A few days after the attack, Hiruzen arrived. I informed him what had happened, and as expected he suspected the same thing I did. You see, there was a reason beyond interrogation of why I hadn't killed the enemy ninja that tried to kill me and kidnap Tsunade.

Because, the one that sent them, knew they were gonna fail, meaning their mission objective was not success, but something else, their objective was to rekindle the flames of war by having us break the peace treaty.

In short, they sent two scapegoats to die, so that they could say we broke the treaty by killing two of their ninjas. At least that was my theory, otherwise their plan made no sense, the ninja they had sent were weak, and considering my fame in Iwa… it was stupid to send them after me.

The sad thing about all of this was, the poor idiots didn't know about this plan, in their heads their Kage had sent them on this mission because according to them no one else besides them could complete it.

In the end, Hiruzen let them go, for the sake of preserving the peace, showing Iwa in the process we would not fall for such attempts, not gonna lie, I wanted to kill them, but the risk of igniting the war again, was too big.

"You did well," Hiruzen sighed.

"And yet I feel dirty," I sighed.

"I understand the feeling," Hiruzen agreed, "So… I heard you have been training one of my students,"

"I have, considering you haven't taught her anything," I nodded.

"I just got here…" Hiruzen pouted.

"By the way, unless it is a necessity… don't call me for a mission, I need a vacation… and time to train," I informed him, with a tone of finality. I needed a break from all of this.

"Sure," Hiruzen nodded.

"Well, time to go," I had a lot of things to do, like buying groceries, and the sweet bacon bits Deandre loves so much.

"Oh, I almost forgot, I heard you had dinner with Mito and Tsunade, how was it?" At this, a heavy drop of cold sweat fell onto the floor. That dinner was… strange.

[Dinner in the Senju household - a few days ago ]

I arrived at the Senju main household after carrying the two enemy ninja back to the torture department, the house was big, and very well decorated. The wood and most of the building was charged with residual chakra, a very odd feeling.

"Welcome," Mito Uzumaki greeted, and for a second I detailed her from head to toe, noticing she had a long, bright-red hair that was arranged in buns with hair pins in them and three clips in the front keeping the whole style together, her eyes were black and pupilless, giving an odd sensation when being looked at. For her clothes she wore an elaborate, high-collared kimono with the Uzushiogakure symbol on the back of the obi which was tied around her waist. But what got my attention was, the familiar sensation I felt on her chakra, it was almost like… those two.

"Raiden… are you okay?" Tsunade inquired in a worried tone, snapping me out of my long reverie.

"Sorry, I got lost in my own mind for a second," I chuckled, bowing respectfully to Mito as a greeting.

"It's okay, but if it helps you… don't worry, I keep a tie leash on the beast," Mito smiled, walking towards what I assumed was the kitchen.

"The what?" Tsunade mumbled, as I tried to process what had happened.

Taking a deep breath, I smiled and proceeded to enter the Senju household. And then, things got weird.

"I couldn't believe my own ears when I heard Tobirama had adopted someone into the clan," Mito chuckled, as the servants served the food, "But I can see why… you are a smart kid, very much so, I would even go as far as to say he saw himself in you, who would've guessed, Tobirama being a sentimental one, I always assumed my Hashi was the sentimental,"

"I will be forever grateful for what Tobirama sensei did for me," I smiled, "He… was a weird combination of cold and warm…"

"That he was," Mito nodded.

"I heard you have a few monikers," Tsunade piped in with a smile.

"Yes," I nodded with a chuckle, "They vary depending of the village, but most of them call me either immortal or undead,"

"What a peculiar array of monikers," Mito commented, taking a sip of her tea.

"So… you can't die?" Tsunade inquired with a soft hum.

"Oh I can, but it's hard to… so they simply assumed I was immortal," I grinned.

"I will get a better moniker, just wait," Tsunade grinned back.

At this, Mito chuckled, "I wonder… what will your kids look like," and right here… I choked violently on my food.

"Grandma!" Tsunade cried out, blushing under the table, and I witnessed my life fade away under my choked throat.

"What? I didn't say anything…. You were the ones to misinterpret," Mito smiled, "Or perhaps you didn't, who knows…."

"Oh my god! Raiden! Don't go into the light!" Tsunade, who had just now remembered I was dying, jumped to my rescue. "Breath!" she commanded.

I looked at Hiruzen, and shuddered, "It was… good, I guess… I almost died though,"

"Oh, typical dinner with Mito then," Hiruzen nodded.

"I… I won't even question that, bye," without wanting to extend our conversation any longer, I flickered out his office.

"Haha, poor kid…" Hiruzen chuckled.

[Jiraiya POV]

Raiden this Raiden that… I will show Tsunade I am the best! I will challenge Raiden into a duel! Defeat him! And win the princess love! Like in every comic I have ever read! Jonin or not, Raiden was going to pay for stealing my girl!

"Don't," Orochimaru said.

"Don't what?" I asked.

"I know that face… you are about to do something monumentally stupid… so don't," Orochimaru elaborated.

"I won't! All I'm going to do it's challenge Raiden into a match for Tsunade's love," I declared, knowing I would win, for the hero always won.

"You are going to challenge a seasoned war veteran…" Orochimaru took a deep long breath, "I stand corrected… it's not a stupid idea," at this I smiled, "It's a retarded one, I will get the medic ready, though I doubt they will be able to repair your broken body,"
