14 Chapter 14: Mission of Kannabi Bridge - Part 2

Then without saying a word, Senshi joined Obito and they left to go rescue Rin, leaving Kakashi to reflect.

Obito and Senshi both arrived at their destination. Hiding in a tree, they saw the mouth of the cave where the two Iwa ninja from earlier were hiding in. Obito slapped his face to calm himself down, but Senshi tried to stop him, and as the sound reverberated throughout the forest, Senshi thought, "Crap." Then one of the Iwa ninja appeared behind the two of them and asked, "Where are we going?", but when they turned around, Kakashi was there, and he slashed at the Iwa-nin using his White Light Chakra Sabre. The Iwa-nin landed on a nearby tree and Obito asked, "Ka.. kakashi... Why...?", and Kakashi said, "Look! I can't leave this up to you two, can I?", then the Iwa-nin said, "The silver hair... The White Light Blade... Could it be.. the White Fang of Konoha?!", then Kakashi, referring to his Sabre, said, "This is a memento from my father.", and Obito thought, "Kakashi... you...", then the Iwa-nin said, "Ah, I see... Just the White Fang's brat, eh? Then there's nothing to be nervous about that..", then the Iwa-nin formed a half Ram seal and thought, "Meisaigakure! The Art of Camouflage!", before vanishing. Kakashi sniffed the air and said, "Just as I thought... Even his smell is gone. We'd have to locate him by the slightest hint of sound.", and Obito asked, "Where...?", then Senshi, with his Sharingan activated, turned to Obito and, upon seeing the chakra-camouflaged Iwa-nin behind Obito, shouted, "Obito, he's behind you!", then as the Iwa-nin was about to slash at Obito, Kakashi jumped in the way and got his eye slashed. Kakashi shouted, "GAHH! My eye!", and Obito shouted, "Kakashi?!", while Senshi swore, "Shit!", and both of them rushed to Kakashi. Senshi turned in order to protect them and he said, "Kakashi, fix yourself up because we have to go!", and Obito said while sobbing, "Kakashi! Kakashi! You okay!?", and Kakashi replied, "Urg.. yeah...", then he said, "He.. he's pretty good.. He made sure to throw away the kunai knife he stained with my blood.", and Senshi commented, "He knows we would smell him that way." Obito looked at Kakashi with tears in his eyes, then Senshi said, "Guys, we have to go! Only Kami knows what's happening to Rin right now!", then Kakashi asked Obito, "Got some of that dust in your eyes again? A shinobi shouldn't cry. I'm not dead yet.", and as Obito got lost in his thoughts, Kakashi said, "Keep your guard up!", then Senshi said, "Guys!!", then as the invisible Iwa-nin sneaked up behind Obito and Senshi shouted, "Obito, behind-!", but Obito had turned around and stabbed the invisible Iwa-nin in the chest, prompting Kakashi to say, "Obito... You..." Then as Senshi saw Obito's two tomoe Sharingan, he thought, "Kakashi losing his eye must have awakened Obito's Sharingan, and the Sharingan can see invisible people.", then he was broken from his thoughts by the no longer invisible Iwa-nin, who questioned Obito, "H.. how..? You can't possibly see me.. What..? Your eyes..?!", then Obito said, "This time.. I'm protecting my comrade!!", as the dead Iwa-nin fell at his feet. Kakashi then said, "Obito.. Your eyes...", and Obito replied, "Yeah.. Sharingan.. I can see chakra!", then Senshi said, "Good job, Obito." Suddenly, Kakashi felt his eye throb and he said, "Gh!", and Obito asked, "Kakashi?!!", while Senshi asked, "Are you okay!?", then Kakashi said, "Yeah.. my eye is gone, guys..", then he held up the medkit that Rin gave him and he said, "But never mind that, I can use this kit Rin gave me to fix myself up. We have to save her!", then Senshi smiled and he said, "Alright Team Senshi, let's go!", then Obito and Kakashi said, "Hai!", and they went into the cave to rescue Rin. They found the other guy who was trying to coax information from Rin. He then saw them and he said, "Agh, they're all so pathetic.", then Obito deduced that Rin was under a genjutsu. The Iwa-nin said, "Hmph.. Some kids..", then Senshi made a plan in his head, that was complex, so he decided to make the guy mad and he said, "Get away from her, you pe*******e. (A/N: I have taken liberty of censoring some bad words.)", then both Obito and Kakashi looked at Senshi while silently laughing, and the Iwa-nin looked shocked