46 Ch 45 : Cn Sasuke Vs. Gaara (1)

In the battle arena, Sasuke was now standing with his usual duck butt hairstyle.

It had been just yesterday after Sasuke finished his training that Sanada decided to give Sasuke a special hair growing supplement as to not shame himself during the Chunin Exam.

However, his outfit style now had some change from how it originally was. He no longer used the black garment like in the anime, instead, he used a kimono, like in Shippuden with the difference being the red flame pattern on it.

"The second battle, Uchiha Sasuke Vs. Gaara, Commence!!"

The battle had begun, and the two immediately assumed battle posture.

Sasuke unsheathed Yubashiri and immediately entered his Total Concentration Breathing mode. He was not going to take the initiative because he knew that against Gaara, he had to be very careful, or else only his demise would be waiting for him.

Gaara, on the other hand, didn't wait and instead immediately emptied his sand gourd.

The sand transformed into a giant sand arm, and right after that, it attacked in Sasuke's direction.

An inexplicable sense of danger exuded from the sand, but Sasuke was still able to keep his calm.

"Hinokami Kagura: Enbu."

Hum!

Sasuke took the Yubashiri in his other hand and waved it forward.

Slash.

With the blazing flames on the sword, Sasuke successfully displayed the power of Hinokami Kagura in front of everyone present.

The flame aura that came from the combination of the Hinokami Kagura and his flame chakra manipulation clashed with the powerful sand arm.

BOOM!!!

The flames met Gaara's sand.

The two entangled each other for a short moment before Sasuke's slash overpowered Gaara's sand.

Everyone looked up in astonishment as they found that Gaara's sand arm, which had just been looking very intimidating had been dissolved so easily.

Had Sasuke dodged, it would be a whole another matter, but instead, Sasuke had directly clashed with it to then beat it.

Kakashi stared blankly at the scene in the battle arena.

It was completely different from what he had expected. He knew Sanada was good, but he never thought that in just one month, Sanada could polish Sasuke to be like this.

"So, is this all you have? I thought you were stronger than this, but it seems like that menacing look of yours is just for show?" Said Sasuke in an attempt to provoke Gaara.

Hearing Sasuke's sudden words, the sand trio felt as if they were dreaming.

Which crazy bastard would provoke Gaara like this? Did he have a death wish? They thought silently in their hearts.

On the other hand, Sasuke didn't care about what the audience thought about him. He saw that Gaara didn't respond to his provocation and an evil smile appeared on his face.

It seemed that the one-month training with Sanada was enough to change Sasuke's personality a bit.

"Don't be so tense; But I know that after this, you are gonna say that we cannot both live under the same sky, right? *Sigh* What a cliché third-rate villain."

Sasuke's voice echoed only to be welcomed by the silent, awkward atmosphere from the audience.

And other than Sanada who was currently trying his best to hold his laughter, everyone else seemed a bit lost with the words Sasuke spouted.

Sasuke took a deep breath, utilizing the total concentration breathing to his current limits, and began with flashing in Gaara's direction.

*Swoosh*

He appeared behind Gaara, thrusting his sword while whispering.

"You know what they say for people like you? Has eyes but fails to recognize Mount Tai. I think those words suit you very well right now."

Under the sunlight, Sasuke stabbed Gaara's figure but that soon turned into sand as it had been one of Gaara's sand clones.

The sand tried to counterattack Sasuke, but Sasuke easily avoided it.

It was up to the point where countless sand was surrounding Sasuke, but just with one slash and Sasuke escaped.

Gaara reappeared a few meters from Sasuke but his face now was far from calm.

A little brat whispering unrecognizable words while battling. Such a weird and vicious battle method; his teacher must be a very shameful one.

This guy doesn't even put him in his eyes.

Damn it.

Shame. That's what Gaara felt right now.

He wanted nothing more but to kill Sasuke in front of him and make his blood splatter everywhere.

He needs a bloody lesson.

"Mother-... I'll feed you some tasty blood.."

Gaara's expression turned scary as he whispered something about his mother.

Without wasting any more time, Gaara quickly controlled a huge amount of sand to rush at Sasuke, trying to instantly crush him under the sand.

" Mother? Do you mean Motherfucker? Well, you really have the face to do that.."

Sasuke glanced at the sand for a bit and sneered.

After all his training with Sanada, the way Sasuke treated Gaara now was nothing more than a paper tiger.

Sasuke vanished from his spot as he pumped chakra onto his feet appearing right next to Gaara at the very next moment ready to brandish his sword.

"!!!!"

Gaara's body cried out as if feeling the immediate danger.

The sand that had been sent out was recalled as it created a shield around Gaara.

However, Sasuke's slash was a bit too much to be blocked by the sand shield.

The blade just now was able to break through the sand shield and hit Gaara directly, blowing him away making him crash into the wall of the venue.

BAMMM!!!!

Gaara had lost in the two confrontations against Sasuke, but despite that, he wasn't particularly injured. The sand armor on his body was able to nullify the damage from Sasuke's attack.

Sasuke's smirk grew wider witnessing this. The last two attacks were enough to measure the distance between their strength, and now it was time to go for real.

Sasuke rushed at Gaara, and Gaara continuously used his sand to hinder Sasuke. That didn't help too much though because Sasuke was able to easily avoid them as he quickly closed in now only a few meters away from Gaara's location.

Clang!! Clang!! Clang!!

Flame and sand kept clashing with each other, but Sasuke was able to repel each and every one of Gaara's attempts to stop him.
