77 Chapter 77 Conqueror's Slash
Konoha.
The sunny sky suddenly turned dark, the fast wind sweeping the smoke rising from the destroyed houses away, a pin-drop silence in the village suddenly.

But just when everyone in the village was focusing toward the direction where red light was flashing, a dark red thunder suddenly burst out of that place.
The dark red thunder flashed everywhere in the village. The already damaged houses crumbled immediately, and those which were intact also had numerous cracks appearing on it.

Every Konoha shinobi held his head, experiencing huge mental oppression, some weak willed Genin, Chunin and Jonin couldn't hold back and cry out in fear, rolling down the next moment, eyes white mouth foaming.

Naruto went on his knees, holding his head, a painful look on his face, his surroundings were constantly getting darker, like he would pass out any moment.
Itachi, Kakashi, Guy, and Jiraiya weren't much better than Naruto, everyone on their knees, all holding their heads, veins popping out on their foreheads, Jiraiya resisting the pain pointing towards the dark red lightning at the center of the village in disbelief.

"Ha…Ha…what's this power…?" Nagato who at some distance from the village was controlling the Tendo Pain, suddenly spilled blood, his pale face turning even paler, some uncertainty for the first time in his purple eyes.
"Nagato…what's wrong…?"
"It's Konoha's Hawkeye…he just glared at me and this happened…he's unbelievably strong…but I won't stop now…"
"Nagato…"
Said Nagato with a determined look in his eyes, Konan on the side could only speak out his name in a low voice, knowing she couldn't stop him.

Azuma stood at the center of the village, as looking at his sword, he murmured to himself, his eyes focusing back on Pain who floated high.
Just seconds ago, where Azuma stood had a lot of houses around but now all of them had vanished, razed to ground but serious outburst of his conquerors Haki.
"Trrr"
Around Azuma unlike the past, dark red lightning crackled, but around his sword, red lightning seemed to be the most.
Dark red lightning burst around the sword of Azuma from time to time, making crackling sounds, the space around the sword seemed to be distorting from the Haki that had reached the limit of it's evolution.
"It's time…" Said Azuma, his hands holding the hilt of his sword tightening, him squatting lightly.

Next moment, leaving a deep pit in the ground, Azuma suddenly ejected upward, rushing towards Pain.
"That…Azuma…" Naruto who was on his knees from the constant pain, suddenly spotted a red streamer flashing across the sky, the perception brought by Sage Mode making him immediately guess the identity of the person in the sky.

Whizzing through the air, Azuma approached Pain at high speed, but when he was just some distance away from Pain, he saw Pain pointing his hands towards him, Azuma immediately waving the sword towards Pain in the air, his voice echoing all around the village.
"WHAM!!"
The sky above Konoha suddenly turned red, it was followed by a huge airflow being generated, wind blowing at an impressive speed in Konoha, literally pulling out the houses from the ground.
"Ha…it's unbelievable!!"
But everyone who was awake in the village didn't care for this, as everyone's eyes were stuck at the miracle in the sky, a humongous red slash had appeared in the sky, penetrating the sky, the sky turned above Konoha turned red due to this slash.
The Konoha shinobi who were awake all fell on their knees, looking at the slash above with hazy eyes, wry smiles on their faces, never they had felt such a feeling of powerlessness.
This power couldn't be achieved at all by humans, it's the work of a gods, only gods can perform such a feat.
"This power…"
The hands of Tendo Pain which were stretched out to perform the Jutsu, were trembling looking at the red slash that had towered him easily, and was approaching him at an immense speed.
"No!!!…I'm the god!! I will never lose!!!"

But that fear only lasted for a seconds as before the eyes of Nagato controlling the Tendo Pain, the scene of Yahiko dying appeared, his resolve overcoming his fear, a huge amount of chakra from him suddenly injected into Tendo pain, from whose palm, a massive repulsive force burst out, his angry voice sounding in the sky.
"Swoosh!!"
The massive repulsive force visible to naked eye swept out from Tendo Pain, rushing toward the red slash, colliding with it the next moment.

A single booming sound was heard by everyone, after that the sound vanished, red sparks appearing high in the sky.
The slash and the repulsive force seemed to be in a stalemate, the sky was cut into two, but everyone under in the village had already nearly gone blind due to the red light constantly flashing not being able to see the state of the sky clearly, except the likes of Naruto, Jiraiya and other Kage rank shinobi.
"BE GONE!!!"

Seeing the stalemate between the slash and the repulsive force, Tendo Pain yelled out, high emotions on his face, but that halted suddenly, when something like cracking, a similar sound resounded in the sky.

The repulsive force suddenly began to be pushed back, like air cracking, gaps began to appear in the repulsive force, which only increased more and more as time passed, finally like a glass being broken, the repulsive force in the sky dissipated but not the slash.
"NO!!!!!!"
With no hindrance anymore, the not at all weakened slash rushed towards Tendo Pain in the air, who cried out unwillingly, but soon his voce disappeared, as the red light enveloped him.

The slash in the air even after enveloping Pain continued, rushing out of the Konoha, a huge mountain with in the forest at the outskirts of Konoha coming in its way,

The huge thousand-meter-high slash, like butter cut through the huge mountain, vertically dividing it into two, dust rolling around, the sky turning upside down, the ground shaking, rubble flying everywhere.
After cutting the mountain, the slash finally seemed to have weakened but it still continued another thousands meters, leaving a huge long gully in the forest, the ground divided into two.
"Naruto, the rest is up to you…"
"Huh?"
Back in Konoha, everyone was sluggish, eyes stuck at the divided sky above, words too hard to come out, everyone blankly staring at the sky, but at his moment, a voice fell in the ears of Naruto, waking him up from the shock.

Poof!!
The man of the moment, at the center of the village, calmly drilled the sword into the ground and after speaking to Naruto through his Observation Haki, he burst into smoke disappearing.