that a kid knew this kind of language. The Iwa-nin regained his composure and, angry at being humiliated, said, "I'll kill you!", then he rushed at Senshi with his blades out and anger in his eye, and Senshi blocked with his sword. Kakashi then swung his Sabre at the Iwa-nin, who was forced to leap back in order to avoid getting slashed in the eye. Senshi asked, "Touchy, are we?", then he pulled out one of his Hiraishin kunai and got ready to fight. Obito and Kakashi pulled out their weapons and also got ready. Senshi and the Iwa-nin simultaneously rushed at each other in the blink of an eye and clashed with their weapons, kunai vs blade. The Iwa-nin swung his other blade at Senshi, and Senshi countered with another kunai. The Iwa-nin began overwhelming Senshi, and realizing this, Senshi broke the hold and did a double backflip, kicking the Iwa-nin in the chin and sending him flying, then Senshi landed in front of Kakashi and Obito. As the Iwa-nin got up, Senshi burst toward him, and they clashed again. But this time, the Iwa-nin broke the hold and disarmed Senshi, and as he raised his blades and was ready to kill Senshi, however as the Iwa-nin swung down, Kakashi and Obito interfered and blocked the blades using the chokuto and kunai, before pushing the blades back and forcing the Iwa-nin to step back. Senshi made a plan in his head, and then he smiled at both of them, and then drew his sword, and they all got ready. When the Iwa-nin got up, Senshi and Kakashi with his White Light Sabre flashed forward, and both of them clashed with each of the Iwa-nin blades, then Senshi shouted, "Obito, NOW!", then Senshi and Kakashi went diagonally until they were facing the Iwa-nin's shoulders, leaving him open to Obito, who ran toward the ninja and, when in front, jumped and kicked the Iwa-nin's back of the elbows down, breaking the clashes of Senshi and Kakashi, and supported himself with his hand. When Senshi and Kakashi were freed from the clashes, they swung blindly at the Iwa-nin, cutting his shoulders and leaving bleeding wounds, then the trio zoomed past the bleeding Iwa-nin and went to Rin. Kakashi released the genjutsu and Rin said, "Kakashi.. Obito.. Senshi..", then Obito said, "We've come to rescue you, Rin! You're safe.", then Kakashi said, "All right! Let's get outta here.", then they were alerted by the Iwa-nin, who said, "Hmph.. That was a pretty good combo.. But you're still kids in the end. Remember, you're standing in the palm of your enemy now..", then he weaved hand signs and shouted, "Tiger -> Rat -> Snake! Earth Style: Iwayado Kuzushi (Rock Lodging Destruction)!", then he slammed his hand on the ground. The cave started shaking and rocks started falling from the ceiling, then Senshi said, "This is bad..", then he turned to his team and shouted, "Guys, we have to get to the exit!!", and everyone started running to the exit. Suddenly, a rock hit Kakashi in his blind spot, causing him to fall, and everyone turned to Kakashi and Rin shouted, "Kakashi!", and Senshi said, "We have to save him." Obito got to Kakashi and as a boulder fell towards them, Obito tossed Kakashi away, then everyone got trapped in boulders from the Iwa-nin's point of view. They were on the ground while in a pit with the boulders surrounding them and when they opened their eyes, they heard a weak voice say, "Rin.. Kakashi.. Senshi.. You all... okay?" When they looked where the voice came from, they shouted, "OBITO!!", because Obito was half crushed under a large boulder. Senshi said, "N-no-NOO!", then he joined Kakashi and they both ran to the boulder and tried to lift it and get Obito free. As they were trying, Obito weakly said, "Don't.. Kakashi.. Senshi.. It's okay. I.. don't think I can make it. My right side is pretty much gone.. I don't.. I don't even feel anything." Senshi punched the wall, tears forming in his eyes, as he shouted, "FUCK! Goddamnit! Why?! Why did this have to happen!? Why to you, of all people!? I should be the one to die here, not you!", before he fell to his knees, tears flowing freely, whispering, "Why? Why? Why?" The team watched in grief as their leader broke down, showing his true emotions. As Senshi shouted, "WHY?!", suddenly, to the shock of everyone, a shockwave burst from him, and a large chunk of chakra was funneled into his eyes. Suddenly, the tomoe began