2 Chapter 2: The gamer system
Naruto felt surprisingly refreshed, he didn't remember much of what happened but he knew that he should have been in pain and not feeling the most refreshed he had ever felt.
He slowly opened his eyes and what greeted him was incredibly surprising.
[You have slept in a comfortable bed, your Hp and Cp have been restored and all negative status effects have been removed.]
'Huh'.
Naruto thought that he was hallucinating after what he had been through.
"Ah, it seems you are awake, I will go call Hokage-sama immediately."
Naruto looked over at the voice that was speaking and had only just noticed where he was, the person that spoke to him was a doctor, which had already left the room.
Naruto looked back at the blue screen that was floating in front of him and swatted it away with his hands, which... worked.
Naruto sighed in relief thinking that he was indeed just hallucinating when a small 'ping' caught his attention.
[Congratulations, you have become your world's gamer, an entity that can infinitely grow through the gamer system, would you like to go through the tutorial Y/N?]
Naruto silently clicked on the Y button, he was starting to think that this wasn't simply a hallucination.
[The gamer system is a system that was integrated with the host's soul, the gamer system will allow anyone to grow stronger.]
[There are multiple things the system can do, one of which is showing the host's status, to see your status screen simply think 'status']
Naruto followed the instructions and thought 'status'.

Naruto silently looked over his status and he was quite disheartened by the negative status effect, he knew he didn't eat the best and most diverse foods but it wasn't that bad, was it?
Nonetheless, Naruto continued with the tutorial.
[As the host can see there are a plethora of different things that are to be noted.]
[Would you like to receive a basic explanation of your status? Y/N]
Naruto clicked yes since he didn't know what half of the things on the screen meant.
[Name: the name is simple, it is what the host is called by everyone.]
[Class: it is given to you once the system determines what your job is, for example Blacksmith, Tailor, Ninja, etc.]
[HP: a representation of the vitality stat, only the gamer has HP if your HP hits zero you die.]
[CP: Chakra, is a combination of your Ying and Yang energies, which are represented as vitality and intelligence, each stat point gives 100 CP, it can be increased by external influence, running out of chakra will make you faint.]
[LVL: levels are a rough indicator of the host's strength and a rough indicator of an enemy's strength, each level the host gains 5 stat points.]
[EXP: EXP or experience is required for leveling up, each level the required amount of EXP increases by 1000, every 100 levels that is multiplied by 10, you can gain EXP by doing quests, and by killing things.]
[Title: titles are special things that show what the host or someone else is.]
[Money: the amount of money you possess.]
[Str: STR or strength increases the physical strength of someone, can be increased through training.]
[VIT: VIT or vitality increases the amount of health and Yang chakra someone has, influences HP regeneration.]
[DEX: DEX or dexterity increases the speed, reflexes, and overall skill with a person's hands for example when using a sword, or when throwing a shuriken.]
[INT: INT or intelligence increases the yin chakra someone has, also influences thinking speed, and your ability to study.]
[WIS: WIS or wisdom increases chakra regeneration and influences logical thinking.]
[Stat points: you gain 5 stat points per level which you can invest in any stat you wish.]
[HP/CP regeneration: this is the rate you regenerate HP and CP, everyone starts off with 100 regeneration for both HP and CP.]
[Permanent status effects/semi-permanent status effects: these are status effects that are either unremovable or only removable through specific sets of actions.]
Naruto hummed looking over his status screen again and sighed, his stats were very pitiful his only high stat was vitality for some reason and even then he couldn't really use the chakra it gave him since he didn't know how to use it.
Naruto also contemplated how he would raise his stats, 'I guess training would be the best thing to do since it said that I can increase my STR stat by training, this probably applies to the other stats as well so it would be best to get them as high as possible through training alone."

'huh, so I was correct.' Naruto smiled.
[Now that the host has a basic understanding of their status we will move on to the next function of the system, skills]
[Skill are special abilities that are either created by the system or can be learned through books and through training.]
[The host can view his skills by saying or thinking 'Skills'.]
Naruto was interested, he didn't think he would have any skills since he had never trained before but it didn't hurt to try right?

[Gamers body: lvl max]

'Oh?' Naruto looked interested in his two skills since he didn't think he would have any skills.
[The host can check the description of a skill by clicking on the skill.]
Naruto clicked on the first skill [Gamers body].
[Gamers body: lvl max]
[Grants the host the body of a gamer, it changes the body into that of a game character which requires no sleep, food, or water to function, the user can heal from any status effect as long as he doesn't drop below 0 health.]
Naruto read the description, although he was confused by a couple of words he understood the gist of it.
He then clicked on the next skill, [Gamers mind]
[Gamers mind: lvl max]
[Allows the host to think calmly and logically through any situation, negates killing intent, and genjutsu up to a certain level, does not allow any techniques to take over the users mind or body, grants immunity to mental disorders, allows the user to always be at a peace of mind.]
Naruto was shocked by this skill, he was wondering why he was so calm in this situation and why he could sit so comfortably, usually, he would be getting uneasy because of the amount of energy he had, he would also be freaking out about things and going around telling everyone because he wanted attention, he now realized that that was a stupid thing to do and instead acted calmly.
[Now we will be going on to the next function of the system, the inventory, the inventory is an infinite space where the host can store non-living things, some living things are exempt of this rule. Things will never go bad inside your inventory and will retain the state they are in when they were put into the inventory.]
[To summon the inventory simply say or think 'inventory'.]
Naruto thought about the uses of the inventory and thought it was quite useful, although he would put off testing it until later.
[Now we will be moving on to the next function of the gamer system, perks.]
[Perks are often times things you are born with and grant a boost to a person's stats, to gain perks the host needs to do quests or needs to do something amazing to be granted a perk.]

Once again Naruto followed the instructions of the system and thought 'Perks'.

Naruto didn't know what to think, the villagers were right, he really was the Kyubi, 'This can't be!' Naruto's mind was in disarray and his thoughts were jumbled, until a cooling sensation came through his mind and he could think again, he could see the logical explanation.
He wasn't the Kyubi, he was simply what it had been sealed inside in.
Naruto sighed, he didn't like panicking and he was lucky he had gamers' mind otherwise he would have already sped out the room to search for the Hokage.
After all, there were many questions to be asked.
Although it looked like the system didn't care as it continued with its explanation.
[As you can see the host has multiple perks which grant him an advantage over others but be aware other people also have perks.]
[Now we will move on to the final function of the Gamer System. Quests.]
[Quests are tasks/missions given by the system or someone else which grants the host rewards ranging from items, and money, to perks and skills.]
Naruto sighed again as he looked at the blue screen in front of him, he couldn't believe what was happening after all it wasn't every day that weird blue boxes would appear in front of you.
Another *Ding* notification brought him out of his thoughts.

Naruto looked surprised, he was happy that the system rewarded him for doing something so simple and obvious, he could already tell that he was going to like the system.
