14 Chapter 14 - A confession

{Houzu pov}

'Everything turned out better than i expected...' houzu thought as he was carried to his designated cell below the tower by the lovely origami master. Konan, the messenger angel of amegakure. A violet haired beauty with yellow irises, even with that akatsuki cloak he could tell she possessed a seductive body.

She used her unique bloodline to contain him in a skintight cocoon of paper as he was levitate to his cell.

After many minutes of silence they finally arrived with two adult genin on each side of the cell door. Once inside he was freed from his paper constraints but the chains remained.

Without saying a word she left him to his own devices as the door was shut and secured. Waiting for a time for the female Shinobi to leave the area, he quickly broke the chains and stretched his body and limbs.

At first he planned to detonate his own body and regrow from his severed arm the moment he was taken. But now he saw an opportunity. An opportunity to take the ultimate dojutsu. At least... one of them. Houzu doubted he could get both eyes.

Extending his hand to the ground he summoned small demonic insects similar to they're ember variants.

"Go, find the Rinnegan bearer. But stay out of his line of sight." With those commands the insects scurried off through cracks and the small barred window. For the time being, he brought up his status panel to see his recent progress he might have gained from his battle with obito.

His eyes momentarily widened at the huge gain from facing an enemy. Bur houzu quickly squashed that excitement due to not wanting to attract the two outside gaurds attention. At least not yet...

You must be asking why he hadn't healed his wounds? It's simple. What his plan entails involved his body. Regardless if it was injured or not.

[Reverse curse technique] - (High-Mid)

...

'God I love this technique~'

Like a tiny shock striking his brain, he received a notification from his insects that they found the bearer, and he was alone. Sleeping upright inside that strange machine keeping him stable.

'Good work, all of you.' Houzu communicated back as he closed his eyes and once he opened them again he was met with the pitiful image of nagato Uzumaki once more.

'How should I do this? Just have it pluck the eye while he's out. No, he'd instantly try to retaliate.' Continuing to think he was struck with a perfect solution. Neurotoxin.

Ordering a small group of insects to return he grew a flower from his palm. Like with his Paralyzing pollin technique, he tweeked the flower to produce a sap like liquid in its bud.

Taking out a small rice bowl from his inventory houzu tilted the flower upside-down causing the toxin to seep into the China. He rather loved this bowl, it was the first thing he stole in that putrid village.

While waiting for the insects to return he thought back to his time here. At first he was excited to be born in his favorite anime genre. Then he became bitter. Not towards the gods who sent him here. But to the villagers who had a iq lower than a child's.

Before he obtained his tremendous strength he was just a kid in the beginning with a abnormal healing factor. A child scorned by those who made him into the person he was now.

How could Naruto stay the same gutsy grinning fool he was after so much time being treated that way. He was treated this way for a mere two years and could barely take it anymore to the point of actually taking the lives of those citizens.

Not to mention the over charging of his clothes and necessities. Seeing the smug and sadistic smiles of the shop owners who got off bullying a child of a people. Then there was the beatings. 'The fox hunts' they called it. Though they refrained from shouting it to the heavens during the events in order to not be executed for breaking the 3rds law. The citizens were simple to outrun and avoid. It was the chunin and genin who wanted to harm, they were impossible to get away from.

Using him for kunai and lower rank jutsu practice, ambushing him and beating him black and blue, even bring him close to death a couple times. If not for his regeneration he would have died a long time ago.

That first year was truly hell... at least until the end. By that time he had gained the necessary strength and speed to fight back the citizens resorted to glares and spreading rumors. The shinobi however still tried but at that point my regen was far too fast for their 'torture methods and practice sessions' to be effective anymore. But they kept trying nonetheless.

Once the second year came on by my training with Hiruzen commenced. The old man told him everything, about the kyubbi incident, the reason everyone hated him, he even knew about the attempts on his life.

Explained that the other elders allowed those who committed the acts to run free. Said the acts would keep him in line. But Hiruzen didn't see it that way. They knew about his ever growing powers, saw him as a inevitable danger.

They aren't wrong...

Thus the old veteran wished to train him in order to prepare him for the rising danger he would face from those within the village itself. Although Hiruzen was the hokage, he felt his power was becoming limited by his former teammates.

Hiruzen believed he failed his predecessors. He would talk with him about his failures, his many mistakes during the 2nd and 3rd ninja war and his inability to stop his most promising pupil.

That man had so many regrets. As their bond grew he saw Hiruzen as a grandfather, someone to speak to and have an actual conversation with. Was the only person to actually comfort him during many of his mental breakdowns.

To be honest, lord 3rd was the main reason he stayed in that hellhole. Itachi was a friend, but not to the extent of keeping him there. Shinko was a kind girl but she was still an unknown.