blurring and spinning, and once they stopped, a new pattern emerged. The center was still a black dot, but instead of tomoe surrounding the dot, there were 3 shortened tomoe at the northwest, northeast and south places of the eye forming a circle. Senshi had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Senshi said, "I.. failed you, Obito. F-fo-forgive me.", then Obito said, "Don't.. blame yourself. I-i chose.. to do this. Forgive.. me.", before putting on a shit-eating grin and saying, "Aren't *cough* ninja not.. supposed.. to cry?", causing Senshi to chuckle before sobbing some more. Rin then said, "No.. Not like this.. Why..", then Obito coughed up blood, and Kakashi slammed his fist against the ground and shouted, "This can't be!", then he continued to say, "If only I'd come.. If only I'd come with you two like both of you told me to.. This never would've happened! So what I made jonin!", then Obito said, "Kakashi.. I'd completely forgotten.. I was the only one.. who didn't.. give you a gift.. I didn't know.. what was proper.. but.. I do now.. You.. see.. It won't be useless.. I'm.. giving you my.. Sharingan.", then upon hearing this, they were all shocked, and Obito continued, "Whatever the.. the village.. may say.. you are.. a great jonin.. I want you.. to know that.. please accept..", then he turned to Rin and addressed her, saying, "Rin.. use your medical ninjutsu.. and have my Sharingan.. the whole left eye.. trans.. transplanted.. to Kakashi..", then Rin turned to Kakashi and said, "Kakashi, come here. I'll do it now!", then Obito said, "I'm about to.. die. But I'll.. become your eye.. and we'll see what happens.. in the future.."

## A Few Minutes Later ##

After a few minutes, Rin had finished the eye transplant and Kakashi, along with Senshi, burst from the rubble and found the Iwa shinobi still there, and the Iwa-nin said, "You two still around? Oh just die already.", then tears came from Kakashi's Sharingan eye and from Senshi's eyes, and the Iwa-nin taunted, "Ha.. you are just kids. Shinobi don't cry, you know. Bring it on, crybaby! I'll finish you off here and now.", then both Senshi and Kakashi opened their eyes, Kakashi revealing his new Sharingan and Senshi revealing his Mangekyo. Obito said, "Kakashi.. Look after Rin.. for me..", then Kakashi drew his White Light Chakra Sabre and said, "Don't worry..", but Senshi put his arm blocking Kakashi from moving forward. Senshi then turned to Kakashi and said, "Let me get revenge.", and Kakashi nodded, then they heard the Iwa-nin laughing, then the Iwa-nin asked, "You think you can beat me? HAHAHA.. You're as dumb as a log!", then Senshi just stepped forward and said a few chilling words in an apathetic voice, "You know, we may be just kids who wear our emotions on our sleeves, but don't underestimate us. You doomed our friend to die. This is just quid pro quo. Now let me show you, why the Uchiha name..", before he closed his eyes. He opened his left eye, now with an activated Mangekyo, before finishing, "Is known across the elemental nations! Amaterasu!", then as his eye began to bleed like how tears trickle, Senshi looked at the Iwa-nin with his left eye and, to the shock of everyone, the Iwa-nin was engulfed by black flames, which slowly began burning away at the Iwa-nin. Senshi closed his left eye, reopened his right eye and held his bleeding left eye in his hand. Senshi then wiped away the blood and reopened his other eye, then he saw the burning Iwa-nin and smiled. Senshi then pulled out a kunai from his belt and prepared to throw it, but then he had a better idea on how to torment the Iwa-nin for dooming Obito to die. He pulled out a long chain from one of his storage seals on his gauntlets and clipped the kunai ring to the chain, then tossed it with his left hand like it was a rope dart. Senshi had trained extensively in bukijutsu (tool usage) and so knew how to handle chain weapons in a fight and how to create makeshift weapons on the go, and now he was applying his skills. The kunai on the chain impaled the burning Iwa-nin in the chest making him cough up blood, then in a demonic-sounding voice, Senshi shouted, "Get over here!", then held on to the chain with both hands and yanked with all the might he had, pulling the Iwa-nin through the air toward him. Senshi then let go of the chain, held