181 Ch 177 : Five Kage summit

Nonetheless, that was just a small episode prior to the five Kage meetings.

Now, Tsunade was pretty anxious. The geezers were on their way, and Sanada was not here. She, as the Hokage must display her might so that Konoha would not be underestimated.

After waiting for a few hours, a knock finally appeared in Tsunade's room.

" Hokage-Sama, the rest of the Kage has arrived."

" Good... lead me."

The time had finally come. Tsunade, followed by Kakashi, led by Shizune, and they went to the room where the other Kages were waiting.

In the evening, four Kages were currently sitting in Konoha's biggest meeting room. Most of them arrived 10 minutes early and took their seats, waiting for the remaining Kage to arrive.

On their sides were the ones appointed as their guardian. And just like the five Kage summits in the anime, all the people coming here were familiar faces.

The door opened as Tsunade revealed herself.

Here, she was in her Hokage garment and the drunk gambles old woman's posture was no longer to be seen.

" Sorry I'm a bit late." Tsunade said as she took a seat.

" It's okay. After all, women need some time preparing."

Mei Terumi the Mizukage replied. Obviously, she was on Konoha's side. The two women normally were rivals, but now they sat together and had a mutual agreement on how they should have dealt with these problematic matters.

After everyone arrived, the meeting officially began. The few topics mentioned were as boring as ever, with each Kages trying to probe each other and some trivial matters.

It was only after talking for over half an hour, that Gaara finally couldn't take it anymore.

" So, how long are we going to do this farce? I never thought you old guys were not able to see the bigger problem in front of our eyes."

As soon as he did, the situation in the room turned tense. It was obvious that the two geezers that Gaara directly mentioned were fuming, but for some reason, Gaara could also see a killing intent from both Tsunade and Mei Terumi when he said the words "old".

" *Cough* I'm sorry if my words offended some of you, but I could no longer spend wasteful time here. While we were here dawdling around, the Opponent might already have a bigger plan for the whole ninja world."

Now the tense atmosphere was relieved a bit much to Gaara's relief. After a few minutes of silence, it was finally the right time for Tsunade to explain the real problem on their hands.

Gaara and Mei Terumi both looked at Tsunade, to which she responded with a nod.

" Then, since everyone is ready. Let me explain some major information that we had recently got our hands into."

Tsunade described to everyone some of the events that Sanada had told her and then mentioned that if they didn't take this thing seriously and joined hands, the ninja world might really meet its demise.

After all, the enemy this time was no other than Uchiha Madara, and Senju Hashirama was no longer here to contain him.

"Hokage.. are you sure this information is true?" The Tsuchikage Onoki asked. His face was gloomy.

Uchiha Madara, he was on another level. Onoki still remembers the moment in his younger days when Madara easily took down the whole Iwagakure by himself.

As for Raikage, he hadn't seen the might of Uchiha Madara with his own eyes. But the legends of Uchiha Madara were widespread throughout the ninja world, and his face also became as gloomy as Onoki.

To him, the Hachibi Jinchuriki was like his brother, and he definitely wouldn't let bee get taken by anyone.

Sitting not too far from them, each and every member of the Kages guard team also could feel the gloomy atmosphere. Nonetheless, all of them had the same response. They were waiting for Tsunade to give them solid proof.

Tsunade sighed helplessly. she took out a scroll and threw them in the direction of the other Kage.

" This was the result of our investigation these days. Among them, there was a high chance that Uchiha Madara has been revived. Some of the information might be hard to believe, but if that's the case, I want you to believe in the man providing this information."

Everybody seemed to be still a bit shocked by this revelation, but when they saw the author of these scrolls, a frown seemed to appear on their faces.

" Kaedehara Sanada..."

Right, it was the Sanada that we all love and know. The past two years when he was outside, Sanada had made his name renowned in the ninja world, and if it was him, then the chance of things being real was pretty high.

But then there comes a problem. If Madara Uchiha was really resurrected, then who would hold him down?

The Akatsuki force that had some S-raked ninjas was already tough enough. Adding Madara Uchiha to that list, would they possess the power to even do a confrontation?

Here, almost everyone had that gloomy look, but not long after, the door was suddenly knocked open, and a figure revealed himself.

" If it was about Uchiha Madara, then I'll be the one to hold him by myself!"
