"No, I am first."

Suddenly, that tense atmosphere disappeared but the people were still having a hard time digesting what Naruto just said.

Most of them were prepared to be a Ninja.

Every one of them was prepared.

But, nobody was prepared to kill. Maybe except for Sasuke, nobody here was ready to kill someone.

"Sasuke-Kun!"

Sakura shouted and rushed toward his desk. Ino did a similar thing but she seemed more concerned about the atmosphere in the room.

It didn't feel right. She might not be as much of a kunoichi, but she was still a Yamanaka.

If someone could read emotions through their expression, it was her. And, she saw fear in the eyes of most people and some of them were staring at Naruto.

It didn't take her long to figure out something was wrong with Naruto. More importantly, why was he even here?

Didn't he fail to graduate?

But, why does he have a Forehead Protector? And, why was he wearing a different set of clothes?

Her curious mind began to search for answers when she suddenly heard Sakura's rant.

"Naruto, GET OUT OF MY WAY"

Normally, Naruto's reaction would be to glare at Sasuke. After all, she was asking him to move because she wanted to sit next to him.

And, Naruto hated Sasuke' gut. Because all the time, he should be the one getting attention while ignoring everyone.

On the other hand, Naruto was trying to get everyone's attention while getting ignored.

This made him angry at Sasuke. But for some reason, he didn't feel angry this time. In fact, his mind was so much focused on the new Jutsu that he learned, that he simply stood up.

He turned around and gave the classroom one look with lazy eyes before finding a spot next to another girl.

She was a cute girl with bluish short hair and a baggy jacket covering her body. Without any thought, he simply walked next to her and sat down.

For a moment, there was a complete silence. Even Sakura seemed quite confused by this kind of silence.

Suddenly, someone was ticked off. Kiba rushed toward Naruto. Although he was surprised that Naruto killed someone, he wasn't going to let that intimidate him.

He rushed next to him and shouted.

"Naruto, that's my seat!"

Naruto raised his head and gave Kiba a lazy look before saying.

"Yesterday, One plus one would make two. But today, one plus zero would make one. That's my situation. But, for you, it would still make two."

Kiba tilted his head in confusion, unable to understand what that meant. Rage quelled inside of him as he barked.

"What the hell does that mean?"

Before Naruto could speak, a lazy boy with a pineapple-shaped haircut spoke.

"Do you have to be such a drag, Naruto?"

"I'm tired, Shikamaru." Naruto answered without hesitation.

Shikamaru paused for a moment and gave him a look of surprise before turning toward Kiba.

"He meant that if it was yesterday, he would've screamed just like Sakura. But that was yesterday for him. Not for you though since your scream is just like Sakura."

"And for that, I am getting screamed at, aren't I?"

As soon as he said that, Sakura and Kiba were about to shout at him but suddenly, the door opened.

Iruka walked in with some files in his hand. He looked at the class and noticed a strange atmosphere.

"What happened? And, where is Naruto?"

Iruka's eyes were stuck next to Sakura so he didn't even notice Naruto sleeping next to Hinata who was blushing madly.

"Iruka Sensei, I'm here." Naruto raised his hand and spoke from his seat.

"Ahh! Sorry, I didn't think you would be there. Anyway, let's start the class since this is your last class."

Iruka spoke while putting down the files.

Then, he glanced at Sakura and Kiba.

"Why are you two standing? There are empty seats. Sit down!"

Sakura and Kiba had no choice but to obey. After they sat down, Iruka began to lecture them about being a Genin.

Soon, it was time to make the team adjustments. After the sixth team, it was Team Seven.

"Team Seven; Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. Your Jonin Sensei will be Kakashi Hatake."

"Yes! True love won!"

Sakura shouted from her seat and every girl in the room glared at her, every girl except Ino and Hinata.

Hinata was only looking at Naruto while Ino was a bit curious about Naruto's reaction. He didn't show any.