on to the sheath with his left hand and prepared to quickdraw it with his right. When the barely living Iwa-nin was just a few feet away, Senshi rushed toward the Iwa-nin, and when they were near each other, Senshi drew his sword and decapitated the Iwa-nin faster than Kakashi and Rin could blink. When the Iwa-nin's body hit the ground, Senshi looked toward the headless body and formed the half Ram seal in front of his left eye, then he said, "Enton: Kagutsuchi (Inferno Style: Flame Control)!", and the flames on the body went out. Senshi pulled out his makeshift chain dart, put it on his belt before deactivating his Mangekyo, turning around and going to the pit, before staying beside Kakashi facing Obito and Rin, ignoring Kakashi's jaw mopping the floor. They all looked to Obito, who said, "Kakashi.. Senshi.. Take Rin.. and go.. leave here.. reinforcements.. coming.." Senshi let his tears fall before saying an old ancient blessing for the soul, "Anata No Tamashī Ga Yasuragi O Mitsukete Kuremasu Ka (May your soul find solace, my friend)."then Rin held Obito's hand saying, "Obito..", then Obito let Rin's hand go and said, "It's okay! Just go..", then Kakashi held his hand to help Rin get out while saying, "Rin..", then Senshi said, "Rin, we have to go!", as more Iwagakure shinobi surrounded them and shouted, "Earth Style: Retsudo Tenshō (Tearing Earth Turning Palm)!", before slamming the ground and causing the ground to shake and the earth to break. Kakashi shouted, "Rin! Take my hand, now!!", then Senshi said, "This place is collapsing! We have to get out, NOW!", then Obito said, "Rin..", then Kakashi pulled Rin out as she shouted, "Obito!!" They got out of the cave and into the forest, where they were surrounded by Iwagakure ninja. Senshi turned to Kakashi and Rin and told them, "Guys, leave. I'll hold them off and catch up with you.", then they refused, then as the Iwa ninja leaped towards them, Senshi said, "At least move away!", and they did so, moving to another branch. As the Iwa ninja landed, Senshi did a quadruple backflip and landed on another branch, away from them, before drawing his sword, forming a half Ram seal and shouting, "Lightning Style: Raikiri Denryu/Nagashi (Lightning Blade Current)!", then swinging his sword out, which was then surrounded in blue electricity. He then flashed in front of an Iwa shinobi and swung his electrified sword at the ninja, forcing the ninja to block with a kunai. As the two were clashing, Senshi noticed another ninja coming for him, so he broke the clash and backed off, before clashing with the other ninja. Using the lightning-infused blade, he quickly cut through the kunai of the other ninja before kicking the ninja back into the group and backflipping away from the group to another branch, while Kakashi and Rin were watching from a nearby tree. Senshi then pulled out a steel weight, clipped it to the other end of the chain dart and began spinning the chain weight above his head. He then tossed it just like a rope dart straight at the group, which was on the tree where they landed, and the weight hit one of the Iwa-nin in the forehead, knocking him out and making a cracking sound as the frontal bone of the skull broke, causing Rin and Kakashi to cringe, then as the bruised and unconscious Iwa-nin fell, one of his teammates caught him, and they all looked at Senshi, shocked that a 14 year old boy could knock out an older jonin in one strike. Senshi then pulled the chain back and prepared to use it as a chain dart, and when the Iwagakure group saw Senshi ready to spear the unconscious ninja, one of them leapt in front, weaved hand seals and shouted, "Tiger -> Hare -> Boar -> Dog! Earth Style: Doryūheki (Earth-Style/Mud Wall)!", before spitting out an earthen material and creating a big rock wall as Senshi tossed his chain dart. Senshi's chain dart hit the wall and impaled itself into the rock. Senshi then had an idea, and began channeling chakra into the chain, then he formed a half Ram seal and shouted, "Lightning Style: Dodentai (Electric Conductor)!", before cracking the chain like a whip and sending a pulse of electricity down the chain, and when the electric pulse went into the rock wall, the wall exploded, creating a shockwave and sending rock shrapnel everywhere. Senshi pulled back the chain dart, and when the dust