Shirai Pov

Ah! It hurts all over. I mentally screamed, twisting my body. My hair swayed back an forth while my face contracted different pained emotions. I was rolled up like a ball, clutching my chest in pain.

When does this end? Am I going to die here? I thought as I clutched my chest, I had been experiencing this pain for what felt like hours. My hand bones, which were previously broken by Orochimaru were healed in that timeframe, allowing me to move them.

The strange pain I was feeling in my chest was very painful, like a needle had poked my heart multiple times, the sensation travelled down my body making it ache, I could barely move my limbs.

"Orochimaru-Sama, His body is resisting the Cells." The silver haired pupil told his master. The snake summoner raised an eyebrow, resisting meant certain death but it was strange that the kid was still alive for such a long time.

"Kukuku, His chakra is changing itself, aligning with The Cells of Hashirama Senju." Orochimaru told his pupil. The Snake summoners eyes seemed to be sparkling with curiosity and amazement.

"Kinoe" was the only subject who had survived the Injection of Hashirama cells, when Kinoe's cells were remodeled into Hashirama cells they were different, they seemed more adaptable and yet had a 0% survival rate among the many children who were imbued by them.

Their strange characteristic branched off from the modification brought upon by Kinoe's body, only one woth a similar composition and structure could survive the transplant.

Yet this has still managed to stay alive till the end, his shattered bones -which would need a healer on Tsunade to be restored to their original shape were restored in the span of a single day. Orochimaru widened his eyes, his smile grew wider as he chucked loudly.

"KuKuKu, Kabuto, His body, the Speed at which it heals surpasses that of the First hokage." Orochimaru told his pupil. Kabuto looked in awe as he heard his master's words, he gulped loudly, looking at me, not even 5 being tortured by the Cells. Frightened but he pain experienced by me.

I chuckled, looking at Orochimaru as I gritted my teeth, my eyes were squinted because of the pain and I was sweating profusely.

"Suprised Snakey?" I asked Orochimaru, the older shinobi chuckled upon seeing the courage and resilience held by the small child.

"You have certainly Suprised me." Orochimaru said before he approached the cage and put his face close to the cage.

"But I am more curious than being suprised by your fast healing. The Sannin said, plunging a needle into to my shoulder. The crimson coloured blood filled the syringe. The pain subsided as soon as the Syringe was pulled out of my body.

"Curse you Orochi!" I screamed at the Sannin, unable to do anything else.

"Kukuku, is this what Finding a diamond amongst coal feels like." Orochimaru inspected the crimson liquid, noticing it starting to solidify. The snake Sannin poured the blood into another separate test tube and sealed it shut using fire jutsu to melt the glass, to preven the blood from clogging even more.

"Kabuto, you are assigned as his guard. Never let him get out of sight." The Sannin ordered his subordinate kabuto, the Boy nodded in affirmation.

"As you wish, Orochimaru-Sama." Kabuto told his Sensei.

"Hizashi, I see a group of shinobi, roughly 3 Kilometres from here." A Hyuga Jounin informed his captain. Hizashi nodded, using his own dojutsu. The four Hyuga jounins in the group had made an agreement to switch between using their Byakugan to conserve their chakra.

"That's at least high Chunin level speed." Said Hisashi as he looked at the group of shinobi 3 Kilometres In front of his group, they numbered close to twenty, each of them were moving at a consistent speed rivaling that of an average high level chunin.

"Hide yourselves!" Informed another Hyuga, he was elderly and seemed wise. Hizashi listened to his guidance and hid himself and the others behind a cluster of rocks.

"The one on the lead is Danzo Shimura." Hizashi said to his teammates recognizing the konoha leader, taking a sigh of relief. He suddenly remembered his brother's words about root and Orochimaru being involved with the mission and was still tense about the predicament.

"Be wary still, he is not on our side." Hizashi warned his team. His teammates nodded.

"We should retreat southwards." The elderly Hyuga of the group todl him, Hizashi winced and grit his teeth.

"Good idea!" Hizashi told his teammate. Carefully taking note of where the Shimura was heading with his small entourage.

The old ruins on the east of konoha? He thought to himself.

1 week later (3 Weeks after Shirai's kidnapping.)

