42 Chapter 42 - 'Friendly Spar'

''So you're saying, once they die, they can't be reincarnated again?'' Sukuna said with a heavy look on his face. 

''Correct, their spirit would collapse'' Maru said while playing with a lollipop in her mouth. 

''I see, thank you'' Sukuna said with a sigh as he stood up. 

''As for you, take care of yourself more. Your own spirit is about to collapse'' Maru said with slight worry in her tone. 

''Don't worry, I'm aware'' Sukuna said with a nonchalant smile as he walked towards one of the test cubes that contained a small animal with three tails behind it. 

''Weird, right? The arm you gave me, everytime I tried to create a human body, it would create a creature similar to a Tailed Beast but without its immense Chakra'' Maru said as she walked next to Sukuna and touched the cube with an obsessed expression. 

''Maru, I want you to do something for me'' Sukuna said while looking at the small creature that felt part of him. It looked like a black cat with the tip of its three tails red as blood. Its eyes were closed as it was floating in the liquid while being curled up. 

Maru looked at him as he said, ''Find out everything regarding Uchiha Madara's family. Find out where they are buried. Find the corpse of Tajima Uchiha and bring me his eyes'' 

Maru's eyes opened in shock as she asked, ''You mean Uchiha Madara's father?'' 

''Correct, don't ask questions. Until I have confirmed something, I can't answer your questions'' Sukuna said as Maru could see the confliction in his eyes. 

''Alright, as long as you promise you won't try anything stupid and make your spirit collapse, okay? After all, I haven't gotten any children yet.'' Maru said with a lewd smile that gave Sukuna chills. 

''….I promise, I have to go now, I have to cook dinner" Sukuna said as he hastily took a step back. 

''It's 01:00pm, that excuse won't work on me'' Maru said as she took a step closer and only stood a few inches away from him with a predatory smile on her face. 

If it wasn't because of her complicated past, Sukuna wouldn't have hesitated but now..... 

''Cya'' Sukuna's voice fell as his figure disappeared in smoke, making Maru's eyes go wide as she realized she was under a Genjutsu. 

'That brat is getting stonger by the day.... Hehe, one day you won't escape' Maru said with an obsessed grin as she continued her research. 

Sukuna appeared again in his backyard as Kushina's teasing voice sounded through his head, 

{I thought for sure you would eat her up whole, especially those breasts, Tsunade-san's are the only ones comparable} 

''Oi, even though she is a woman now. She spent most her life without a gender, it feels weird'' Sukuna said with a deadpan expression as Kushina shrugged her shoulders as Sukuna made her appear at his side, 

{That's because she is the same as you, a creation} Kushina said with a shrug as Sukuna looked at her with an inquiring look, causing her to continue to talk, 

{Minato always had questions regarding her birth, so I searched through the books when he became Hokage. Her father, Isao, was a scientist. His mother was a helper in his laboratory. It kind of speaks for itself considering you now know she never had a gender before} 

Sukuna's mind spun as he remembered how easily she had accepted his offer. Yes, although she might be obsessed with research, but she threw an entire decade worth of work into his hands just so she could research him? 

That would be far-fetched. Unless... She could relate to his past. 

''Everything just gets weirder, let's just continue studying Fúinjutsu before my brain explodes'' Sukuna said with a bitter smile as he took a seat on the couch while Kushina just smiled with an evil smile and started teaching him.

Over the next week, many people were informed about the official enthronement of Sukuna as the new Hokage. Although some held some double feelings, many were in favor considering he was a perfect Jinchuuriki while his new rules were truly benifitting the people. 

Meanwhile, Sukuna had been focussing his mind on learning from Kushina who happily helped him. When she sealed herself, she was consciouss yet unable to feel anything which was like being trapped in endless cycle. 

Now she finally had someone to talk to and who seemed equally obsessed with Fúinjutsu as her! 

However, over the days she noticed what kind of freak he actually was. The more he got into it, the faster he learned. 

After a mere week, he had all the basics down while he even started to learn some advanced Fúinjutsu! 

It took her six months to reach the same stage! And she was a genuis in the Clan! 

'And I boasted about my talent in front of him, no wonder he laughed' Kushina said to herself with a bitter smile as Sukuna nonchalantly said, ''I finished it'' 

Kushina shook awake and hastily looked at the scroll with desperation, hoping to see a slight mistake... Yet there were non. 

{*Huhhum*…. A..almost the same speed I used back in the day! You're quite good} Kushina said with a hand in front of her mouth and her eyes closed. 

''I see, you definitely are a genuis!'' Sukuna said with an honest expression while internally grinning. 

Kushina felt bad for lying as she saw Sukuna honestly complimenting her and opened her mouth but didn't say anything. 

{A...anyway, lets continue} Kushina said as she wanted to change the subject, but a knock on the door interrupted them. 

''Give me a moment" Sukuna said with a bitter smile as he went to open the door. 

In front of his door stood not just Mikoto, but also Itachi and Sasuke that seemed to be carrying a large coffin. 

''Are we interrupting?'' Mikoto asked with a gentle smile as Sukuna held the door open, ''Come in'' 

Sukuna led the three and sat on the couch next to Kushina while they sat on the couch opposite of him. Mikoto had a warm smile on her face while Itachi and Sasuke just sat waited for her to talk. 

''Well, we kind of wanted to repay you for giving us the chance to be a family again so we got a present for you'' Mikoto smiled with a naughty smile which peaked Sukuna's interest as he looked at the coffin. 

Sasuke didn't have his previous cold expression all the time as he seemed quite cheerfull, even grinning sheepishly as he took of the lid of the casket, revealing a blond-haired woman with red lipstick and a purple/black vest and pants that complimented her amazing figure. 