cleared, Senshi saw all the Iwa-nin on their butts because of the shockwave. Senshi then flung his chain dart at the now conscious Iwa-nin whose skull Senshi had broken, and the kunai on the chain impaled itself in the ninja's chest, causing the shinobi to cough up blood, and causing the others to look at Senshi. Senshi then shouted, "Get over here! Yeet!", then yanked on the chain dart with his right hand, causing the speared Iwa-nin to be pulled through the air straight toward Senshi. As the Iwa-nin was coming closer to Senshi, Senshi formed a half Ram seal and shouted, "Lightning Style: Raikiri Shotosodo (Lightning Blade Shortsword)!", before forming a long sky-blue electric blade in his left hand and when the Iwa-nin was almost right in front of Senshi, Senshi skewered the ninja with his Lightning Blade, killing the ninja. Senshi then took out the chain dart and the Lightning Blade from the body and letting the body drop. Rin and Kakashi were shocked at Senshi's actions, and the leader of the group told Senshi, "You're dead now, boy! I'll kill you myself.", then Senshi replied, "Take your shot." All of the Iwa-nin went for Senshi, and Senshi used his chain kunai to block the kunai of one of the Iwa shinobi. Senshi then leaped back, put the chain kunai back into his belt, weaved seals and shouted, "Rat -> Tiger! Fire Style: Idaina Zukokku (Great Cranium Carver)!", before spewing a medium-sized fast-moving fireball toward the Iwa-nin group, who dodged it. But when it hit the ground, it erupted into a firestorm, forcing the group to move to a different tree branch. Senshi then landed on a tree branch and then the Iwa-nin rushed toward him. Most of them surrounded Senshi, but one went straight for Rin. Senshi shouted, "KAKA-", but he was cut short when Kakashi appeared in front of Rin, while holding the chokuto that Senshi gave him, and impaled the Iwa-nin with the chokuto, killing the Iwa-nin. Senshi then breathed a sigh of relief and then turned his attention back to the ninja around him. Senshi made a subconscious tally on the ninja, and he thought, "Okay, there were six in the beginning, then I killed one, Kakashi killed another and there are three around me right now, so that's five accounted for. But, where's the last one?", then Senshi drew his sword and prepared to fight, then he suddenly saw a ninja rushing toward him from behind in the blade's reflection. Senshi turned and swung his sword, cutting the attacker's chest and making a large bleeding gash in the attacker's chest. The attacker fell to his knees and Senshi said, "Nighty-night..", then Senshi decapitated the wounded Iwa-nin, and the body fell at Senshi's feet. Senshi then turned to the other two ninja who were shivering. Senshi put back his sword into the sheath, pulled out his chain weighted kunai and got ready to fight. Both of them rushed at the same time and Senshi spun the weight around his head, and once one of them got close, Senshi swung the weight at the attacker and hit the attacker in the skull, shattering the Iwa-nin's temple bone, causing calcium bone shrapnel and knocking the attacker flying. The other attacker wisely stayed just out of chainweight range, so Senshi switched it to the chain kunai, then he flung it with his left hand at the last ninja, who got impaled by the kunai and coughed up blood. Senshi then shouted, "GET OVER HERE!", before yanking on the chain and pulling the impaled ninja through the air to him. While the Iwa-nin was still hurtling toward Senshi, Senshi formed a Rasengan with his right hand then infused it with Wind Style blades, making it look like a spinning circular saw blade with a Rasengan for a center, then Senshi shouted, "Wind Style: Marunoko Rasengan (Circular Saw Spiraling Sphere)!", and once the Iwa-nin was in front of Senshi, Senshi slammed the Marunoko Rasengan right into the Iwa ninja, who was propelled away by the Rasengan so fast, the chain kunai literally came out of the ninja's chest. When both the Rasengan and the Iwa-nin went flying and hit another tree branch, the Marunoko Rasengan exploded and created a wind vortex which cut up both the tree branch and the unfortunate Iwa ninja at the molecular level. When the vortex cleared, there was a large crater in the tree branch and in the middle, a cut-up bloody body. Rin and Kakashi were shocked by