Finishing the elders

"What is this kid made of?" the 3d elder muttered as he saw Yami standing there unscathed. He looked at his brother to decide what they were going to do next.

The 1st elder shook his head and said "This kid is not normal...the Uchiha clan was strong but not this much...We need to leave now."

The elder then turned around and started running in the opposite direction of Yami. The 7th elder was now sitting on the ground in a half-dead state. "W-What is h-he doing?". The most he could do was raise an arm as if trying to reach out to the elder.

The 3rd elder looked at his brother and then back at Yami...He didn't take time to decide what he must do and quickly followed his brother. The 7th elder and the 2 shinobis with him didn't know what to do since the elders they were depending on had forsaken them at such a time.

"P-Please don't k-kill me." one of the shinobis pleaded. Yami didn't want to waste more time on this than it was necessary so he looked around and found the corpse of the shinobi whose skull he had pierced with the short sword. He walked toward the shinobi and pulled out the shortsword and without saying a word behead the two shinobis.

He walked and stood in front of the 7th elder and saw that he was now at death's door. Yami brought his sword closer to the elder's neck but then decided to leave the man to his fate. He then looked in the direction in which the 1st and 3rd elders ran and decided to follow them.

Both the elders with an oil lamps in their hands continued running without looking back. "Keep running don't stop. We will take our revenge on him and his clan after we get out of this cave." the 1st elder said.

"You two thinking of going somewhere?" a sound fell on the brothers' years not once but twice.

The 1st elder stopped running immediately and held his lamp in front of him and heard footsteps coming toward him. Within seconds the footsteps came so close that Yami appeared in the light of the oil lamp.

"H-How is this possible? We left you behind." the 1st elder asked. Just as he was about to ask more, he heard his brother's voice "Brother the kid is here in front of me."

The 1st elder got confused as he heard that and looked back to see his brother holding a lamp behind him and besides the lamp was Yami standing.

"Is he using a clone? I can understand that he caught up with me here but how is he there with you?" the 3rd elder asked.

The 1st elder didn't know what to say because he had the same question. But just then he felt tightness in his chest. He looked down and saw Yami's hand on his shoulder while the other hand pierced inside his chest.

The 1st elder tried to move back but the hand on his shoulder didn't let him budge a single inch.

"B-brother s-save me" a low voice came from behind and when he looked back, he saw that his brother was being killed the same way.

"E-Even after running s-so much h-how did you catch up to m-me?" the 1st elder asked. He wanted to ask if Yami had made this provision beforehand or if there was some kind of shortcut to surpass sections of the cave.

Both the Yamis chuckled at the same time and said "You never ran...you're still here."

Just as both the elders were confused and wanted to ask what he meant, they saw the scenery change...not by much but with the 2 elders facing each other and Yami standing in the middle. The 2 elders looked around and saw the 7th elder sitting on the ground in a pool of blood dead with his eyes open and the other shinobis slaughtered nearby as well.

The eyes of both the elders widened as they saw this. They realized what had happened...They never ran...It was just a genjutsu.

"W-We never s-stood a chance." the 1st elder said and then his lifeless body fell on the ground. Yami then looked at the 3rd elder who also gave up on his life seeing his brother die.

Yami looked at his clothes which now had blood all over them. He wiped his bloody hands on them and muttered "Some merchandise got damaged due to the lightning strikes. I shouldn't have used it. What a waste."

Yami then started collecting the resources that each of them had. Obviously, the 3 elders had the most of it. He also plucked their eyes and stored them in a storage scroll. He didn't have any kind of jar prepared to store the eyes and he didn't have to because it wasn't going to be stored for long.

Yami then started devouring the shinobis that were there. Even though most were just weaklings, some extra power is always welcome. devouring the 1st and 3rd elder did give him the feeling of being strengthened.

After doing all that, he used a fireball jutsu inside the cave to burn any sign of a fight or who it happened between. He didn't want to expose what happened here in case someone from the Chinoike clan wanders into this cave and started putting 2 and 2 together.

After Yami finished erasing any evidence of what happened and between who, he approached the fallen rocks that he had blasted with the paper bombs. As he stood in front of the wall of rocks, he looked at his palm and soon wind chakra started gathering on it. Within seconds, it formed into a ball of wind chakra rotating amongst itself.

Rasengan

Yami murmured and smashed the jutsu on the rocks. With tremendous force, the rocks and other debris got blasted away clearing his way back toward the forbidden part of the forest.

Shiro, Sumi, and the 2nd elder who had been standing outside the cave's entrance heard the loud boom.

"What the hell was that?" Shiro asked as he looked at the entrance of the cave.

"Has the cave collapsed entirely?" Sumi asked but before the 2nd elder could say anything they heard footsteps from the cave.

"Looks like the exploration team is coming back due to the collapse of the cave." Shiro said but then Sumi interrupted and said "But I only hear one person's footsteps."

That's when they saw Yami come off the cave. At first, they were confused as to why Yami had appeared but then they looked at his clothes which were stained with blood.

"I didn't believe when the clan leader told me but you really managed to pull it off." the 2nd elder said.

"What is going on here?" Sumi asked as she looked at Yami and then at the 2nd elder.

"Why are these two here? I don't want there to be more witnesses than necessary."Yami said as he looked at the two of them.

The 2nd elder walked in front of the couple and said " You don't need to worry about them. The clan leader and I guarantee that they will keep their lips tightly shut."

"The clan leader? Are you saying that he is the one who the clan leader met? What did you do with the exploration team?" Shiro asked.

"This isn't the right time or place to talk about this. We will talk about this later." the 2nd elder said to which the couple just nodded. Shiro might be an elder himself but he wouldn't dare cross the 2nd elder's word and he knew how scary Yami was. And also the 2nd elder was already warned by the clan leader that Yami was unpredictable and could do anything to keep his involvement in this matter a secret.

Yami pulled out a few scrolls and tossed it toward the 2nd elder. "These are the resources that the team had. Some of them were given by the clan leaders and some must be their own. I will take my leave now."

The 2nd elder pocketed the scrolls and said "Stop...are you leaving right away in the middle of the night? Will you not meet the clan leader?"

"No...my work here is done. I have other things to do in the outside world as well." Yami said.

"How do we contact you?" the 2nd elder asked. He wanted to make sure that Yami fulfils his end of the bargain.

"You don't...I will contact the clan leader when I feel the time is right...I could be a week or a month or more than that." Yami said and body flickered away.

Sumi sighed seeing Yami leave and said "The kid really is scary. I couldn't even breathe freely when he was in front of me."

"2nd elder, what is this deal the clan leader has made...and will the kid really contact us?" Shiro asked. He wasn't stupid enough to trust Yami just because he didn't kill Shiro.

"I wasn't sure if he would keep his word before but he has no reason to lie now that he has want he wants. What scares me is the thought of why he wants it."

"Huh? What did he want?" Sumi asked.
