- 25 - 3 Young Shinobi
He now stood before his father once again in their backyard, and his father had just asked him which C-rank jutsu he would like to learn.
Izuna then said, "I'd like to learn the Wind Release: Great Breakthrough jutsu so I can combine it with my Great Fireball jutsu."
His father then said, "That is a good pick. I would have probably chosen a defensive jutsu, but if that is what you want, then I'll teach it to you."
His father then taught him the Shadow Clone Jutsu and the Great Breakthrough Jutsu, and he then left once again to go to the training ground where he began to practice his jutsus.
As he practiced the Great Breakthrough Jutsu, he brought his hand to his mouth and blew out a large gust of wind that had several blades of wind, putting deep cuts on all the trees in their path for 15 meters, even managing to cut down some of the smaller trees.
Izuna thought to himself, 'This is a really great jutsu. I didn't think a wind jutsu would get this deadly until B-rank.'
He then began to use his Shadow Clone and started to work on the timing for the combination of the Great Fireball Jutsu and the Great Breakthrough Jutsu, but eventually, his chakra ran dry.
He thought to himself, 'I can't wait until I no longer need to worry about chakra. Over the next couple of years, my chakra should grow so much that even Hiruzen will have to look in awe.'
He then started his physical training since his chakra reserves were empty and due to the entrance exams this morning, he missed his early training routine.

Kenshin Nara, the leader of the academy entrance test, was standing in front of Lord Third, the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf.
Kenshin then bowed slightly and said, "Lord Hokage."
Hiruzen waved his hand and said, "It's okay, we can skip the pleasantries. Are there any promising youths this year?"
Kenshin then says, "Yes, this time we had three standouts: Izuna and Fugaku Uchiha, and Minato Namikaze. As well as several other promising future shinobi, but they can't currently be considered as prodigies, while these three can."
Hiruzen then says, "Oh, that is good. Looks like we need to set up a special class for this year. Thank you for your work for the village and for letting me know. You may leave." The Nara special jounin then bowed slightly and left his office.
Hiruzen then uses the Crystal Ball Jutsu and began to look for the three promising youths.
He quickly found Fugaku outside at the lake, standing on the pier practicing his Great Fireball Jutsu.
Hiruzen then searched the village for the other two, and he eventually found Minato practicing a D-rank Wind Release Jutsu.
He thinks to himself, 'His parents must have left him that.'
He then thinks about the Namikaze couple, who were special jounin and had recently died during a mission for the village.
Hiruzen thinks to himself, 'I need to spend extra care to raise him into a fine shinobi.'
He then eventually finds Izuna in his training ground, practicing with the Shadow Clone Jutsu. He raises an eye at that. Him already practicing a B-rank jutsu was a splendid surprise.
He thinks, 'I noticed that one of the youths had the chakra of an elite chunin. This must have been him.' He then thinks that these three should easily make jounin, hopefully become elite jounin, and have a possibility to be something more if they keep up their training.
