24 Chapter 24: Classmates

Tsunade and Sakumo made their way to the classroom known as 1A since that was where they were told to go.

They arrived at the classroom and opened the door, only for Tsunade to be surprised when looking into it.

'There is Orochimaru and Dan. So they both are in my class huh, well I guess I'll try to make friends with them later.'

She then took a seat in that back row while Sakumo sat to her left. She then finally noticed their sensei as he sat behind his desk without getting up.

He was a tall, large man with dark brown hair, that had a few grey strands, and black eyes. While he didn't seem strict, he didn't seem to be a pushover either as he had a large vertical scar over his eye.

"Good morning to all of you, my name is Yoma Mitogami. I'm a former Jonin and a shinobi with a plethora of battle experience. I will be your teacher for the next few years. I expect you all to be here on time every day. Now I will begin calling rol-"

But before Yoma-sensei could continue, the door to the classroom burst open as a kid the same age as Tsunade stood in the doorway while panting heavily.

The kid had white hair and long red streaks on his face, and also wore a blue kimono.

The kid quickly spoke out an apology as he said "Sorry sensei, my alarm didn't go off this morning so I overslept"

However, Yoma-sensei didn't seem to care much as he said "I'll allow the mistake to be made since today was only the first day and I only planned on doing introductions and orientation today, but next time I'll send you right back home."

The kid simply swallowed and nodded as he went towards the chair beside Tsunade and sat down.

Tsunade simply stared at the boy as she thought to herself 'So this is Jiraiya? Doesn't have the flare and intimidating aura that his future counterpart has, but then again I don't either.'

She then turned towards him and saw him staring directly at her. 'Might as well try to make friends with him, especially since he might be my future teammate.'

"Hi, Nice to meet you. I'm Tsunade, what's your name?"

Jiraiya seemed to be surprised by her speaking to him, after which he gained a blush on his face, however, he quickly spoke "I'm the one who will make all ladies swoon in the future, the one who will surpass even the God of Shinobi, I am the great... JIRAIYA!!!!!"

Tsunade seemed to stare at him like a fool for a few seconds as even she had to comprehend his shamelessness. 'So this idiot was always like this. And I see he didn't introduce himself as a sage, though it makes sense since I don't think he gained the toad summoning until he was a genin.'

"I'm now going to do the roll call, say your name once you hear it." said Yoma.

Tsunade then quickly scanned around the room, with her only now noticing the small number of students in the classroom.

"Orochimaru."

"I'm here senssei." hissed the pale-skinned boy.

"Sakumo Hatake."

"Here." said Tsunade's new silver-haired friend.

"Tsunade Senju."

"I'm Here." said our protagonist.

"Inoka Yamanaka."

"Right Here." said a boy with dirty blonde colored hair.

"Choma Akimichi."

" *Munch* *Munch* Here" said a large kid who was eating a bag of chips.

"Shikai Nara."

"Here." came a muffled voice since his head was lying on his desk.

"Dan Kato."

"Here sensei." a boy with light blue hair spoke.

"Kenta Uchiha."

"Hn." the boy with raven black hair grunted.

"Himichi Hyuga."

"Hai." said a boy who wore a hachimaki over his forehead while glaring at the Uchiha.

"Might Duy."

"HAI SENSEI" exclaimed a boy with a bowl-cut styled hair, who wore clothes that made it so that if you looked too long you would grow nauseous.

"Akari Sarutobi."

"Here." softly spoke the brown-haired girl.

"Hiruko."

"Here sensei." said a boy with white hair and red eyes.

"Shiro Aburame."

"Here sensei." quietly spoke the boy who wore a large trench coat that covered his mouth.

"Shiniku Yuhi."

"Here." spoke a red-eyed boy.

"And Jirayia"

"Here." Jiraiya spoke.

"Ok, now we will begin going over the introductions of the different topics we will be going over this year, pay attention or you'll be left behind." Yoma said before beginning their first lesson at the Academy.