"Team Eight; Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame, and Hinata Hyuga. Your Jonin Sensei will be Yuhi Kurenai."

"Team Nine is still going on. Team Ten; Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akimichi, and Nara Shikamaru. Your Jonin Sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi."

As soon as he said, Naruto raised his hand.

Now, Iruka and the class were interested. Iruka was interested because Naruto hadn't spoken a word while the class was interested in what Naruto would say.

"Yes, Naruto?"

"Sensei, you said that the team should be balanced, right?"

"Yes!"

"But, I can't see any balance between Team Seven, Eight, and Ten."

"What do you mean?"

Now, everyone's eyes were on Naruto. Suddenly, Sakura shouted.

"Naruto, who the hell are you to question Sensei?"

"Sakura shut up!"

Suddenly, Naruto snapped while releasing his 2% Killing Intent.

It made the entire class shiver. Iruka noticed something had changed in Naruto and couldn't help but feel worried.

"Sorry, but I have a lot on my plates for these two days so I don't want your scream to disturb my current peace."

Naruto apologized and then looked at Iruka.

"These three teams have something special but the way they are selected seems quite personal and influential."

"I am not blaming anyone but a team with Three Clans who work perfectly together, a team with three highly politically influential clans, and a team with two orphans and one civilian doesn't sound right to me."

At this moment, everyone who was sitting inside the Hokage's office reacted.

"Of course, that's not all. A team with Rookie of the Year, Dead-Last, and Top Kunoichi on Paper might sound good but then, there is another team filled with three trackers."

"Then, there is another team who already knows how to work together. Team is supposed to work together but unless it is a life and death situation, I don't see Team Seven working together."

"So Iruka Sensei, are my reasons acceptable to you?"

At this moment, Iruka didn't know how to answer. Indeed, it didn't look acceptable to him. But, before he could speak, Sakura screamed.

"Naruto, what do you mean by Top Kunoichi on Paper?"

Naruto turned his head and said.

"If you think you can defeat a serious and confident Hyuga in a fight then I will strip naked and dance on the street."

Poof!

Some of them couldn't hold back their laughter. At this moment, Naruto continued.

"It takes one moment, one second, one kill to change a person. Do you really think you can defeat Hinata in life and death battle with your current skills?"

"Let me give you my answer. No! Shy, Zero Confidence, and Zero Motivation Hinata extreme difficult but still wins. Shy, Zero Confidence but High Motivation Hinata High difficult but still wins."

"Shy, Confident, Motivated Hinata Mid Diffs you. Confident and Motivate Hinata Low Diffs You. Believe me on this one; Angered Hinata No Diffs you. That's why I said Top Kunoichi on Paper."

"Of course, you are good. If given proper Jutsu and training, I bet you can still remain stronger than Hinata. But as I said, one moment, one second, and one kill can change a person."

The entire classroom was silent. It seemed like Naruto was insulting Sakura but he truly wasn't. It wasn't Sakura's fault. Hinata had a stronger skill set but she lacked confidence and motivation.

But, they couldn't understand how much Naruto truly changed after a single kill.

Iruka who knew that Naruto had killed Mizuki understood Naruto's changes. He took a deep breath and said.

"He is right, class. All it takes is one moment and one kill to change a person. Since you are going to be a Ninja, killing would become normal for you."

"And, it will surely change you. But, I do not want you to change too much. This goes the same for you, Naruto."

Naruto shook his head and said.

"Don't worry, Iruka Sensei. I might have changed mentally but I am still physically dead last of the class."

At this moment, some wanted to laugh while some remained serious.

"As for what you said, it might be correct. But, right now, I can't change the teams." Iruka shook his head and spoke.

Suddenly, several leaves appeared in the classroom and alongside that, several people also appeared.

Third Hokage raised his eyebrows and asked.

"That might change, Iruka. I think Naruto has some fair points. But before we make any changes. I want to ask you something, Naruto. What would be the best Team Seven?"
