Chapter 46 Sudden Attack

Village Hidden in the Grass.

It was a dense forest, in the middle of it was a deep ravine, with a bridge build on top of it, facilitating to move to both sides.

"That's the Tenchi Bridge, we will act according to the plan, I'll transform as Sasori, don't appear before I give the signal, especially you Naruto, don't act out of orders"

Quietly pushing the bush away, Azuma turned towards Sakura and Naruto beside him, and reminded them one last time pointing towards the bridge.

If things go according to plot, the one to appear will be Kabuto, Azuma wanted to catch him here and nip the future problem in the bud.

Orochimaru might be with him also, he didn't want Naruto to go berserk seeing him, so he reminded him to not to act before he orders.

"Try to believe me a little, I won't act before you order!"

Seeing the unassured eyes of Azuma, Naruto felt a bit hurt, where did the basic trust people go, try to trust him a little.

"Sakura, I'll leave him in your care!"

Ignoring Naruto's assurance, Azuma turned towards Sakura and gave her a trusting look, hoping the goddess in Naruto's heart could stop him.

Sakura assured him patting her flat chest, as Azuma nodded and strode out the next moment, moving towards the bridge.

"Transformation Jutsu!"

While walking towards the bridge, Azuma made a hand sign not afraid someone could see him because his Observation Haki didn't pick anyone near.

With a burst of smoke, Azuma transformed into Sasori, his stature short, a hat on his head, as with small steps, tail behind moving around, he arrived at the middle of the bridge

Azuma waited for around ten minutes before with a sound of footsteps finally someone walked out of the forest.

Swoosh!

"Sasori-Sama!"

The figure was cloaked completely, spotting Azuma transformed as Sasori on the bridge, he speeded up arriving before him instantly, greeting him by the way.

Not giving Azuma a chance to say anything, the cloak figure took out a scroll presenting it towards Azuma.

Boom!!

But Azuma seemed to have spotted something, even in the form of Sasori he moved quickly, kicking the scroll in the hand of the cloak figure towards the air.

The scroll in the air burst open, a purple mist spreading around, some flies in the air falling down, dead.

"Azuma!!"

Naruto and Sakura in the bushes cried unconsciously seeing the purple mist, exposing their location.

"As expected this wasn't enough to deal with you!"

The cloak figure didn't seem to have any desire of running away, as he calmly removed the cloak, an unexpected face appearing before Azuma.

The reckless Naruto, like Azuma feared appeared behind him, Sakura following him with a worried look.

"Hey, aren't you that guy!!"

Naruto wanted to inquire whether Azuma was fine, but seeing the face of cloaked guy, he was stunned for a while before he recognized him.

"Sai!"

Azuma said lightly, looking at the figure before him who had straight black hair, dark eyes and pale skin, and was carrying a khaki color backpack.

"Aren't you a leaf shinobi, why did you attack us!"

Sakura behind Azuma yelled looking at Sai, knowing that purple mist was poisonous, if Azuma had been a second later, he would have inhaled it, and would probably be dead by now.

This is simply an act of betrayal, how dare Sai attack them, and also why is he even here.

"How did you know it was poisonous?"

Sai didn't care for the yelling of Sakura and calmly asked looking at Azuma, with no fear of death in his eyes, only endless confusion.

He didn't give Azuma a chance to gouge out his identity, he appeared before him instantly after calling his identity to lower his guard and took out the scroll ready to detonate it immediately.

All of it happened in less than a second, time not enough to even think, how did Azuma find out there was a problem with the scroll in such less time.

But Azuma didn't clear his confusion and pulled out the blade from his back, the face of Sakura and Naruto changing suddenly.

Sai appearing here means Danzo knew the information of their mission, and might have notified Orochimaru and Kabuto, butterfly effect coming into play.

"I'm afraid I can't comment on this topic, well~ should we start now, Azuma-San!"

To his question, Sai flashed a fake smile and after completing his words, he jumped back and pulled out a brush from his ninja bag, a scroll appearing in his other hand.

Sai knew he had no choice to fight Azuma now, though if his strength is as strong as rumors, he had a hunch he might not last long.

"You bastard!!"

Naruto seeing Sai ready to attack, yelled at him, a painful look in his eyes, not being able to understand why someone from the same village was planning to attack them.

"Naruto, Sakura, you take care of him, try to catch him alive, I'll deal with the big fish!"

Seeing Sai ready to fight, Azuma didn't seem to have any intent of fighting him, instead looking towards the wood behind Sai deeply, he turned to Sakura and Naruto, giving them orders.

"Big Fish?"

"KeKeKe~ as expected it was seen by you, I'm more and more curious about you"

Both Naruto and Sakura were confused, but before they could ask anything, a gloomy laugher fell in their ears, a figure with pale skin and snake like eyes walking out of the forest, his long tongue sticking out.
