyes and 5 throwing knives formed in his hand.

"I will use these so your goblins can fight them up close" Said Hugo, throwing one of the needles at the goblin's head, freezing it.

Noah and his goblins jumped from behind the bush Noah stabbed one of the goblins in the head. The black goblins were quicker and a lot more durable than the green ones allowing them to tear through the goblins without Noah interviewing

"Noah to your right" yelled Hugo still on the tree before Noah could look over a fatter much bigger goblin swung his arm at Noah.

Noah was sent flying by the fat goblin his body had become stiff and more visions popped in his head this time all he could see was him waving to a dark figure.

Noah's goblins started to rush the bigger goblin Hugo jumped from the tree with an ice spear, he threw the spear at the fat goblin but it blocked with its hand, the spear froze the goblins hand giving Hugo enough time to throw another spear at its leg.

Hugo quickly rushed over to Noah, his body was bloodied and his ribcage was poking through his chest. Hugo looked at Noah's body and started to scream. Hugo's eyes turned snow white and the area around him started to freeze. He made an ice sword and shield and rushed the fat goblin.

He swung his sword at the goblin who had just killed the Last of Noah's goblins the fat goblin used one of the dead bodies of a dead goblin blockingHugo's sword, then used his axe to swing at Hugo's side but Hugo blocked with his shield but the impact from the axe broke the shield and send Hugo flying.

The goblin ran to where Hugo was jumping in the air ready to smash Hugo with his axe.

While Hugo was fighting Noah's body started to turn into purple smoke, his dead goblins turned into smoke that covered his body when the smoke fully encased Noah his bones started to heal and go back in place but his skin started to melt leaving only his skeleton.

His body then started to form back together from the spine around Noah's body. His body was now made completely out of bones. A small blast of green fire blasted from his eye sockets lighting up the nearby area.

Noah's vision became clear after a few seconds. Hugo was sent flying past him hitting a tree and blood started to flow from his head. "No Hugo" yelled Noah putting his hands on the ground when the goblin hit the ground. Dust went everywhere when the dust cleared the fat goblin was sitting on the ground where Hugo was with a bone going through its head Hugo was in a hand made of bones holding him above the ground.

Noah rushed over to Hugo to see if he was ok. His arm was broken and he had a few broken ribs Noah put his hands on Hugo hoping he wasn't dead.

When he put his hands on Hugo He could see a purple line connecting all of Hugo's bones. Noah started to connect all the broken lines and Hugo's bones started to heal.

Noah heard the robotic voice as he picked up Hugo.

"Now time for you," said Noah looking at the fat goblin touching his head.

"Emerge," said Noah.

The fat goblin's eyes opened they were now black with a purple stripe going down the middle the goblin was now black and purple the goblin got down on one knee and said

"Master" the voice of the goblin made Noah slide back a little from the force.

Noah then fed him all the souls of the dead goblins around him. Noah already turned their souls a purple colour while the regular goblins were blue. the black goblins soul was about the size of a baseball, and the regular ones were the size of a ping pong ball the fat goblin ate all souls of the smaller goblins after eating the souls the goblin's body became skinner and the stripe in his eyes started to split in half.

After the goblin evolved Noah ordered him to pick up Hugo and carry him back to the village as it was becoming day.

When Noah arrived back at the house he placed Hugo in his bed and went to lay on the other side of him. Noah was woken up by Hugo letting out an ear-piercing shout. Nick and Lora rushed into the room Hugo was drenched in sweat.

"What's wrong Hugo?" asked Lora sitting next to Hugo hugging him.

Hugo looked at Noah before turning to Lora. "Oh it's nothing mom i just had a bad dream," said Hugo jumping from his bed and leaving the room.

"Let's have breakfast and then we can start our day," said Lora. After breakfast, Noah began to head out of the door.

"I'm going to kill some goblins, I will be back later," said Noah, shutting the door behind him.

"Hugo are you gonna go with him" asked Nick

"I will leave later, I still have to get ready" said Hugo going into the bathroom.

Noah walked through the village and could see people selling food and weapons everywhere. Noah had no money for anything but it wouldn't hurt to look, Noah walked into a shop called "The Sleeping Gnome" most of the windows were boarded up.
