Having second thoughts

Natasha arrived home and went straight to her room, her mood was the opposite of what it was in the morning when she left and went shopping. When Allyson saw her like that, she maintain some distance and courtesy, being as respectful as she could not to get on the bad side of the woman.

She was the first woman to live in the Manson. And the fact that she had been there for so long made the middle-aged woman more respectful of her.

Quietly, Allyson took the shopping bags from the car and carried them up to Natasha's room before coming down to make her lunch. Natasha ignored her and went inside to have some rest because she felt tired and drained from the encounter with the two women.

The moment she walked into her room, she saw the figure standing there like a statue in the middle of the room. She sighed because he only reminded her of what she had to do.

"I thought you would be busy today." She said even though she knew he could come and go whenever he wanted without anyone holding him back.

"You are having second thoughts," He stated. Natasha pouted at Him and walked over to the bed.

"It was only for a moment," She said while taking off her shoes. "And it was only a fleeting thought."

"Good," He said and walked to stand in front of her, "Let it only be a fleeting thought, Natasha," He lifted her chin so she stares into his eyes. "We have a deal, you can't break it."

"I won't," She said. "You won't let me even if I want to." They stared at each other for a few seconds before she broke eye contact with him.

"True," he replied without denying it and then stepped away from her giving her some space.

"How did you know? She asked. She stood barefoot and walked to where he stood. "How did you know that I was having second thoughts?" she stood two steps away and tilted her head up to look at his face.

He leaned in on her and cupped her cheek and said, " You are mine Natasha, all of you." He stared into her and she could not look away. "I know everything about you, your feelings, your thoughts, I know them all, so don't try to back out now." He then caressed her cheek lightly before stepping back again.

Natasha stood dazed, both at his words and at the proximity they shared a second ago. 'I know your feelings and your thoughts,' these words were replaying in her head over and over again that she did not hear whatever he said next.

"I am yours," Natasha said and wrapped her hands around his neck. "You know how I feel, right?" he did not reply but stared at her. "Then can you tell me why I feel this way?"

"I have given you the answer to that before." He replied.

Natasha knew what he was talking about, the answer he gave to her. She remembered the day he had kissed her and what else happened in the process. She remembered his answer to her question. He had said 'I have become a part of you,' it was no wonder he knew what she felt.

"I am sorry," she said and placed her head on his shoulder while on the tip of her toes. "I will never go back on my word, that's a promise." she needed him while he didn't need her. The least she could do for his staying true to their deal was to keep her end of the deal and harden her mind against anything else.

*********

That night After Reaper had left her alone in the room, She found it hard to sleep, she tossed and turned around on the bed many times but could find it in her to sleep so she decided to do something with her time.

She left the bed and suddenly had the urge to visit someone. A smirk appeared on her lips as she made her to the closet to change her clothes.

She was going to visit someone special and should appear in a special look that she was sure he would appreciate. In the closet, she picked up a pair of black leather pants, and a black shirt with a black leather jacket that had spikes on its shoulders, elbows and around the wrist and collar.

She also wore some black boots on her feet and a chocker with chains on it around her neck and black matt lipstick on her lips. Natasha looked at herself in the mirror and she was sure he would receive the greatest shock of his life. She smiled at that thought. How exhilarating!

She took the hourglass that she had kept in the closet to make sure that Allyson

did not get a heart attack from seeing it. From the inscriptions on it to the bone fingers at the top of it and the black-coloured sand in it was weird and should not be seen in a normal person's room.

Taking it in her hands, she placed her palm on the fingers and turned it to the right and the black sandwich turned red, she then disappeared from her room and in a few seconds, she materialized in another room that she was also very familiar with.

There, she saw a man sitting at the study desk going through some documents and she walked closer to him stealthily. She loomed over his shoulder and said, "Did you miss me?"

Startled, Nigel turned abruptly and looked over his shoulder. His eyes went wide when he saw her. He looked like he had seen a ghost as he gazed at her. "Natasha?" He called her name in disbelief. Natasha was the perfect definition of 'Haunting beauty,' with her current look.

The woman in front of him was nothing like what she used to be. Why was she dressed like that? He asked himself before he then remembered that the woman was not the same anymore. He quickly stood up and created some distance between them. He had seen what she was capable of doing at close range and he did not want to become another person who she kills off easily.

His eyes then moved to the hourglass on her hands, he remembered seeing it before and the red sand inside gave him a red flag. His hand then moved to grab something behind him, ready to defend himself.
