9 Mako Gains Control Over His Chakra! The Training Schedule!!

Mako opened his eyes after finishing a half hour nap. It wasn't a very long one, but for some reason he felt rather refreshed and, he might be imagining things, even better then he had before the match with Kiba. He could feel the power coursing through his body as he pushed himself up into a sitting position.

He could feel energy circulating throughout his entire being, a feeling that most certianly hadn't been present before his fight with Kiba. What was more was the fact that he seemed to be able to control this energy with some degree of effort. It was difficult at first, but he adjusted quickly after a few minutes of practice with it, sending energy to one hand and then transferring it down to his feet.

"This must be chakra," Mako murmured as he stood up from the bed. "Considering everything that happened, the most logical assumption would be that my rage allowed me to be able to use the chakra which had previously been bottled up. Its just a theory but it fits."

He tested out his newfound strength by doing a simple high kick which left a trail of wind behind it. He then followed up by running to the wall opposite the bed, kicking off of it and landing after backflipping off of it.

"Hmm, guess I'll need to train to master this new strength," Mako muttered as he looked at the hole his foot had created when he kicked off. "I might kill some low ranking genin if I'm not too careful."

Mako opened his mouth and gave a low yawn, a sudden urge to do absolutely nothing coming over him. His habit of doing nothing but sleep and fight with occasional tests that he would easily ace left him prone to laziness and disinterest. Every once in a while he would get the itch to lay down and sleep, most of which he followed willingly.

However, though he wanted nothing more then to be lazy and go back to sleep, he had more pressing matters to deal with. He needed to find out some important information regarding certain matters and in order to obtain the info he had to gain the trust of certain individuals of the Hidden Leaf. The main two targets that he needed to gain trust over were Kakashi Hatake and Tsunade.

Mako nodded his head, solidifying his resolve to not go back to sleep, and then walked over to the door of the the room. He did feel a little weird going out without his white hoodie, but as it was ruined, he didn't bother putting it back on. He simply walked out the door and left it behind.

After exiting the door, Mako ran into a woman carrying a pig. The woman had shoulder length jet-black hair, onyx eyes, and a pretty face. She wore a bluish-black kimono with white trimmings and held closed by a white obi. Mako was quick to identify her as Tsunade's assisstant, Shizune, and the pig she was holding was Tonton.

"Oh, your that wolf boy....," Shizune said with a surprised look on her face. "We didn't expect you to already be awake. Come with me and I'll take you to see Lady Tsunade."

Mako didnt even so much as have a chance to nod his head before Shizune began leading the way down the hall. He was confused by her actions but he let it go as he was merely a stranger to her and he had no intentions of getting closer to her. She wasn't one of the people he needed to get closer to in order to achieve his goal so he wasn't going to even bother.

When they neared the end of the hallway, Shizune pushed open the door near the end and walked inside. Mako folllowed close behind, a bit curious as to where they were going since he was sure this didn't lead to the Hokages office.

The room they had entered into was a rather large one but it was bare with only a large desk in the center of it. Surrounding the desk were three females whose hair colors were pink, blonde, and even more blonde. Mako was easily able to identify who they were upon sight but he failed to see what everyone was doing in the room.

"Ah, your already awake, thats good." Tsunade said with a nod as she glanced as the shirtless wolf boy. "I want to show you something that you could be learning in the future provided that your a quick study and have a knack for it. Its called medical ninjutsu."

"My Lady, this boy is the one you were talking about earlier? The one whose learning under us?" The pink haired girl whom Mako identified as Sakura Haruno looked questioningly at the older female. "He doesn't seem to be that smart."

"Smart? Are you using that in terms of your own intellect or are you saying that while including everyone else in the world?" Mako began to walk forward, his heterochromatic eyes flickering from the table to the pink haired girl. "If your including everyone then I would say that I am indeed stupid as there's always someone smarter. If we're referring to your intellect however...welll lets just say that you don't exactly look like a walking talking dictionary."

Sakura was quiet for a moment as Mako watched the gears in her head turn, attempting to figure out what he meant. When she finally did, she ended up with a rather irritated expression.

She looked like she wanted to say something but she was interrupted by the blonde girl standing on the other side of Tsunade who stepped around the table. She had a look of intrigue on her face as she carefully approached him.

"Are those things real?" The girl that Mako identified as Ino Yamanaka asked as she stopped directly in front of him. He felt a little uncomfortable at the sudden closeness but he felt like it would be unwise to take a steo back.

"If your referring to my ears and tail then I have to say yes," Mako answered as he leaned back slightly. "What isn't real however is your permission to touch them. Keep your hands away and we wont have a problem."

Ino seemed rather disappointed by the fact, but she didn't say anything else as she backed away, returning to Tsunade's side. Her eyes never strayed far from his ears or his tails but he chose to ignore her and instead moved his eyes over to Tsunade.

"To answer your question Sakura, yes this is the guy I was referring to." Tsunade shifted her attention to Mako. "As for the medical ninjutsu I wanted to show you, its a little something like this. Just watch."

Tsunade picked up a knife that was laying on the table and dragged it across her forearm. Dark red blood began oozing out of the cut she had made with the knife, the flow of it trailing down her arm and dripping onto the table.

"You weren't afraid of doing that to yourself? Interesting." Mako tapped his chin and nodded as the blood began to form a small puddle underneath the cut.

"This is nothing compared to the other things I have to go through," Tsunade replied a sshe set down the knife. "Now let me get to what I wanted to show you."

Tsunade raised a hand and placed it directly above the cut, hovering it over the spot where blood continued to pour out slowly. After a few seconds, Mako could see a sort of green light emanating from the palm of her hand. This was something he had seen in the anime so he wasn't exactly surprised as he watched blood slowly come to a stop.

"Thats what you'll be teaching me?" Mako asked with a tilt of his head, his eard twitching slightly.

"Well, I'm too busy to teach you personally but I will give you brief instructions before leaving you to do it." Tsunade gave him a rare smile before placing her hands on the shoulders of Sakura and Ino. "Plus if you have any questions then you can just ask these two girls."

Mako glanced at the two young females and gauged their reactions to this remark. Ino didn't seem to mind as she was watching Mako's ears twitch. Sakura had a frown on her face but she kept quiet, not uttering a single complaint even though Mako knew she had some.

"In the time you were passed out, Ive formulated a schedule for you so that you can not only increase you medical ninjutsu but also increase you ability in controlling chakra as well as using ninjutsu." Tsunade tilted her head slightly. "Kakashi Hatake, one of our best ninjas, will be handling your training personally. You should be thankful brat."

"What if I don't want to?" Mako asked quietly, a question that brought a complete silence to the room.

Tsunade let out a small sigh. "Kid, right now, your teetering on the edge between 'threat' level and 'benefit' level. If you don't accept the training then you'll be labeled a threat and either locked up or killed in order to protect the village."

Mako seemed to ponder this for a second, but he was really formulating his future plans and actions. He had his own path he wanted to travel and didn't intend to stay within the Hiddne Leaf for very long, probably just enough to survobe on his own. All he had to do was accept any offer of strength he could and any form of knowledge he could obtain.

"Fine, but know this, I'm not one of your ninja," Mako said with firm resolve. "As of right now, I have no loyalty to you or anyone here. Though I'll do as I'm told, know that I do so for my own selfish purpose."

Tsunade nodded as if she had expected as much. "Welcome to our world then you brat. Hope you enjoy the stay."