the level of skill Senshi had shown in the battle. Senshi turned his head to look at them and smiled and they smiled back. Suddenly, Senshi felt a pain in his chest and a blade suddenly emerged from a large wound through his chest. He had been stabbed in the back with a sword that had also pierced through his chest. Rin shouted, "NOO!", and Kakashi said, "Shit!", as the Iwa leader said from behind Senshi, "I told you I would kill you myself.", then blood trickled from Senshi's mouth. Suddenly, a SHLUK sound could be heard, and the grip on the sword that had impaled Senshi released its hold. Senshi, badly injured, turned around and saw the Iwa leader with Kakashi's White Light Chakra Sabre piercing his side. Senshi said, tired and fatigued, "I'll *pant* finish this.", before channeling chakra in his fists and rushing toward the leader. He then punched the leader in the stomach with his left hand, then he hit the leader with an chakra-infused uppercut to the chin, flattening the jaw, then he shouted, "Idaina Josho no Ken (Great Rising Fist)!", and he followed through with the uppercut, decapitating the Iwa leader with the force of the uppercut. When he landed, he turned to face Rin and Kakashi, who were shocked at the finisher. Senshi suddenly felt the heavy hand of fatigue and unconsciousness grip him, and he said, "Throw.. the.. ku.. nai.. that Mina.. to-.. sensei.. gave y-you.", then he blacked out and hit the ground. When he woke up, he realized that he was on a boulder near a tree while looking up at the night sky. He felt something wrapped around his chest, and he put his hand to his chest and realized the thing wrapped around his chest was a big bandage with a bloodstain where he got stabbed, while he was still wearing his jacket. Minato said, "Hm.. You're awake..", then Senshi said, "Minato-sensei! Umm.. where is my armor?", then Minato pointed at the base of the tree near the boulder, and Senshi looked that way and saw his Senju armor with a pierce wound where Senshi had gotten stabbed, but he also saw his white shirt, also with a pierce wound and with bloodstains. He then turned to Minato and asked, "Minato-sensei, why is my chest wrapped in a bandage?", then Minato said, "You got stabbed through the heart. We were worried you wouldn't make it.", then Senshi, in disbelief, asked, "Say what now? The heart?!", then Minato said, "I understand your shock. We were surprised too. People who are stabbed in the heart usually die quick. The fact that you're alive is either a miracle, or something.. powerful..", and Senshi thought, "Hagoromo was right, I can take stabs through the heart.", then Senshi realized something and stood straight up before asking, "What about Rin and Kakashi?! Where are they!?", then Minato pointed to the plain where Kakashi was sitting and Rin was standing, and they were both looking up at the night sky. Minato then said, "I'm sorry I couldn't make it in time, Senshi.. They told me everything..", but he was startled by Senshi punching the rock multiple times, not giving any shits about the fact that his knuckles were bleeding and cracked. Minato tried to ask, "Senshi, what's-", but was cut off by Senshi shouting, "Goddamnit! If only I put Flying Raijin on Obito, NONE OF THIS WOULD'VE HAPPENED!", and then Senshi let loose the most hair-raising, earbreaking cry ever heard, "GRRAAAHHH!", which startled and shook Minato to his core. Rin and Kakashi heard the cry and ran toward the source, only to find Senshi sobbing. Knowing instinctively what to do, they comforted Senshi, who held on to them like they were his lifelines. Minato never felt more useless, because he didn't even know how to comfort his own student.

They completed the mission and destroyed the Kannabi Bridge with Minato-sensei's help, but this brought them no satisfaction. Since that mission, Senshi became an S-Rank shinobi with a bounty of 1,250,000 ryo and a new moniker, the Bloody Flash or Chimamire no Senko. This did not bring him any satisfaction. Senshi saw Obito's name carved into the Memorial Stone and this reminded him further of his failure to save Obito. He slowly began falling into a depressed state, and Senshi's friends and mentor tried to pull him out of the well of depression, but he only fell deeper. It all culminated into an event that changed Senshi's life forever.