Sukuna's eyes turned into shock as he laid eyes on the woman which greatly amused the three of them while Kushina laughed out loud. 

''Just in what world....'' Sukuna looked at them as Mikoto smiled and pointed at Sasuke, 

''Sasuke came up with the idea and Itachi and me went to get her'' 

''It's never so simple, tell me the truth'' Sukuna replied adamantly as he calmed himself down. 

Sasuke grinned while even Itachi showed a rare smile as Mikoto followed up, ''It truly was that simple, the Raikage's position is as unstable as never before, their defense was severely lacking for the protection of a Jinchuuriki'' 

Sukuna couldn't find the words before he burst out laughing, ''This is actually the perfect present. But I won't take it for free, if you need something in the future, just go to the finance department or come to me'' 

Mikoto shook her head, but Sukuna was adamant about it, only giving her the chance to agree to his statement. 

''I would love to stay longer, but we're quite exhausted'' Mikoto said with a polite bow as she stood up as Sukuna gave a warm smile. 

''Don't worry, take a long rest. Thank you'' Sukuna thanked her as she gave Itachi a glance as he stood up, causing him to smile lightly and left with her, leaving Sasuke behind. 

After the two of them left, Sasuke actually bowed towards him with a genuine expression. 

''Thank you for everything'' 

Sukuna looked at the kid and smiled lightly, he walked towards him and ruffled his hair. 

''Naruto lives next to here, go train with him. Although your team was abandoned, I do still want you two to train together'' 

Sasuke looked at him and asked, ''I wanted to ask you by the way, do you know why Sakura left the village?'' 

Sukuna's eyebrow raised as he asked, ''She left? I didn't expect that'' 

''Yes, due to her parents. But I don't know more, hence why I asked'' Sasuke said with a bitter smile. 

''I see, just focus on your training. I will see if I can find out more information'' Sukuna said as Sasuke said his goodbye aswell, going towards Naruto's home instead of his own. 

… 

''You're too rigid Kurenai'' Sukuna said with a light smile as he dodged Kurenai's attacks with his hands behind his back while Kurenai desperately struck out. 

''Aah dammit! Why do I have to train Taijutsu?!'' Kurenai said with a wrong expression, it had been 30 minutes and didn't strike him once while Sukuna was wearing weights that seemed to press his feet into the ground every step he took. 

''Because Itachi could literally slap you around with his eyes closed if we talk about Genjutsu, what are you going to do if someone else could do the same? Besides, even if you wanted to, Genjutsu doesn't work on me'' Sukuna said with a light smile which made Kurenai grit her teeth in frustration. 

Sukuna looked at Kurenai and suddenly twisted his body sideways as his knee flew up and made impact with someone's stomach that tried to sneak attack him as the figure groaned. 

''Too slow, Rin'' Sukuna grinned as he body bend backwards, causing another shadow to fly over him and create a small crater. 

''Mikoto, where is the gentleness?'' Sukuna asked with a bitter smile as Mikoto showed a 'gentle' smile, 

''Ara~...Holding back in a spar is disrespectful'' 

Sukuna smiled widely as his eyes opened, ''Indeed'' 

Three of them felt their backs tremble as a flash of lightning appeared at Sukuna's previous spot while his figure appeared with a nonchalant expression at Kurenai's side while holding a wooden sword. 

Kurenai couldn't even react before her face was swatted into the ground, creating a crater as if a small meteorite made impact. 

''One down....'' Sukuna said with a maddened grin as even Mikoto with her Sharingan activated couldn't track his movements. 

Rin couldn't even react as a pair of arms hugged her from behind as she hastily said, ''U...um, please be gentle?'' 

Sukuna's soft voice rang through Rin's ears with an enchanting tone, ''Nope~'' 

He grabbed one of her arms as his leg swept her own from underneath her while drawing a beautiful arc before slamming her into the ground. 

''Two down....'' Sukuna smiled with a demonic grin as Mikoto felt chills run over her spine. 

She knew of her late-husband's Mangekyo Sharingan yet never feared him, but this kid..... this kid made her very being shudder to the core. 

Now she finally realized that she made a mistake after listening to his request to train together when Itachi went to teach children at the school while the classes for Naruto and Sasuke still resumed and took up most of their morning while they trained together in the afternoon with some other children. 

''Why do you look so scared Mikoto-chan~~….'' Sukuna said with a teasing tone as his expression was horrifyingly amused. 

''U...umm, maybe we should take a break?'' Mikoto said with a forced smile as a voice suddenly rang through her ears that caused her to flinch. 

''Nice try, but nope'' Sukuna 'gently' said as his arms caressed her waists, as Mikoto trembled because of his touch, her vision suddenly blurred as she fell her body give out and sank through her knees into Sukuna's arms who gently caught her before carrying her to one of the three comfortable lounge chairs. 

She didn't know what happened, but the moment Sukuna's touch caressed her body, she felt small tingles grow into bigger ones until her body felt like it was electrified as she lost feeling from the shoulders down. 

Sukuna's expression returned to normal as he gave her a teasing smile, causing Mikoto's cheeks to turn slightly rosy as she felt the feelings return to her body... including his arms wrapped around her waist without any opportunity to escape. 

Sukuna continued to carry the unconscious Rin and Kurenai to a lounge chair as well and healed their injuries. 

He wasn't gentle with them, but they knew that beforehand. In the real word, mercy wasn't a thing. They better learn that now than to never be able to learn it because they died before they could. 

''Sukana-chan, you should really learn how to handle ladies...'' Mikoto mumbled at him with a wronged expression. 

''Then teach me, I'm open for anything'' Sukuna winked, causing Mikoto's eyes to open in shock as her cheeks grew rosy while the translucent Kushina burst out in laughter, 

{You even managed to get Mikoto flustered, you're indeed something brat} 

''….Shameless brat''
