Chapter 3: Magic

Catherine couldn't believe what the note had just told her. Not only did she die and was sent into the Shinobi World, but she was given the knowledge of one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.

While she didn't read many of the obscure comics like Doctor Strange, she knew who Agamotto was. Born from one of the original Elder Gods and taught magic by her, he later became the first Sorcerer Supreme of Earth and even joined the first iteration of the Avengers. He grew to later be powerful enough to even battle beings like Dormammu and Galactus on equal footing. He even created the Eye of Agamotto that she was given, an object that was called one of the most powerful artifacts in the Marvel Universe.

She had no doubt that if she understood the knowledge that belonged to him, then she would be able to become one of the most powerful beings in the Naruto universe, and that's including the Otsutsuki.

And that's not even mentioning the Time Stone which is one of the singularities of the universe. Even time manipulation on its own could be one of the most terrifying powers in the world, not to mention the Stone which practically has full control over time. While her Time Stone currently doesn't have any abilities other than being able to slightly see the future, if she is able to comprehend time to a higher extent, she could become an astronomically powered being, with her being able to trump anyone that is affected by time.

She was broken out of her thoughts as she remembered the words on the note, reminding her that just because she had Agamotto's knowledge and the Time Stone, it didn't make her powerful. Instead, it would be up to her to learn and comprehend his knowledge while also studying the rules of time.

After making sure she had all the gifts of whatever the being had given her, she sat in a meditation position to attempt to gain access to the library for the first time. She closed her eyes and tried her best to empty her mind.

When she opened her eyes again, she was no longer inside the forest but was instead inside a massive library that was full of knowledge. She then grabbed one of the books off of one of the shelves, however, she was unable to understand anything that the book spoke of. It wasn't just because the book was in a different language since she couldn't even understand the few parts that were in English.

She decided to look for a book that would aid her at the beginning of her studies, but before she could move, a book flew in front of her and turned to show its title "Magic For Dummies"

She could only deadpan before opening the boom to read the first page

"Magic is the practice of utilizing certain universal energies and extra-dimensional forces whose nature is beyond the scope of the technologically-oriented science of all known sentient races. Using spells and phrases it is often used to simulate other powers, such as reality warping, mind control, and elemental attacks.

The sources of magical power that you can use can come in four types:

Personal Energies - The mental and spiritual powers that mystics and sorcerers develop for themselves (psionic energy, chi manipulation, chakra, astral projection, thought-casting, etc.)

Ambient Magical Energy of the Universe - Magicians can tap this power for many effects, such as teleportation and energy bolts. These generally involve the actual casting of spells and may be limited to the main dimension learned and may not work in others.

Extradimensional Energy - powers gained through the tapping of extra-dimensional energy and by invoking entities or objects of power existing in mystical dimensions, with different physical and magical laws, tangential to our own. Unlike the first two, the entities invoked generally have a say in how or if the power is used.

Items - Magic may also come in the form of items imbued with power, such as the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. These are often created by powerful sorcerers and extradimensional entities and vary in function and power."

After starting Catherine delved deep into the realm of Magic as she began her studies.
