The invasion was delayed due to the stubbornness of Arthur, as he wanted to witness the last stand of Ledia kingdom with his own eyes. The situation of western region was unknown to him.

On the other hand Glen, who was despairing regained his composure after the report of western region.

In next few hours, Arthur who have returned from eastern region, began marching army into battlefield. On other hand, dead army hasn't arrived on the scene,which aroused doubts among Ledia forces.

Horn blew and army began rushing towards the northern frontier.

As the Ledia forces and invasion forces clashed with each other, battlefield who was filled with dust, turned into an bloodbath. Ledia forces were being pushed back and Glen who was being surrounded by enemies, struggled.

Glen already made his mind to give up his life while protecting his nation.On the other side Arthur had already entered the battlefield and made his way towards Glen, the motive was to quickly take out general and the whole army will be dispersed.

As Glen was holding his ground against multiple enemies, Arthur threw his axe towards him from his blind spots. Glen immediately grasped the dangerous situation, he was in and tried to dodge the axe but couldn't. As he was waiting for axe, suddenly an black swordman with red robe rushed into scene deflecting axe.

Glen was surprised on sudden arrival of black swordsman and in next moment without his realisation, dead army surfaced on Battle field.

"Ledia forces retreat, your work is done, let our reinforcements handle it",

On hearing familiar voice, Glen filled with joy. The voice was none other than Ivy's.

Strategically Ledia forces retreated and Dead army took their place. The pace of war accelerated, due to the battle in western region, the number of dead army increased from 40,000 to 150,000.

Even though Invasion forces were greater in quantity but dead army was greater in quality.

Glen who has just retreated, rushed to meet Ivy,

"thank God, you are alive",

"I am sorry, I couldn't save your highness".

Ivy was already informed of King's death from the soldiers of western region. But since they were at brink of extinction, rather than mourning she decided to take action.

"Where's the Arthur?"

"I spotted him at north west of battlefield".

Glen showed surprised expression on the battle prowess of dead army, astonished by their performance. Even though they doesn't have any type of formation, but they were still overpowering the enemies. Glen asked,

"is that black swordman in red robe their leader?"

"no, he is just a general".

Glen was surprised on answer as the battle prowess of the Paladin wasn't any less from an old veteran monster. If he wasn't the leader then, who the heck was .

The primary target of Magnus was commander of invasion forces, that is Arthur void. Since he already had enough info about him. He was searching for him in Battlefield using vision.

Arthur was gritting his teeth with anger as the reinforcements of Ledia kingdom was dominating them. Arthur who was unaware of his predator, was fighting with dead army.

As the whole situation was progressing, Glen asked,

"Where's the leader of this army?"

"you won't believe if I tell you, just wait and watch".

Glen got confused, suddenly something crashed from sky into Battlefield. Finally Magnus made his appearance on Battle field, pointing his sword towards Arthur he dashed toward him.

Arthur felt an sudden bloodlust and dodged Magnus's attack by few inches.

"so you are commander of invasion forces, surely lives upto the status of commander".

"I think, you are the leader of these forces, I know you are strong why don't join us from Vestry, we will offer you great fortune".

Even though Arthur was of aggressive nature but he wasn't an idiot who will just point his weapon on anyone. His Battle instincts has been screaming out of danger signals from Magnus.

Ignoring the rubbish offer of Arthur, Magnus decided to finish him off quickly as he was in hurry to grab Durandel. As noone know when Vestry will send a hero after him, with Durandel by his side he was securing an safe measure.

Weapons of Arthur and Magnus clashed, even though Arthur doesn't have abnormal strength like Magnus but he utilised his techniques and experience to compensate for it.

Magnus, who had his first direct fight was brimming with confidence and excitement.

Since Magnus was an demigod, he doesn't really needed to enter battlefield but just order his paladin to take care of it. Due to his Battle freakish nature he developed from his past life for survival , whenever he sees an Battle his body rushed in it automatically.

Exchange of strong blows made Arthur's arms going numb. And an shadow was watching the whole fight,

While Arthur was taking all heavy blows, his hands gave up and in next move, Magnus took out his arm, Arthur cried in pain. Invasion army lost most of its morale when they noticed that arm of their commander was cut off.

Arthur who was crippled, was kneeling down on his knees and was staring at Magnus,

"I really wanted to kill you myself but my client ordered you alive ".

As the whole scene with Arthur ended, Battle field became quite and some Vestry's forces fled.

Taking the crippled Arthur, Magnus threw him in front of Ivy,

" since I have completed my end of deal, now its your turn ".

Glen who was unaware of contract looked clueless. Ivy who have finally captured her father's murdered doesn't felt any regret on giving away Durandel but felt pleased on gaining such an ally.

The dead army has finally took the shape of an actually army, and Magnus planned on expanding and improving the army by introduction of Generals who will lead the army in more organised way and to do so he has to install an subconscious into them which was one heck of complex procedure .
