19 Hero's Intentions and trial

Vestry's forces were annihilated. Fame of dead army spread throughout the continent and the identity of unknown mage was discovered.

Mesnor

"who is behind all this? ",

"The person behind our defeat has been discovered and according to our intelligence that same person is the terrorist who assaulted Mesnor"

Hearing the report made Primus's blood boil and the only thing he has in mind is to strangle that person.

"Tell me more about that bastard",

"His name is Magnus Rane, according to our spies he has been staying in Ledia's capital and controls an army of about half an million"

"what about his strength?"

"our spies distinguished him as Mage but he didn't used any magic spell during the war",

A black haired man who was hearing the report objected,

"He ain't an mage but an swordsman and top of that a stronger one, I can gurantee that ",

Dead silence spread through the meeting hall, if anyone else would have spoke such a thing they would have already kicked out since the person was one of the higher powers of Vestry which even Pope Primus was afraid to upset.

Hero Association is the part of Vestry which hold utmost power, noone even Primus can go against them but they are nothing more than some maniacs.

The person was known for his swordskills and mastery of phantom sword art, and as one of the renowned hero bestowed with the title of 'Sword Saint '.

Rather than names, Heroes were bestowed with titles for their identities since they were otherworldly. Nature wise, he was just Battle freak and the only reason he joined hands with humans only to fight the strongest.

Primus who was staring at him, spoke up

"so how are we going to deal with him?"

"you don't need to do anything, I am going to deal with him soon"

"And I forbade you to interfere, because your tricks won't work on him ".

Presenting his thoughts, Sword Saint left the hall. His rude behaviour, ticked off Primus even further but since he can't go against him, he calmed himself down and waited for his action.

On the other hand, In Ledia kingdom, Magnus, Ivy and Glen were sitting in an luxurious room in King's castle.

"I think its time "

"don't be hasty, i will definetly hand over the sword to you but there's one problem".

Magnus made an confused expression,

"and what's that? "

"You have to go through an trail which was set by our ancestor to gain authority of Durandel".

"Do you know the details of Trail ?"

"We don't but I can say you only one thing, if you failed the trail at your first try, you won't be able to take it again and will lose your chance on Durandel ".

"well things are going to get more interesting ".

Its been few days, since the battle was over, Ledia has suffered a lot and was recovering.

Due to the alliance, a lot of food and other commodities were transported from Bartos city.

The alliance between Humans and demihumans were official announced throughout Ledia but there were still some people revolting against it.

The transportation task was handled by Ebina and an official alliance contract was signed between the representatives of demihumans and Princess Ivy, and Magnus played the role of middle party.

Spies of another nations were watching the Ledia closely, but due to the fear of dead army they didn't made any move or disrupted their recovery. Several nation began holding meeting secretly on discussion of Forces which can stand against Vestry.

Ertonburg

City was decorated for the upcoming crowning of Ivy as Next Empress of Ledia. Since She was the only daughter of last king and have extraordinary skills in administration field it was obvious. As for Glen,even though he was royalty but he doesn't accelerate in field of administration but in military, so him being next emperor was out of question and he himself doesn't wanted the position.

City was lit with light and in an large hall, all high official and alliance members were present. As soon as she arrived through the door, an domineering charisma that a king should have filled the hall.

Ivy who have experienced a lot of mishappening which she was unknown made her grow into better person.

Magnus who wasn't interested in the political ceremony went out on stroll, city was filled with joy even though they have suffered a lot in past few days but it doesn't shattered the hope of people to live better.

While strolling, Magnus interacted with Orion,

"Do you know anything about this trial?"

"yes, master but you don't have permission to access the information"

"huh...why is that?"

"Spirit king doesn't allow anyone to access any information about trial"

"Is spirit king gonna take the trail? "

"No, he won't since Spirit king is Supreme being, he won't be coming to trial leaving behind spirit world but master it would be someone strong so be careful"

"I have my huge dead army who will go against it"

"well about that master, you won't be allowed to use dead army in trail"

Last statement of Orion made Magnus uneasy, if Orion described someone as strong it meant as stronger than Magnus.

Sword Saint who was watching over Ertonburg, muttered

"At last I will be able to get my hands on that sword and will initiate reformation "

"lucky me, he will bring it to me and I don't need to make any extra efforts".

In next moment, Sword saint disappeared from city and Magnus who was strolling around the city was clueless about the hidden hero and his agenda.

After the official ceremony was over

, Magnus head back to the ceremony hall and congratulated her. Everyone began drinking, and dancing in hall.

After the end of celebration, everyone was send out and only Ivy and Magnus were left and they headed towards the basement in King's castle. Noone in kingdom knew about the hidden temple under castle other than late king and Ivy, not even Glen was informed about it.
