Chapter 1

NOTHING BAD ever happened to me but you can say meeting Aubrey was the best and worst day of my life.

I flutter my eyes and check my surroundings and notice that I'm in a different environment that I usually in. This place is more elegant and clean but I live in a 1 bedroom flat so something was wrong. This bedroom is the size of my apartment.

I turn my head to see a raven hair male next to me fast asleep. Well something's about to change. I start taking in his beauty from his hair, button nose to his jawline.

"Stop looking at me you creep, if you want to look at me closer you should have told me." Aubrey said with half a eye open and started smirking. I felt his grip on my waist tighten and as he pulled me into his chest,

"Why would I want to look at an ogre like you?" I mummer under my breath still close to his chest.

"What did you say Nat? Say it louder." He said beaming his brown-orange tinted eyes into my head. I'm debating if I should say anything because this could go one way or another.

"I said what are you doing in my bed?" He knows when I lie because I sound like some squeaking rat. So this can actually go one way or another because he hates when I lie.

"What else am I doing here? I'm sleeping"

"But I thought this was my bed"

"But I own the house sooo?"

This wasn't getting us anywhere so I might as well let him have the bed.I started to get off the bed but i felt an arm grip around my waist pulling me back in the bed,

"What are you doing I want to sleep with my woman" I felt him snuggle into my neck and started to leave kisses. I tried to get up once more but I heard him say,

" If you get up from this bed you're not going to be able to go and visit your family and go McDonald's for the next week." Still leaving a trail of kisses down my neck. Does he really think I want to visit the rats that I call a family. But I really do want to eat McDonald's. Fuck he's got me in a corner. I climbed back into bed and he automatically pulled me into his chest. I inhaled his strawberry scent as I felt my eyes fluttering to his heartbeat. I felt him kiss the top of my head and I just smiled in response.

We had our moments of love and hate but when moments like this happen, I don't mind him that much. Even though he took away my freedom, I still feel a certain way about him. What is happening to us Natalie, we have to get our self together!

*Bing*

I look over and saw that someone had texted me. I picked up my phone and saw my brother-in-law had texted me(also my childhood friend but that shit changed after he got engaged with my witch of a sister).

Damon: are you coming to

the engagement party?

Natalie:Idk maybe, I'll check my timetable.

All of a sudden I felt my phone being snatched from my hand,

"Who's Damon?" Ah Aubrey is as jealous as ever.

I felt his grip on my waist tighten in more.

"No one he doesn't matter." I said brushing off his question. He doesn't need to know about him.

"I'll ask you one more time. Who's Damon?" He said this time in a deep tone. I could tell that he was starting to loose his patience because from leaving trails of kisses on my neck, he's now sucking and biting on my skin. What is he a vampire now? I tried my hardest to hold in my moan but he making this hard for me. I let out a low moan as he licked over the mark.

"H-he's my brother-in-law..." I said breathlessly.

"That's all I need to know Natalie, see easy.If only you just told me before you wouldn't have a mark on your neck or you wouldn't be in this state" He said proudly smirking at how he made me feel.

"Fuck you"

"Anytime Nat. Anytime."
