Jade

"How much more?" Artica moaned as they trudged up the steep cliff.

"Just a bit." Noami answered. She didn't seem tired at all.

Jade sighed. They have been walking for hours, following Noami to a cave where she said was safe for a shelter.

According to Noami, the shelter was a gift, gifted by Mother Nature, telling Noami to use it as a shelter for the "others", which were exactly them.

"The sun is bright today." Estella cursed softly and wrapped herself in a cocoon of darkness.

Jade smiled and looked up to the sky.

They were there. The cave was massive, and it seemed to glow faintly.

"Here." Noami turned her gaze towards the cavern.

The three astounded girls stepped in and glanced around, observing their surroundings.

There was a main cave connected to five small caves, a bit like a star.

However, the biggest cave in the middle was still empty.

"My room is over there to the right." Noami gestured for the others to follow her.

The room was dim, but there was plenty of light given from the lamp shaped like a full moon, hanging from the roof of the cave.

Noami glanced towards the direction Jade was staring.

"Don't worry light girl, it morphs into a sun at daytime."

"Don't call me light girl!"

"Oops sorry, Sunny."

"That's still not my name!"

"Oh—what was your name again?"

Jade slapped her palm to her forehead but still smiled.

"Jade."

Jade continued to examine Noami's room.

A bookshelf stands in a corner of the room, almost hidden from the others.

Artica seemed to notice it too.

"Hey Noami, what's that bookshelf for?"

"That is a secret…" Noami walked towards the shelf with a serious expression. "But considering that Mother Nature said that I could trust you, I'll just say it."

The thought of the bookshelf tingled in Jade's brain.

It might be because I'm too curious.

Nothing serious.

Right?

"This bookshelf is a storage of my weapons. If you try to break in," Noami glared at each and one of them with her stormy eyes. "You know what the consequences are. This is not just a regular bookshelf. I store my bow and arrows in here, which will allow me to summon many duplicates of the arrows during battle. No one can open this bookshelf except for Mother Nature and me. No other can be at the power of Mother Nature."

The others nodded.

The rest of Noami's room consisted of a fake-fur rug, a wooden chair, and nothing more.

"You can ask for anything in your room," Noami instructed. "Just stand in the location and shout out the name and function."

The other three girls then scurried to choose their own caves; they were very excited.

~~~
Jade was finished setting up her whole room, or cave.
She enjoyed being in the light and filled the room with shining orbs of light floating in the air.
Estella just seemed to walk by. She squinted and blocked her eyes with the back of her hand.
"What did you put in there?"
"Light, of course, would you like to come in?"
"Forget it. No way I'm going to be going in there." Estella's hands stopped blocking her eyes, but there was a cloud of dark mist surrounding her. She walked away.
In a side of the room, there was a bed.
It was made of rays of light, making the texture soft and silky. Jade knew she wouldn't sleep there frequently, but it was a good cover for the weapon storage.
Just as Noami said, Jade put her scepter in a nightstand beside the bed, she stretched out her hand and imagined holding the scepter. She didn't even need to try hard. It just appeared when she thought of it.
The rest of the room was nothing special. A small table and some chairs, a golden carpet, and a fluffy couch. Just when Jade was going to sit down, Artica ran in the room.
"Jade! Come out now!"
Artica's voice was anxious but excited.
Jade followed Artica out of the cave.
The air outside was fresh, like the smell of pine trees. The scent of roses filled the air and the sun shined brighter.
Right in front of the cave was a woman floating on a cloud in the air.
