84 Monster
"The Monster Tanuki, Shukaku of the Sand huh? We haven't even had a drink together yet and you're getting me into suicidal fights already?" Gamabunta grumbled.
" We can get drunk later, Chief. Believe it! Right now, I'm trying to prevent my home from getting destroyed by the Tailed Beast Bomb." Naruto muttered back. Gamabunta hummed as a tsunami of sand flew towards him.
Gamabunta jumped high up to the air as Shukaku got up and looked at the giant toad. "Oh look!! There's something to kill already!! Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullet!! " Shukaku shouted before pounding his stomach with his arm. The external pressure from the pound forced a ball of wind from Shukaku's large mouth, firing it like a cannonball at Gamabunta.
"Water Style: Liquid Bullets!!"
"Why don't I give you a hand?!" Naruto shouted as he summoned two Shadow Clones.
"WIND STYLE: DRILLING AIR BULLET!!" The blonde and his clones sucked in a breath before punching his stomach, releasing three powerful cannonball of wind.
The wind cannonballs hit the water bullet, increasing its speed and power nearly sixfold as it smashed into the wind bullet sent by Shukaku.
*PSSSHHH!!!*
The wind bullet was destroyed and the water bullet continued on and collided with Shukaku, knocking the giant monster tanuki back and sending it crashing to the ground.
*BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!*
"I'm seeing things." Jiraiya muttered as he rubbed his eyes. He swore he saw the image of Minato replacing Naruto for a while.
"Nice attack! You're not half bad, kid!" Gamabunta shouted as he landed on the ground. Naruto grinned broadly.
"Thanks! So how do we do this?" Natural asked as Shukaku slowly got back up.
"We need to wake up the host. The boy on his head is acting as a medium for the Shukaku. A good smack should do it. Killing the medium during a full-possession may very well release the demon. Since it already has a form it wouldn't need the boy."
" A good scratch should wake him up. " Naruto widened his eyes and looked at Yugito who was standing beside him.
" Huh? Who're you and why are you standing on my head?! " Gamabunta asked her. Yugito smiled a little.
" Yugito Nii, the Jinchuriki of the Nibi. " Yugito introduced herself.
"Never thought Kumo would be helping Konoha out of all nations. What changed? " Gamabunta asked her. Yugito shrugged.
"Most of it is revenge towards Orochimaru mixed with the chance of getting something out of this for helping them." Yugito explained but her gentle expression turned into a serious one.
" Let's save it for later, Chief Toad. I'm here to help. Do you guys need someone to get a hold of him?" Yugito asked Naruto who nodded.
"Yup! But how are you gonna do that?" Naruto asked curiously. Yugito smirked and held out her fist.
" Hit this and you'll find out. "

Naruto gasped as he opened his eyes. He looked around and quickly realized he was in his subconscious. He looked behind him to see a free Kyuubi who was snarling at something that's not Naruto.
"Wait! How are you free again?!" Naruto shouted while pointing at him. Kyuubi only narrowed his eyes as a response.
"We're currently in the Mental World, a deeper plain of the Tailed Beasts' subconscious minds. There are no seals or other restrictions and it is accessible for all tailed beasts and their respective Jinchuriki." Naruto turned around to see Yugito standing in front of him. The blonde looked at what's behind her and widened his eyes in shock.
What was behind her was the Two Tailed Blazing Monster Cat, Matatabi. Matatabi is two-tailed, like a bakeneko, and is completely engulfed in cobalt blue and black flames, like a Kasha.
She also has heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils.
"Matatabi...." Kyuubi growled out. Matatabi who was lying on the ground like a cat would raised her head to look at him.
"Kurama. How long has it been? Is that a way to greet your big sister? You should be happy. I've missed you, you know." Matatabi asked in a playful tone. Naruto widened his eyes and looked at it Kyuubi, who is known as Kurama.
"So that's your name...." He mumbled before looking back at Matatabi. Kurama's scowl deepened.
"Well I'm not!" He replied to her angrily. Matatabi raised a brow at him.
"Liar." Matatabi whispered to him, making Kurama clenched his giant fists tightly. Matatabi giggled before looking at Naruto.
"Hello there, Naruto-kun. My name is Matatabi. Looks like you have your hands full with Shukaku." She introduced herself. Naruto grinned back at her.
" I do! But with Yugito-chan helping me! I'm sure we can defeat that tanuki! Believe it! " Naruto declared confidently. Matatabi nodded.
" I'll hold you onto it. Now, let me and kitten show you why cooperation between Tailed Beasts and humans are possible! "

