1 Chapter 1- Thank you and I love you

Hi guys!

Thank you all for waiting patiently. This is the first chapter of the re-written version of my first ever novel, and I would just like to tell you that, this new version is very different from it's predecessor since I change the majority of it.

And also this story is very slow, there would not be much action in the early chapters. The romance part is also slow, so please enjoy reading and here is the first chapter. Enjoy ~\(≧▽≦)/~

"Ha! So tired"

Said a young man after pushing the door into his rental apartment, looking around at the slightly messy room, the room was a single bedroom apartment, having both a restroom and a kitchen built inside, it also had a balcony connected just after his bed.

His room is slightly messy due to him being busy with his work. He took off his mask, and his scrub and went to the bathroom to wash his hand before he changes to a more comfortable cloth.

The young man works in a hospital having different shifts every day of the week, and right now he just finishes his duty from a night shift. The sun is already peeking at the sky getting ready to shine at the beginning of the day.

He sighed and just laid on the bed and closes his eyes, he is too lazy to even eat his breakfast and just wanted to sleep.

"I wonder when will my life change…" he said before drifting off to sleep.

MC's POV

'Huh? Why is it suddenly so dark?'

'Am I still dreaming?' I ask myself because I can't seem to move, my body feels constricted, weak, and small.

'What is happening to me? Is this the phenomenon they call sleep paralysis?'

I thought panicking by what is happening around me, I tried moving and speaking but I can't seem to talk, and I felt my body moving upwards and see a light ahead of me.

And then I hear a voice to what seems to belong to a man saying,

"You can do it Rin, just a little more and the head will be out"

'Rin? Who is that?'

I tried to calm myself and it then hit me that I seemed to understand what the man is saying. I know the language is not English and seemed to be Japanese.

I know since I watch so many anime and I can understand pitiful Japanese words but, I can understand what he is saying right now.

And then suddenly a very unbelievable thought flashes to my mind…

'It can't be?'

And just after I thought about that, I close my eyes due to the blurring light that suddenly hit me and heard a hurtful groan of a woman.

*GROAN

"Oh! the head is out just a little more, there you go, he's a boy," said an old woman's voice,

I open my eyes to see my surroundings but what I saw is two large blurry heads looking at me, then I heard the man said,

"How is he?"

The old woman looks at him and said, "He is a healthy baby, but he is not crying"

As she said that, she suddenly spanks my buttocks,

'What the fuck! it hurts!' I screamed but what came out of my mouth is a cry.

"There we go," she said before she hands me to the man.

'There we go, my ass' I thought before I look at the silhouette of the man that is currently holding into my delicate body.

Although my sight is blurry and cannot see clearly, I can sense the happiness he is exuding.

"Look Rin, he has your hair," said the man

Then I notice a woman's silhouette looking at me,

"He has your eyes; he will be a handsome boy when he grows up," she said with a gentle voice before placing a kiss on my forehead,

"Of course, he will, he has both our genes"

"Silly"

"What will we name him?"

The woman keeps looking at me and after which, she looks away seemingly looking outside, and said,

"We will name him Haruka, just like the blooming of flowers in the spring and the light of the sun"

"A beautiful name, it is perfect for him," answers the man, kissing her forehead

"You rest well my love"

The woman nodded and fell asleep, I also heard what they said,

'Haruka? It can't be real that I really reincarnated. Wait, my name is not Haruka, my name is…'

'My name is…'

'Why can't I remember? My mother and father are… I, I also can't remember… what? What is happening'

I panic and cry, I can't seem to control my tears due to me being a baby, but I can't remember who I am, but I do know the other things and what I did, but all my personal information, I can't remember.

"Shhh… Don't cry Haru, dad is here, let your mother rest okay"

Said the man lovingly, his voice seemed to calm me down and I stop crying, I look at my dad's appearance and although it is blurry, I can sense his worry and care towards me.

I sighed inwardly and thought,

'Did I really reincarnate? Maybe this is all a dream? But the pain on my buttocks said otherwise' I sighed again and felt my eyes growing tired and closes.

'Maybe I will wake up to my own world after all this, 'is the last thought before I went to sleep.

Rin's POV

I wake up still feeling the pain and exhaustion of childbirth, I look around me and saw Sosuke carrying Haru. He seems to notice my movement and smiles at me lovingly,

"You are awake my dear"

I nod at him and smiles weakly and said, "I want to carry him"

He nods and brings Haru towards me, I look at him and he seems to be awake, he looks so cute while staring at me curiously, Sosuke hugs me while we look at him.

While we are playing with Haru, we heard a knock on the door, we look at it and the door opens revealing a man going in with a baby in his arms. We smile and greets him,

"Sakumo-nii"

He smiles at us and looks at the bundle of joy in our arms, "Congratulations! Rin, Sosuke"

"Thank you Sakumo-nii" we replied

He walks to us and smiles at Haru and asks, "What is his name?"

"We named him Haruka"

"Haruka? She's a girl?" He asks confused

"Hahaha, nope Sakumo-nii, he's a boy but we named him Haruka, Haru for short"

"I see"

"Guaagahh"

We look at the baby in Sakumo's arm and we saw him staring at Haru, "Looks like Kakashi wants to meet Haru" said Sakumo

I reach my arm towards Kakashi and Sakumo-nii brought him to me, I carried him on my left arm while Haru is on my right, and we saw Kakashi staring at Haru, wanting to touch him.