"Hokage-Sama, A stronghold has been located!" A Shinobi of chunin rank informed the hokage.Hiruzen looked at the shinobi, Six days ago. He was informed that a sighting of Danzo took place somewhere near the old ruins. He suspected his old friend of the kidnapping and trafficking of Many children including Shirai yet he lacked any clear evidence.

Hiruzen approached the shinobi. Intending on asking a question.

"Where? Did the Hyuga's manage to see anything inside?" The Sarutobi head asked the Chunin, the Shinobi nodded, intending on answering his leader's questions.

"They have, yet there is no-one inside." He informed his leader, Hiruzen was perplexed, yet not totally surprised, Danzo and his gang fled a week ago to another secured toit base a week ago.

"Any trap-" Hiruzen was interrupted by the sound of several explosions going off at once, such great explosions could entail the attack of unknown Shinobi on them or the clear indication that the traps inside the base were set.

"What happened?" He hokage asked his shinobi, intending on uncovering the cause of the explosion. The shinobi In front Of him looked just as confused as Hiruzen himself was. He asked another man, who had ran away from the explosions, likely saving his own life answered.

"I have no idea Hokage-sama, but one of the Inazuka Dogs accidentally stepped inside the Stronghold." The man told him, the "professor" nodded sagely upon uncovering the truth.

"Call a medic quick, several people are injured." A man said, giving first aid to his injured friend, a medic of chunin rank ran to help him.

"Okay, I'm on it." The medic said as he started using the Mystic Palm jutsu to heal up surface wounds on the insured person.

"This is a work of root." Hiruzen muttered to himself, he had been familiar with these traps long ago. He should have seen it coming by a longshot considering who he was dealing with.

"I do believe as well Hokage-Sama." Answered a boy by his side, Kakashi. He was familiar with root and it's schemes as a part of Minato's team. The boy was useful for him in this mission because of his summons and strength.

"Hokage-Sama a covered up underground tunnel was just opened due to the explosion." A Chunin informed the hokage, the Hokage nodded. The tunnel was probably laced with earth chakra to cover Hyuga's from finding it and was also the source of the smells sensed by the Inazuka Hounds 9 days ago.

"Tell the Hyuga's to inspect it, that must be the tunnel that the dogs smelled eight days ago." He told the Shinobi, the shinobi nodded and turned.

"On it, Hokage-Sama." He said as he ran to inform Hizashi Hyuga. Hiruzen was busy in his thinking and drawing conclusions when he noticed a man with a lab coat walking towards him.

"What have you found Doctor Kerosuke?" He asked the Doctor, the Doctor was a head scientist in Genetic engineering.

"Strands of Pink hair Hokage-Kero! Matching the hair trails left by the Kid-Kero!" Kerosuke replied to the hokage, his appearence was similar to a frog and he also had a weird "Kero" Catchphrase.

Kerosuke showed the Hokage a few strands of pinkish coloured hair, exposed due to the explosion.

"They seemed to be placed in precise locations on small bundles-Kero! Mostly in the endges of a Broken Cage-Kero!" Kerosuke continued, as he showed a few bundles of the hairs to the hokage. The bundles were placed by Shirai with the intention that someone would find them and look for him.

"Are there any other Clues left by him.?" The Hokage asked the Scientist, the scientist shook his head. The Hokage had a dissapointed look on his face, the kid could be precisely found if there were more clues.

"No, But there is clear evidence-Kero! That this was a placed used for Human Trafficking and Storing-Kero!" Kerosuke told the Hokage, the cage was meant so no human or child could get out of it, it was inscribed with seals that blocked chakra.

"Any signs of the culprit, Perhaps root or Orochimaru?" The Hokage Sincerely told the Scientist. Kerosuke shook his head. Hiruzen grit his teeth, he was very close to finally gather enough evidence against the root and their vile actions.

"The culprit seems to have erased the evidence-Keroo! the destruction of the base also erase any evidence that might have remained-Keroro!!" Kerosuke said with a grim look on his face, the hokage sighed as Kerosuke walked away.

"The tunnel seems to be safe Hokage-sama." A Shinobi reported to him, a Hyuga shinobi to be precise. The Hokage looked at the shinobi with determination in his face. He stood up and called the Hyuga team leader.

"Okay Hizashi, we're going in now. Everyone follow my lead."