*POOOF!!!!!*
A loud monstrous roar could be heard all throughout Konoha. Satsuki looked and widened her eyes in disbelief as she saw another Tailed Beast standing beside Gamabunta.
A smirked as he dodged a punch from Hashirama and performed another devastating Lariat to the man, severing his body in half again.
"Seems like Yugito has joined the fray! Watch out snake, you'll be her next prey!!" Bee shouted loudly as he dodged a water dragon sent towards him from Tobirama.
Kakashi activated Kamui and phased through another fiery chain attack sent by Mito. He sank through the ground with the same ability and appeared behind her in an instant.
*BAAAM!!!*
Mito was sent flying away by a chakra enhanced kicked from the jonin. Hiruzen smirked as he threw four giant Fuma Shuriken towards Orochimaru who easily dodged the attack.
*POOF!!!*
Suddenly, the four shuriken transformed back into Hiruzen. They were all using the transformation Justu all along. He and his clones completed their respective set of hand seals at blinding speeds.
"FIVE STYLE: MASSIVE COMBO JUTSU!!!!!"
Hiruzen launched a different base-elemental attack at Orochimaru simultaneously. Orochimaru didn't react in time and was engulfed in the attack.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!*
A massive explosion engulfed the area. Hiruzen stared at it cautiously while spinning his Adamantine Staff. When the smoke cleared, it revealed Orochimaru using his own style of the Substitution Jutsu. His clothing and injuries were completely restored, but he was breathing heavily because the Jutsu consumed a great amount of his chakra.
"Kamui!!!"
Kakashi suddenly appeared in front of Orochimaru in a swirl and sliced off Orochimaru's arms with the Kusanagi Sword he stole with the Kamui technique, making the snake growl angrily.
Kakashi jumped back and stood beside Hiruzen who looked at Orochimaru seriously. "I will not let your ambitions ruin this village anymore, Orochimaru! You will die today!" Hiruzen declared.
"Curse you old man! I will not be dying here and my ambitions will not die here!! Your victory means nothing! I am immortal!!!" Orochimaru shouted at him.
" That's just you in denial! You should know better than to underestimate the shinobi of this village! Each one of them is fighting to protect their home! Giving their all and letting the Will of Fire burn within them! So long as there are still Konoha shinobi left to fight, you will not win!"
" You are a fool Orochimaru! A monster in human flesh! You hunger for jutsu, but in your quest for power and jutsu you have forgotten where true strength comes from! It is only when a shinobi protects the things and people most precious to them that they find true strength!! "

Naruto narrowed his eyes as he watched the overgrown tanuki get closer. Yugito who had transformed into Matatabi roared and sprinted towards Shukaku.
Shukaku roared and manipulated sand before compressing them into bullet like projectiles.
"WIND STYLE: SAND BOMB SALVO!!!" He yelled before expelling a giant gust of wind from its stomach, with the impact of a bomb to increase the force of the bullets, creating a large-scale sandstorm.
"Two-Tails: Purgatory Flame!!!" Yugito shouted before forming a large fireball from her mouth and shooting it at Shukaku's attack. The attack dispersed the overgrown tanuki's attack easily.
Shukaku roared loudly as he kept on going forward. He fired a giant gust of wind at him and Gamabunta.
Gamabunta jumped up, dodging the bullet while he flew towards Shukaku. Naruto's eyes turned into crimson red and had slits in them as he tapped into Kurama's chakra.
Naruto created a clone that appeared on the giant
toad's head. The clone began weaving a small set of hand seals before a large amount of Kurama's chakra surrounded him.
*POOOF!!!!*
A large plume of white smoke covered the area. Jiraiya watched in anticipation and widened his eyes in horror at what leaped out from the smoke.
It was the Kyuubi who was actually the Shadow Clone using the Transformation Jutsu to transform into him. The transformed Shadow Clone grabbed onto Shukaku and so did Yugito.
"Rise and shine, bastard!!" Naruto shouted before he punched Gaara in the face.
*BAAAANNNGGGG!!!!*
"DAMN YOU KURAMAAA!!!!!" The force of Naruto's punch sent him and Gaara both straight through the screaming Shukaku's body, forcing him to collapse on himself since he no longer had a medium to hold it. The pair crashed straight into the ground as sand fell down all around them.
"Holy shit….." Gamabunta whispered as Yugito returned to normal and stood on his head while the Shadow Clone using the Transformation Jutsu disappeared too.
'Jiraiya's definitely picked an interesting one this time. I'm actually pretty interested to see how this will end. Unfortunately I'm nearly out of chakra, but I look forward to seeing more of what Minato's kid can do.' With that the Chief Toad disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Naruto stood up dragged Gaara out of the now giant sand pit, spitting up the sand that had managed to get in his mouth.
"I hate sand...."