Haru also seems to feel Kakashi's hand and grab it, we look at the two cuties and our hearts warm up at the sight.

I look at Sakumo-nii and notices that a tear is falling down his eyes and ask anxiously "Sakumo-nii, is everything alright?"

He seems to wake up and wipe the tear that nearly fallen, and said "I'm fine, I just remember Ritsu, if she is still alive, she would be happy seeing this"

The happy mood around us seems to go down remembering my late sister-in-law that died when she gave birth to Kakashi,

"Yes Sakumo-nii, I am sure she is happy whenever she is right now, don't worry Nii-san, we will help you take care of Kakashi, it is the least we can do," I said comforting him

"Thank you, Rin"

"What is there to thank for, Sakumo-nii, if not for uncle taking me in and name me after the clan, I would not be alive right now," said Sosuke

Sakumo smiles at us and nodded,

"Speaking of which, Sakumo-nii"

"What is it?"

"We were thinking of naming Haru under Uzumaki since you know, my father was an orphan and you took care of me and I am very grateful for that, but I wanted to name Haru as an Uzumaki since the clan was nearly destroyed, is it okay?"

"Yes, of course, it is alright"

"Thank you, Sakumo-nii"

Sakumo wave his hands and said, "As you said, what is there to thank for between family"

The mood gradually became warm as we are talking and we heard a knock on the door again, we look at it and when it opened a red-haired girl walk-in together with a blonde boy.

"Kushina come in," I said

Kushina smiles and happily run towards us bringing the blonde boy with her and ask excitedly,

"Rin-nee, Congratulations-Tebane!"

"Thank you, Kushina. But who is this handsome young man behind you?" I ask

I look at her face that is nearly going red and she said, "Rin-nee, Sosuke-nii, Sakumo-san, this is Minato, my former classmate, he just graduated from the academy and met him on my way here-Tebane"

"Ara~ Hello there Minato"

"Nice to meet you all, I am Namikaze Minato"

"Minato? I seem to remember that the Hokage always praise a genius this year, is that you?" ask Sakumo

"Hehe, well, they called me that, but I am not compared to you Sakumo-san" he answers shyly

"Haha, you are still young, do your best and you can surpass me sooner or later"

"Nice to meet you Minato, so are you dating Kushina?" asks Sosuke jokingly

The two have red faces when they heard Sosuke and Kushina retorted, "No, we are just friends" she said while pouting

I smiled at her antics and said, "Well, that's good, you are still 10 years old, and can't wash her underwear yet so no need to think about that kind of stuff"

"RIN-NEE!!!" she shouted at me, and I just laugh

Her hair flew out and she looks like a tomato, well, I will not tell her that, she looks at me glaringly until she notices Haru.

"Wahh! He is so cute, is this my nephew?-Tebane"

I nodded and said, "Kushina, Minato, meet Haru"

"Can I carry him, Rin-nee?"

"Sure" I then hand her Haru, and she carries him carefully

"Wow! He looks like you Rin-nee-Tebane"

I giggled and said, "Well he had my hair and he had Sosuke's eyes"

She nods and stares at him, while Minato notices another baby on my arm, "Wait, Rin-san, you gave birth to twins?"

"Hehe, nope, this here is Sakumo's son, Kakashi"

Minato looks at him and said, "He looks like you Sakumo-san"

Sakumo just laughs and nods,

"Rin-nee, you named him Haru?"

"Yup, his full name is Uzumaki Haruka"

"Uzumaki?" ask Minato

"Yes, he took my last name since Sosuke said that it is the least he could do because…"

"Yes, I understand Rin-san," said Minato, afraid that we will remember the tragic past since he too knows about it during his interaction with Kushina

I just smile at him, "Ara~ Minato-kun, you are very sensible, looks like Kushina found an understanding boyfriend" I tease them

The two blushes and Kushina shouted, "Nee-san stop it"

We laugh with our antics and Haru cried, "Ara~ looks like he is hungry"

Kushina brought Haru to me and I feed him.

"Oh right, Sakumo-nii"

"What is it Sosuke?"

"Well, I am thinking of resigning as a ninja"

This news shock Sakumo and even Kushina, and ask "Sosuke-nii, why do you want to quit?"

"Well, you see, I already have a family, and me being an ANBU is a very dangerous job, I am afraid that an accident may happen, and I won't be able to come back."

Sakumo thought for a while and said, "Did you already tell the Hokage about this?"

"I will tell him later; I just want to tell you first since you are my direct superior and also the clan head"

Sakumo just sighed and said, "Okay, I understand, but what are you going to do now?"

"I will open a business here in Konoha, to support both the clan and my family"

Sakumo nodded and said, "It's fine Sosuke, there is only the two of us in the clan"

Sosuke laughs and wanted to say thanks, but he just nods,

"Well, I will leave now," said Sakumo taking Kakashi from my arms

"Okay Sakumo-nii"

"We will also leave first Rin-nee, Sosuke-nii, when are you going to go back home?" said Kushina

"Well, we will rest here for at least a day and will go back home tomorrow" answered Sosuke

Kushina nods and wave goodbye, taking Minato with him, Sosuke brought them out and when he came back, he kisses my forehead and said,

"I will take good care of both of you, I will not let you get sad again"

I leaned on his shoulder and nodded, "Thank you and I love you"
