17 Chapter 17: The Death of Nohara Rin

## Some Time Later ##

After learning that Madara was his great-grandfather, Senshi had grown in order to surpass him. He had mastered even more ninjutsu and had learned how to open all the 8 Gates. He had also further honed his kenjutsu (sword techniques) and Iaido (quickdraw) skills to the point that when he slices someone, not a single stain or blemish would be on his blade. He had also mastered his Mangekyo Sharingan to the point where he can armor himself or coat his fists with the flames of Amaterasu without getting burned. He had gained even more titles, such as the Sharingan Shinigami, for whoever fought him with his Sharingan active died, The Shi no Ha or Blade of Death, for whoever clashed against his blade died, and Raikiri no Senshi or Senshi of the Lightning Blade, because his blades of electricity had cut down many, many ninja. He had also created his own taijutsu style, the Demonic Dragon style, which fused the Goken or Strong Fist's brute force and power, the Juuken or Gentle Fist's targeting of tenketsu, vital organs and pressure points, faster than sound speed and incredibly flexible acrobatic maneuvers capable of snapping a foe's neck using only legs. He had helped Kakashi master both his new Sharingan from Obito and the chokuto Senshi gave him. He had also become quick friends with Yukari, as they had a lot in common. However, in the back of his mind, he began thinking about strange, not so platonic situations with Yukari-chan, but he always pushed them to the back of his mind, yet they were always there. Ahem.. Back to the story! Now, things are now going horribly wrong on one of Team Minato's missions. Rin has been kidnapped by Kirigakure and forced to become the jinchuriki of the Sanbi or the Three-Tails. Kakashi and Senshi got her back and now they are in the middle of a field, surrounded by masked Kiri-nin who were mostly either elite jonin or ANBU.

## At the Battle ##

Senshi, Kakashi and Rin stayed back-to-back as they analysed their opponents, Senshi drawing his sword and Kakashi drawing his chokuto. The Kiri-nin rushed at them and Senshi began swinging. Senshi rushed at one while slashing and he got his sword blocked. The two began fighting for superiority as their blades clashed, then another Kiri-in joined in the clash and Senshi, knowing that he couldn't keep this up because of the two Kiri-nin's combined strength. He may have been powerful, but he was still a kid, and they were two adults. Making a few equations in his head, he pushed the blades up, causing the two Kiri-nin to stagger, and Senshi thrust out his hands, which had his sword and a kunai enhanced with Wind Style chakra, and killed the two Kiri-nin by impaling them on the sword and kunai. He pulled the weapons out of the bodies, put the kunai back into his belt and turned around, seeing Kakashi about to get killed by a Kirigakure ANBU. In a split second, Senshi formed the Ox seal before stretching his hand toward the ninja ready to kill Kakashi and shouted, "Lightning Style: Raikiri Reza Ken (Lightning Blade Laser Sword)!", and a blade of electricity burst from Senshi's hand and extended until it pierced the skull of the Kiri ANBU about to kill Kakashi, saving Kakashi and killing the Kiri ANBU. Senshi ran to Kakashi, helping him up, before sensing another Kiri-nin charging toward his back with a sword ready. Senshi turned around, two Rasengans in hand and shouted, "Rasenrengan (Rasengan Barrage)!", before slamming the Rasengans into the Kiri-nin, sending the Kiri-nin flying before causing an explosion that vaporised the poor ninja. The two of them protected Rin until they detected another hidden Kiri-nin, then they rushed toward the hidden ninja, and Rin knew what she had to do before running after them. As Senshi with his lightning-charged sword outstretched toward the enemy, and Kakashi doing the same thing with his Raikiri (Lightning Blade), were about to impale the enemy Kiri-nin, Rin jumped in the way, impaling herself on the sword and Raikiri. Both Kakashi and Senshi thought in shock, "Wait.. what!? No! This can't be!", as they saw Rin in front of them, impaled on their combination attack, the Kiri-nin they meant to kill behind Rin, showing no expression behind his Kirigakure ceramic mask.
