1 Void

Darkness, all I saw was darkness, pitch black, the void itself swirling around me, a moment later I realized "who am I and where am I?"

As if on cue a light appeared in the dark, shining my eyes and grabbing my attention

"My dear, as cliche as it sounds you're dead"

"If I am dead, does this mean I'm getting my soul reincarnated or do I get purified into nothingness?"

"Yes and No, but the choice is yours My dear"

Out of curiosity i asked "May I know who you are?"

"I am who you think I am, the nothing, the void, The will, you can call me anything my dear, but above all I am one of the many Goddess that do this stuff"

Shocked as any of sane human being I asked "Does this mean the Multiverse is real?"

"Yes and No again my dear, as much as I love the idea of it I'm quite tired of it, you're not the first one to have the idea of it", I sighed out of frustration as closet weeb I would have wished for it to happen to me also

"Worry not my dear, I can hear your thoughts and emotions, so which will it be? Traveling back in time to your earth or going to one of your favorite worlds?"

I was excited getting the first-hand experience of all the Novels I've read, and wanting to do better than most beta characters or those who had the potential but didn't use it, before I answered her, A question hit me again.

Finally a request got through, before I could finish I remembered, "What timeline do I get to be reborn in?"

As I was conversing, I felt proud that I did not get swindled by this Goddess or is it just me or this Goddess is just that bored.

After that conversation I blacked out and saw nothing again

As the Gods were conversing meanwhile Ryu

"Where Am I? Why is it black again? Am i hearing screams?"

Before I could think properly I saw lights that blinded me again.

"Hurry! The delivery is done lets get out"

"Wait my child!"

"Bring the Child and Akemi! You hold on Akemi, once we're on the evacuation site we'll finish it properly" said the Doctor as we were rushed out of a bed, I guess Chakra does wonders huh.

"So my Mom's name is Akemi?"

I cried since I was still a baby I saw nurses and doctors rushing and helping my mother evacuate

Finally! I can start my Ninja life! but I hope

to survive the night

"Calm down dear, Mommy is here" Akemi cried not knowing what tonight would bring

"Mom is beautiful" she has white hair and beautiful green eyes, guess Invidia-san did it huh?

"Shh everything is all right Ryu" she said while putting me to sleep, "It's all right mom won't leave you alone"

I cried aloud at first but after awhile she calmed me down despite all the chaos around

"So this is what parental love feels like? I'll treasure my relationships in this world"

As I was in deep thought suddenly i heard

[Ding!]

[ Synchronizing with host ]

"WHAT! I DIDNT WISH FOR A SYSTEM!"

I hear that familiar voice and another seductive one

"Oh guess I'll take it back then"

"Ara-ara Invidia looks like he doesn't appreciate it"

"You're right Luxuria, i guess it was too much? All right guess I'll remove it then"

[ Ding ! ]

[ Uninstalling ! ]

"Wait!"

"Too late"

"Fufu you really should appreciate things boy before they're taken boy"

I blacked out again when I heard another explosion

"You really are cruel Invidia-fufu"

"I hope it serves him a lesson to appreciate things when they're given instead of whining around"
