18 [Chapter 18] Meeting Itachi Uchiha!

A few days later,

"Finally the Rasengan is completed hehe", said Ryo with excitement as he had a sphere with concentrated Chakra on his palm.

He vanished from his spot, appeared in front of a tree and smashed the Rasengan on the trunk of the tree.

The trunk instantly got destroyed and the tree collapsed.

'The area of the damage is small but the concentration of power is very great.

Unfortunately if I use this jutsu in front of others or I will be a goner, it is only known by Minato, Jiraya, Kakashi and maybe Naruto currently.

It is thanks to Jiraya's teaching method in the anime that I was able to learn it so fast, without the method, it would have been hard to learn this jutsu', thought Ryo.

After a while Ryo started practicing kenjutsu and just when he was about to take a break, he heard a voice,

"Good morning Ryo, I see you are training as always", said Shisui.

"Good morning Sensei", replied Ryo with a smile, putting his sword in the scabbard.

"Till now, you have only had a spar with me and the Hokage so it would be better for you if you find another sparring partner for more experience and I have the right person. If you want to, you can refuse", said Shisui.

"Sensei you know that I don't want to show myself just yet right", said Ryo.

"Don't worry, the person I am talking about is very trustworthy and he is also my best friend so what do you say?" asked Shisui.

'Oh my God! He is talking about Itachi! If I spar with him I can improve a lot, what should I do....' thought Ryo.

After a few moments,

"I agree Sensei, so when are we going to meet?" asked Ryo.

"How about tomorrow morning? I will take you to the sparring location", said Shisui.

"Ok Sensei", said Ryo.

As Shisui left, Ryo thought,

'Perfect test subject for the new jutsu hehe.... I still have to practice wind jutsu if I want to combine it with lightning, I hope it works tomorrow.'

The next day,

"Sensei where are we going?" asked Ryo.

"We are going to the place where you and Hokage Sama had a spar, Hokage Sama will also be there too", replied Shisui with a smile.

"Hmm.... that is really a good spot for sparing", said Ryo.

"Yeah, but unfortunately you cannot use it whenever you want, Hokage Sama told everyone that he was going to have a spar with Itachi so as not to arouse any suspicion and he cannot do that everyday. As they reached the sparring location, Ryo saw Itachi and Minato talking. His gaze fell on Itachi, who had a mysterious air around him.

"Good morning Hokage Sama, Good morning Itachi", Shisui said as he greeted them.

"Good morning", replied both Minato and Itachi.

"Ryo, this is Itachi Uchiha, a member of the anbu and my best friend and Itachi this is Ryo Inoue, my one and only student", Shisui introduced Ryo to Itachi and vice versa.

Seeing such a young boy, Itachi was shocked but didn't show it.

"Nice to meet you", said Ryo a little uncomfortably.

"Nice to meet you", replied Itachi with no expression.

Seeing that Ryo was a little uncomfortable, Minato said,

"Haha, don't worry Ryo, Itachi is always like this, after you get to know him you will see how kind he is."

"Now let's get on with the spar", said Minato.

Ryo removed the weights from his legs.

Itachi had the same expression as Minato when he experienced it for the first time.

Ryo then switched to his lightning mode, shocking Itachi even more.

'Isn't he only around Sauske's age... and how can he control lightning to such a high degree...', thought Itachi with shock.

Wasting no time, Itachi opened his Sharingan and shouted,

"Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!"

A big burst of fire spewed from Itachi's mouth and went towards Ryo.

As the fire was about to hit Ryo, he vanished from his spot and immediately appeared behind Itachi.

It was like he teleported.

Ryo concentrated his palm with more lightning and was about to hit Itachi's back when Itachi strode forward and avoided a direct hit by a very close margin.

Due to the pressure created by the palm strike, Itachi slid forward.

"No way! Is this...", said Minato in surprise.

"Hahaha... he perfected my body flicker jutsu, I knew he could do it."

Itachi unseathed his sword.

Seeing Itachi unseath his sword, Ryo did the same and coated it with lightning.

Itachi rushed towards Ryo with speed and so did Ryo.

They got engaged in a kenjutsu fight!

As they were fighting, Ryo countered many of Itachi's attacks and Itachi did the same.

After continuous moves, both Itachi and Ryo slid back.

'This better work', thought Ryo as he started to coat wind Chakra on his sword.

The lightning started to mix with wind.

As the elements started to combine, *rumble* sounds were emitted, the Lightning around the sword started amplifying, sparks were generated all around the field, the ground started to shake, the wind started flowing violently, visible cut marks appeared on trees, it was a spectacular sight!

'This is much more than I expected, I can't attack or God knows how much destruction it will cause!' thought Ryo.

"Did he just combine lightning and wind?!

This should not be possible without a kekei genkai!" exclaimed Minato.

"This will cause a disturbance in the village..... Ryo the spar is over", shouted Shisui.

Hearing this Ryo was startled and after a moment, switched his lightning mode off.

Itachi was equally surprised at how Ryo combined lightning and wind.

Shisui and Minato walked towards Ryo.

"Ryo, if you would have attacked then the impact would have caused a lot of destruction in the village", said Shisui.

"Ryo, how did you combine lightning and wind, you don't possess a keke genkai right?" asked Minato.

"My control over lightning helped me combine it with wind with ease", replied Ryo as he thought,

'What would have happened if I had used the full intensity of the lightning mode...'

"I have never heard someone combining two elements without a kekei genkai....." said Minato as he went into deep thought.

"Ryo make sure you keep this as your final attack and don't use it in a spar", said Shisui with a serious expression.

"Yes Sensei", replied Ryo.

While this conversation was going on, Itachi was standing on the side thinking,

'Sauske is no where near him.... even I would have to use my full strength to dodge if he had attacked and I am also sure he held back too...'

After a while,

"You did good Ryo, you are on par with Itachi", said Shisui with a smile.

'You say that but if he had used genjutsu or Susano....' thought Ryo.

"Thank you Sensei", Ryo replied.

Itachi came towards Ryo and said,

"That was a good spar, you are strong."

"Thank you and let's do this regularly", said Ryo with a smile.

To this, Itachi nodded.

"It's time for us to meet the prophesied summoner", said a figure.
