3 Bloodline

In a lush forest full of trees, a dark silver wolf could be seen facing off against a kid about 6 years old. He had red hair and brown eyes which faintly glowed red while wearing a black trouser and shirt.

Steel gray claws extended from the wolf's large black paws, his similarly black fur adorned with silver tips were menacingly erected. He stood firm in the soil like an immovable fortress, this beast lowered it's head while its eyes watched every motion the boy made.

Ashiba also looked at the beast with merciless eyes that showed murderous intent. He had already knew in these past two and a half years that some of the animals in this world were slightly stronger than earth, though only stronger relative to an average person, a slightly experienced ninja could easily deal with them, so he chose this type of beast which resides in the forest near his village, to fight and strengthen his bloodline.

*Swish!*

The beast had already gotten impatient as it charged straight towards the opponent with a speed twice of that belonging to a normal wolf.

Ashiba silently looked as the wolf opened his growling mouth and headed towards his leg. The moment it was in the wolf's reach, he jumped up and slammed his foot into the wolf's head explosively.

*Thud!*

He felt the toughness of the beast's hide, it was like kicking a steel wall, he couldn't but smile widely as his red eyes gleamed fiercely with excitement for this fight! Before the beast could react he jumped sideways and kicked him right in the belly, but this time he transferred chakra to his foot.

*Crunch!*

The wolf growled painfully as it rolled over and struggled to stand up quickly. Ashiba looked at the wolf disappointed with a bit of indifference, with all the previous excitement gone and his calm regained.

He looked as the beast desperately struggled to get up and shook his head with an indifferent expression : "What a weak creature, no potential for growth and improvement whatsoever, it really reminds me of myself.."

Whenever he recalls his past self on earth he couldn't help but express pure disdain to all those ignorant creatures who thought they reached the apex, they simply couldn't see the truth. He always thought the earth to be a cage that shackled his growth and improvement. Maybe it represented a safe haven for the weak, but for strong individuals, it was nothing more than a cage.

The beast watched as the boy slowly walked towards it, struggling to stand up on its toes again. But alas he could only whimper and lay down as he watched the boy standing in front of him and grasping his neck violently.

*Crunch!*

...

...

Ashiba sat cross-legged just beside the already dead wolf and started to sense the changes he had felt earlier during the fight.

Earlier, when he kicked the wolf with his chakra he felt it rapidly depleting, a lot more than it should have. At the same time he had also felt his body slightly strengthening, but nonetheless it was only a marginal increase.

He made a fist and punched at the ground in front of him.

*Bam!*

Ashiba looked at his hand which looked completely unharmed without any bruise that should be of hitting rocky ground and said with a hint of elation: "So this is what it means to tap into potential of the bloodline and strengthen it...In doing so, it simultaneously strengthens my physique".

He could anticipate that when training his body in the future he will improve and get stronger more quickly than before. He knew that there was more to it than just these few points in strengthening his bloodline.

As he thought about his previous situation he wondered how he got he was able to tap into the potential of his bloodline, all he did during the fight was kick the wolf two times: "Wait! did it work because I used chakra for my second kick?"

As he thought about it more he felt this theory was plausible, so he once again punched the ground in front of him, but this time while adding chakra to his hand.

*Bam!*

As he looked over a sign of a fist could be seen imprinted on the ground. Ashiba frowned as he felt the chakra only depleted as much as he had added during the punch.

"It looks like the bloodline strengthening will only work in real fights...Hehe, this turned out to be even better than I thought" said Ashiba with a faint smile, his eyes ever so slightly gleaming with a hint of red.

As he noticed that the sun was about to set he decided to go back to the village.

...

Sword clatters, screaming voices, rising black smoke, the more Ashiba approached his village, the more these sounds began to be apparent, the wind in front of him also started to act strangely while he was nearing the boundary of the village.
