4 CHAPTER 3

*********** In konoha ***********

The people of konoha were still searching for Naruto when they saw a pillar of light descending upon the forest of death. Everyone were astonished by that phenomenon.

Danzo was still sitting in meeting room of the council when all this happened. He was frowning because one of his subordinates said that they lost contact with the team sent to capture the fox brat.

" Is something wrong Danzo sama?" asked one of the council members.

"No it is alright. It seems like Some work has come up and I have to go, now If you will excuse me" said Danzo as he stood up from his seat and moved towards the exit.

The meeting had already come to an end earlier and the hokage had already left. The council members were discussing about what to do after the the fox brat has been captured when this phenomenon happened.

"So what do you think that pillar of light was from the forest of death?" asked a old woman to the council head.

" Who knows what it was but I am sure that hokage sama is surely going to send someone to find about it. As for the the demon brat, Danzo sama has taken upon himself to control him. We no longer need to worry about him. As of now we will dismiss this meeting here. Everybody can leave now" said the council head as he left with his subordinate. One by one everyone left the place and dispersed.

************ In the hokage tower ***********

Sarutobi Hiruzen the third and the current hokage of konaha was sitting on his chair and was lost in deep thought. The meeting had concluded with the decision of Naruto being handed over to his rival Danzo. He was not happy with that. He didn't cared much for the boy but still he had to show his kind self to him so that he could win his trust as the boy thought of him as his grandpa. Hiruzen believed that violence will lead to destruction so rather than being cruel to Naruto he acted with kindness towards him so that he could easily win the trust of the boy. He made sure that he didn't go overboard by limiting Naruto to many things. Hiruzen has actually never revealed the actual identity of Naruto to the public in fear of creating disharmony amongst the people of konoha. If people came to know about his real identity then he was afraid that konoha would be targeted by Minato's enemy. Minato was naruto's father who sacrificed his life to seal the the kyubii inside naruto.

Hiruzen was afraid that an internal strife might break out and the enemies of konoha might take the opportunity to strike when there was internal strife going on. As he was a lover of peace he decided to withheld the information about Naruto and let the boy love in darkness and ignorance. He wanted Naruto to be loyal to the village but by not making him a emotionless killing machine but by having him make bonds with people in the village. Hiruzen gave him a hope that one day he can become a hokage if he strive to achieve his goal. Like this he could have made Naruto a loyal member of konoha who could have probably gave up his life for the village.

But his plan miserably failed due to the utter hatred the villagers had for naruto. And the pressure from the civilian council with Sandi and the daimao did the work of oil adding to the fire.

His personal bodyguards informed him that Naruto was hunted and was also injured by the people of the village. He now knew that he had no way of reconciling with the boy after this incident. So he let Danzo win this time by letting him take Naruto into the root so that he could train him into becoming a real weapon.

Hiruzen sighed and got up from his chair, went in front of the window and directed his gaze towards the direction towards the forest of death on which the pillar of light descended some time ago. Suddenly a figure appeared behind him kneeling with one hand on the ground. He wore black clothing, a grey flap jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, ninja sandals with spikes for traveling mountaneous regions, three ninja pouches on their back-waist and a signature spiral tattoo on their shoulder. He wore a porcelain mask with a resemblance to that of a raccoon. He was a 'anbu' a special unit used for secret missions like assassination and tactical warfare.

"Get up Tenzo, what did you find out ?" said Hiruzen without turning back.

Tenzo replied while standing up," We were able to find out that Naruto was chased by two root members into the forest of death when the pillar of light descended. We weren't able to go inside because some sort of weird pressure descend upon the entire after the light descended. After the pressure disappeared we went to see what happens but couldn't find anything or anyone. It seemed like everyone just disappeared in thin air."

" What?! you couldn't find anyone? How can they be possible? Didn't you say that the scouts say Naruto and the root members go into the forest!" said Hiruzen in a astonished voice. His eyes went wide.

"Yes hokage sama, what are your orders?" as Tenzo still bowing his head.

" Don't stop searching for him. We can't loose him." Hiruzen said in a serious voice.

After that Tenzo disappeared from there and Hiruzen kept looking out of the window thinking about the future.

In the forest of death ten minutes earlier;

One could see a man and a woman looking down at a boy with blonde hair who was lying unconscious on the forest floor. This boy was Baritone Uzumaki a.k.a the jinchuriki of the nine tailed fox also known as kurama.

"What do you say we do now dear?" said the man looking deeply at naruto.

The woman beside him answered serenely" why not take him with us and adopt him as our son? What do you say Naraka? Didn't you always wanted to have a kid of our own? Why not we first learn how to become parents then in the future we can have little army of munchkin" The woman winked at him. The now named Naraka looked at his wife quietly as he smirked at her, before saying enthusiastically" Well...alright lets adopt him!! From now on he will be our son!!"

" Take him with you, Mirthra" said Naraka to his now named wife Mithra.

Mithra stretched her towards Naruto as the little boy slowly started to hover in the air and after that he went directly into Mithra's arms. Mithra embraced the child and together with her husband disappeared from there.

After some time later, few people came there. They seemed to be searching for something but couldn't find it no matter where they searched. These people were precisely the Anbu black ops sent here to search for Naruto sent by Hiruzen Sarutobi.
