Sora the Shadow

Me and this girl, Sora, just stare at each other silently for a few minutes. I never expected to meet another just like me in this world. Judging by the level of her strength at the moment it's plausible that she didn't get much of a gift in her rebirth, or perhaps I'm not seeing anything yet. Still find it strange that she could sneak up on me when I had my scouter set to detect when others reached a certain distance. I should play this casually.

"So.... who might you be?" I ask with a straight face and she just tilts her head.

Sora: Scouter is cheating..... likely already shown you.... Uchiha, Sora Uchiha.

"Hehe.... You got me there. It did reveal your name and age. I had it set to warn me when others approach, so I'm surprised you caught me off guard.

Sora: Concealing my presence, I am good at.... Hyugas dislike it, sneak up and scare them all the time. Very fun.

"Hm..." If this girl is very good at hiding herself that even the almighty Byakugan has problems then perhaps she really did get something from her rebirth. "Sounds like a handy skill to have. Almost as cheating as me if you consider being a Saiyan cheating."

Sora: How so?

"Have you ever read or watched the Naruto series?"

Sora: One or two episodes. Preferred playing fighting games, watching kung-fu movies.

"Youch! That may be a problem in a few months.

Sora: Elaborate...

"Well." How should I explain this delicate matter to her. Ah forget it! Tell out right. "The Uchiha Clan will be massacred to the point that there will only a two known survivors. This is something that had happened in the series and you just so happened to be born in that very clan."

Sora: ... That's unfortunate. Must escape, hate to die without a fight! Who survived in the series?

"Itachi Uchiha who was the one who initiated the massacre upon being ordered to and his little brother Sasuke whom he had pleaded for his safety and survival."

Sora: .... Clan head's children? Unfair, will runaway that night, escape the massacre.

"Where will you run off to?"

Sora: Crash at your place I will. Hate clansmen adults, stuck up pricks. Too arrogant and dislikes me for some reason. Think it was about my dead parents.

"Why my place?"

Sora: Don't know anyone else.

"Sigh.... Lets think about something like that later. Why are you running around at night?"

She points at me.

Sora: Saw you and your mom in town. Followed you after seeing your tail, wanted conformation. Suspicions were proved when you fired Kamehameha Wave. Still cheating.

"You can hide your presence even from the Hyuga and you call me cheating? You could quietly slit all of their throats and no one would even notice. Did you check your abilities when you regained your memories?"

Sora: Check abilities? How?

It seems like she didn't.

"When you regained your memories did you have a device or something like my scouter?"

Sora: No.

It seems like her case is much different than mine is.

"Sigh... Lets see what I can get from a more detailed scan of you with the scouter." I activate the scouter and begin a more thorough scan the strange Uchiha girl before me. Who knows, I might discover more to her than even she knew herself. After a few minutes.

Ding~

I glance at the results and find a few very awesome abilities that she didn't even know she had. She did have her own advantages since her own rebirth but never had anything to tell what she had.

Presence Concealment: 80%.

Stealth: 60%.

Seal Breaker: 25%.

Lockpicking: 55%.

"How shit! Your skills are extremely suitable for the stealthy lifestyle of real ninjas!" Her skills are freaking deadly for ninjas. Not these city destroying, high profile ninjas in this world, but the stealthy, sneak in, kill, and escape silently kind from other kinds of mediums. I'd be too scared to make an enemy out of this girl, let she cuts me open in my sleep. She even had her Sharingan unlocked already free of charge.

Sora: My skills? What are my skills?

"Lets see.... Try channeling chakra into your eyes."

She nods and does as I say. By channeling chakra into her eyes it slowly changes into the red eyed bloodline limit the Uchiha Clan is known for. A circle around her pupils with but a single tomoe. Sora blinks her eyes a few times and looks around the area with interest.

Sora: Everything is clear, I can see bugs, their wings flapping slowly. Night has never been so clear.

"This is only the first stage of the Sharingan. It enhances your perception allowing you to see things much clearer. Tracking movement, reading a person's hand seals to determine and possibly copying an opponent's jutsu. Can also see chakra. Of course bloodline limits cannot be copied. Also handy for studying since it helps with memorization, just avoid being top in your class. Plus genjutsu will get a boost with it."

She nods. After closing her eyes she stops drawing chakra to her eyes and they return to normal.

Sora: My other skills?

"You have Presence Concealment which is most likely why no one can detect you unless they are looking directly. Must have been using it instinctively all these years. You have a skill called Stealth which seems to conceal your physical form. You must have been using it unknowingly whenever you were desiring to hide during your more daring stalking runs. If I looked away right now and you used both conceal and sneak, I would never be able to find you."

Sora: Cool. Mastering these skills. Want to instill fear in my enemies.

"You also have two particularly interesting skills too. One called Seal Breaker and one called Lockpicking. Apparently you can erase a seal and pick locks by channeling chakra in aa certain way. Seems like you may have already figured that out considering the proficiency they have at the moment."

She nods.

Sora: Discovered I can mess up security seals and pick weak locks with chakra. More advanced seals get set off immediately and tougher locks fail to move. Set off the alarms at the Uchiha archives one night, escaped scott free. Adults still suspected me, played innocent. Innocent until proven guilty. No evidence was ever found, considered false alarm.

"I see. These skills would aid you well if you completely master them."

Sora: Training recommendations?

"Personally I would suggest you to wander all of the heaviest guarded areas in the village for an hour or two each night to boost up the two stealth skills. For Seal Breaker and Lockpicking I would recommend taking up fuinjutsu."

Sora: Fuinjutsu? Why?

"If you can break a seal then being able to create one is a good skill to compliment it. Create a few seals, then break them. Raise the mastery of both together. Two birds with one stone. Plus with your stealthy nature you can set up even more elaborate traps for the enemies that can't be killed normally. There is a certain S Rank Terrorist that has 5 hearts and will pose a problem for you if you would want to silently kill someone like him. Plus there is that Hidan guy who would just shrug off your sneak attack."

Sora: Immortals. Hate them. Wish I had Ban's Snatch ability, steal the five heart guy's five hearts.

"Too bad you aren't the Sin of Greed. Over all your skills are amazing and with training you will become the perfect silent assassin. I may be a force of destruction, but you on the other hand have precision and silence. Your pretty much my opposite."

Sora: I deal with man power, you deal with collateral damage?

"When you put it like that I guess it's not far off."

She is silently thinking for a minute before she starts talking.

Sora: Wanna train. Master taijutsu and some ninjutsu too. Don't want to always hide in the shadows.

"Hm..." I think about it for a moment before nodding my head. "Sounds easy enough. I train here everyday, so if you want to train and spar just come by whenever. It will be a good help if you use your Sharingan during our spars to improve your taijutsu and raise your eye mastery too."

Sora: Okay.

"Just to warn you ahead of time there will occasionally be a few others joining us. A blonde kid with whiskers named Naruto who the series was named after and the youngest son of your clan's head Sasuke. Sometimes even my mom and Sasuke's will come by to watch or even join in."

Sora: ... Clan head family, annoying. Clan heir is decent, mother is nice. Clan heads a prick. Will tolerate Sasuke, prank him too and frame Naruto.

"Now..... please don't be plotting too much. He isn't too bad, just happens to be a big brother con."

Sora: I promise nothing! I demand premium training.

"Haa..... whatever. I have a feeling if I defy you I would regret it when I don't see it coming... Beware the Shadow named Sora."