*Bzzzzzz~*

Bringing himself back to the present he could hear the subtle sound of many wings. Opening his eyes he was just in time to see the group of insects fly through the barred window

'Right on time..' instructing the insects to dip their long stingers into the paralyzing toxin they quickly did so one by one. Once finished they made their trek back towards their target.

'Even as powerful as Nagato is, that frail body isn't. Being injected with hundreds of doses should be enough to get one of his rinnegan and continue my plan.' Houzu thought as a sadistic smirk made its way onto his face. Hearing the door open he schooled his features and saw the paper lady come in with a tray of food.

"Food? Aren't you going to sacrifice me to your God or something?" He asked sarcastically with a raised eyebrow. Konan however didn't show any sign of a reaction as she sat the tray onto the ground.

"Your death will bring a new age of peace to this world. But your time hasn't come yet. For now you must be kept healthy until that time comes. Now eat." With those words said she stood there and watched his every move.

Letting out a sigh he reached out and picked up the tray of food. Pulling apart the chopsticks he suddenly realized he had no idea how to use them. But he tried to do so anyway. End result? He was failing miserably.

Noticing his failed attempts to use the sticks she knelt down and arranged his hand in the correct way to uses them. Almost like a mother teaching her child. It was... nice. That not a feeling he got very often.

"Why are you helping me..." houzu asked with a hoarse voice. She seemed to notice his change in tone.

"You bear a wounded soul, you lack any form of etiquette or manners. Either you don't care for them or were never taught." Konan spoke as she held his other hand with her own.

"Hm, perfect guess. Since I'm not going anywhere I might as well give a confession." He chuckled dryly as she gave a nod.

"My time on this world has been shit. No one to truly take care of me, treated like a monster by others, tortured by ninja from my own village, all because they think I'm the so called holder of a 100 meter fox!" Houzu laugh almost maddeningly as he rose to his feet. Causing the tray to fall to the ground and spill its contents.

"Do you want to know the real kicker!? I'm not even the true houzu Uzumaki! I'm just a personality that came into being from having his memories erased! And it turns out the parents I was told died the day of the attack are alive! Living it up in a palace with two new children! While I have been scrounging around and trying my best to stay alive in a village that wants me dead!" He yelled as konans eyes widened in shock at his confession.

He wasn't acting... houzu truly felt this way. The reincarnator told tsunade that he didn't care anymore. But that was a lie he told himself to make him feel better. But he did care.

He cared that they abandoned the original, that they subjected him to a life of misery and hardship that would have pushed the original to go mentally insane.

"I felt so trapped there. Surrounded by nothing but enemies. Those I wished to destroy..." Looking down he gave a smile. "But then I met lord third and made a friend. Both who are probably worried sick for me right now." Suddenly he received news from his insects that the toxin was a success.

Without warning the middle of his chest began to crack and glow with heat. Konan's eyes widened as she stood back up and backed away. "H-how are you" She gasped as houzu chuckled.

"Looks like this us it for this body. I've done my best to restrict the range of the explosion. In theory this city and the surrounding enviorment will be wiped off the map." Konan's eyes widened in horror as she manifested her wings.

"You have less than 10 minutes..." he said as the floor Bagan to heat up as well.

Without hesitation she burst through the wall of the cell and flew towards her comrade as quickly as she could.

'Madara you fool! That boy wanted to be brought here! But it couldn't have just been to blow himself up! Unless...' her eyes widened in realization. "Nagato!"

Zooming up towards the top of the skyscraper she passed through an open window large enough to fit through and flew passed many hallways and soon entered into her friends private quarters.

What she saw made her heart freeze. Among many dead insects was madara attending to nagato who's left eye socket was vacant and bleeding profusely.

Running over she noticed he wasn't moving, Paralysis? Rummaging through a pouch in her cloak she retrieve a vial of anti toxin and fed it to her comrade who soon regained his mobility.

*Cough!* "Insects! They ambushed me while I was resting. One of them took my eye and flew off. Go after it!" Nagato struggled to say as konan shook her head.

"We can't do that. They boy is about to detonate his own body any minute now!" Konan shouted worryingly as 'madara' touched both of them.

"Hrrrrr... We will discuss this later. For now we retreat..." The mans tone was at the point of sounding worried but was masked with a tone of frustration as she could feel his hand shaking while he began to warp them away with his dojutsu.

In a few seconds they were gone...

'So they're gone huh...' houzu though as he looked to the insect holding a single Rinnegan gently in its tiny hands. Reaching out a hand he willed the eye into his inventory. Since it isn't attached to the user it wasn't designated as a living thing.

'Mission complete...i almost feel bad for doing this...' Closing his eyes he let go...

Suddenly everything was consumed by a bright flash light.

*BOOOOOOM*

In a split instance a enormous explosion was egnited, enveloping the entire rain village as the encompassing inferno reached the very clouds.

'Checkmate simp..'
