He had a brother... a big brother! All this time and he's already here! Naruto couldn't help but squirm in excitement at the prospect of having a older sibling as he overheard his parents discussion.

Quickly as he could the boy crawled away out of sight as his parents made their way outside still in tears. This caused him to frown.

'Why is mommy and daddy crying?' However he soon disregarded that notion and stood up on his pudgy feet as he waddled of towards his room.

Naruto heard many other things said about his other sibling but couldn't understand the meaning of a single word the old man said. The only thing he understood was that his potential older sibling was alone. No mama or papa! What was it like living alone? It sounded scary though..

No goodnight stories and kisses, sleeping alone in the dark, no hugs and no birthday presents! If he experienced that type of solitude he'd be grumpy and mean too.

Soon the child found himself unfortunately cornered by one of the many maids of the manor.

'Uh oh...'

"Young Master! What are you doing out here!?" The maid shouted as she picked him up and took him to his quarters. "Honestly... your such a mischievous little thing. Always sneaking off.."

"Hehe!" Naruto giggled as the maids cold heart melted from his cuteness alone.

*ahem* "This little incident may slide for now. Don't think I won't yell your mother about this though!" She coughed and huffed with a blush of embarrassment on her face.

'Oh no..." he thought as he could already feel the spanking he'd receive later today.

If one were in the sky over the vast forest below they would see a gaint trail of dirt dispersing into the air as an unknown object could be seen moving across the valley at incredible speed as a figure could be seem at the forefront of the commotion.

*huff...huff...huff*

It revealed none other than houzu as he could be seen dragging an impossibly large boulder by a rope.

Houzu watched the numbers slowly tick on by as he ran across the forest floor in a large circle. Disrupting the natural ecosystem and gaining the worried and curious attention from the townsfolk as he did so.

Was he an asshole for doing this? Yes. Did he care? No. The opinion and concern of others, besides a few, mattered very little to him.

'So that's what it was..' Houzu thought as steam emitted from his body. Signs that his body is once again changing due to his adaption skill.

In his mind palace, he perceived his reserve of power was a large ball water hovering in the sky above. Larger than any building he'd seen, to which he could siphon from it to fuel his body and abilities.

Then as a year went by it fell and turned into a large pond that never ceased to fill as he siphoned more away than ever. Now? It has grown to become a enormous lake.

Slowly growing larger as he absorbed more negative energy from his new enviorment. From the city folk and animals that dotted the land.

His chakra however was increasing quite nicely as well.

Ceasing his training regiment he threw the boulder to the side by the flimsy rope it was tied to like a bola.

"Ahhhh~" a girl cried.

Snapping his head towards the scream he saw a girl his own age cowering behind some bushes.

"Who are you?" He demanded menacingly as the girl coward in fear at his tone. Soon he metaphoricaly slapped himself in the face. This girl wasn't part of his village.. he eased off and tried again.

"Sigh~ I mean what are you doing here." He asked with less hostility. She seemed to have regain a bit of her courage and cleared her throat.

"M-my lord wishes for you to attend today's brunch ceremony. I was sent to guide you. Your team members are already attending the gathering." She said as formally as possible despite her obvious fear of him.

"I see... then lead the way please." Houzu said, he could feel a large group of shinobi in the trees all around him. More than likely to ensure the messengers protection.

Guess the daimyo was well aware of his criminal actions. Not surprising in the least. Thus the girl nodded and led them both to the palace. In which took half an hour to travel due to the her inability to cross large distances in a matter of seconds.

He was almost tempted during their walk to pick her up and run the rest of the way. Though the hidden shinobi would most likely interpret his actions as hostile and attack. To which he wanted to avoid.

Not because they could harm him, but because he promised Hiruzen that he would behave. If he did cause harm, or kill someone close to the daimyo the old man would more than likely have no choice but to put him in a cell. He may be his mentor, but he's still the hokage.

On the way the young servant had them stop by a clothing store in order to make him more presentable in front of the daimyo and his court. The girl seemed to regain a great deal of her confidence as she seemed to enjoy guiding him around the store and giggling at his clueless expression.

Even houzu had to admit the girl was pleasant company.

While a employee was measuring him in order to find out his size he turned his attention to her.

"I just realized something... I never got your name." Upon hearing his words she smiled and bowed.

"My name is Himari. Pleased to meet you." She said as the employee finished his measurements and presented a variety of different colored clothing.

Before he could choose himari chose a dark red ensemble to compliment his red hair.

'That was... flattering.'

He was indeed a surprising sight and had a frightening presence. The lord did say he was potentially dangerous and abnormal.

After finding him outside the city walls 'training', as his teammates put it, I truly believed the lord's words.

What she found was a pale boy her age dragging a boulder the size of a building around the forest in a gaint circle! Forget abnormal, he wasn't human! Especially how he was able to throw that same boulder away with ease as if it was weightless.

And he considered it a work out!?

However, as they made their way through the city she soon saw another side of him. A boy desperate for interaction. It's obvious he doesn't converse with many others often.

Her mother always taught her to see flaws in a person's personality and social cue's. Houzu uzumaki was one such person who had a great deal of them. Anti-social and aggressive towards people in general. But she could see he was trying to improve.

What kind of life has he lived to develope such a personality?

Once they came to the local clothing department she explained to him he needed to be dressed in more.. proper attire for the gathering.

To her surprise he was quite cooperative during the fitting. The only time he showed any negativity was when she chose his clothing color.

Honestly, to her he looked rather cute than threatening.

By the time they exited the establishment he was now wearing a traditional white and black kimono. It was rather obvious he never wore such a thing by the way he walked and rearrange the clothing.

Truly an interesting fellow.

'How long has it been since I had a meaningful conversation with someone my age...?' Houzu thought as he itched a certain spot on his back due to the unfamiliar fabric he was wearing.

'It's rather nice..' his eyes looked to Himari as she walked on ahead while occasionally looking at him. When she saw him looking back she gave him a smile.

He would be lying if he didn't consider her pretty. She bore white finely combed hair that draped down to her shoulders. Her eyes were a dark violet color that concealed her true emotions and her inner pupils were white instead of black. To top it all off she wore simple smile adorned with red lipstick.

Adorning her figure was a elegant violet kimono that matched well with her eyes. Giving her an air of high status and elegance.

'Cute..'

Other than this unexpected invite his day was rather pleasant. Although.. he would rather be training right now. Well, he did have a group of shadow clones practicing cursed energy and chakra control back out in the wilderness, so it's not a total loss.

"We're here" Himari announced, focusing back on his current situation he saw they were in front of a enormous palace. Home of the daimyo no doubt.

Both individuals made their way up the vast steps until they stood in front of a large pair of doors with a gaurd at each side.

"Please make way. A guest of the daimyo must pass." Himari spoke with professionalism. In response the two gaurds opened the doors to allow them entry without a second thought but kept their gaze on him.

'This should prove interesting...'
