62 Training with Sensei

Yoriichi P.O.V

We went to the Uzukage's office to report about the completion of our mission.

"So you have completed your first mission without suffering any injuries and complications. That's great news!" Grandpa said

"Grandpa, This mission was too easy so give us a B-rank mission next time." I said my thoughts honestly

"Oh Young Yoriichi, we have to follow protocol. Genin can only get C rank missions for the first 6 months of their career." He said

"I agree with Yoriichi, Uzukage sama. This mission was too easy for the kids. Yoriichi didn't even get to participate and the others didn't even get a challenge. If this goes on they would become overconfident and die." Genkai Sensei said

"We are standing right here you know." kaito said to sensei

"Besides, This would help me and these kids earn more money." Genkai sensei continued without bothering to reply.

"Fine, I will give you a B rank mission as your next mission." Grandpa said to which we happily jumped in the air except Kaito obviously who was too lazy too jump.

"Let's do the next mission right away." said Chino

"Not so fast, You will first have to train with me for another week before we take another mission." Genkai Sensei said

- The next day--

The next day we started training with sensei.

"Alright so let's start with Yoriichi. Yoriichi, Can you store the black rods you create in your personal dimension for future use?"

"No sensei unlike jutsus, I can't store the black rods in my personal dimension for future use. I have to create them on the spot or store them in scrolls with storage seals. I can store them just for an hour in the dimension before they disappear. I have tried to increase the time but it hasn't increased yet." I answered.

This was one of the limitations of my Dojutsu as I can't store the rods I create in my personal dimension for more than an hour after which they just disappear into thin air. If not for this limitation, I would have stored millions of these black rods in the past year and rained them on my enemies.

"Very well then, You would work on the number of rods you can create at one time. Your current limit is 15, I want it to be 20 by the end of this week. So you would work on creating as many rods as you can repeatedly to increase your limit. I know creating these rods doesn't take too much of your chakra so no excuses. This might also help you increase the stage of your Dojutsu." Genkai sensei said

"But I managed to increase the number of rods I can create by just 10 in the past year and every rod takes longer time than the previous one." I said

"No excuses, If you didn't manage to do it, You all will not be able to go to the B rank mission instead we will take a C rank Mission." He said in a nonchalant manner

"That's not FAIR!" I shouted but he just completely ignored me and moved to Chino.

"Chino you have started to rely too much on your Dojutsu and your control on iron rich water. You just have water affinity which is to be honest no use to you except for using it to create a lot of water to increase your red water supply. You don't even make use of puppet arts that you learned in the academy." He said

It was true. Chino only relied on her Dojutsu abilities and her ability to control the red water. Water ninjutsu was useless to a water bender like her except for using it to create water or water clones.

"I would have made you learn other elements but it would take a lot of time. Since you have a stronger physique thanks to Yoriichi's breathing technique, we will work on your physical attributes. You will start by learning body flicker jutsu. Seriously why haven't you learned it yet? After that you will focus on taijutsu and using shurinkens, Kunais etc"

Chino nodded and he moved to Jiro next.

"You focus on Akimichi clan techniques and Uzumaki taijutsu a lot. You don't make use of your high amount of chakra that is granted to you by both of these clans. You have two affinities, Earth and fire. Last week I made you focus on Earth style jutsus but you didn't even use them in yesterday's battle so what's the point of learning them. This week you will focus on fire style jutsus and will spar against my earth clone while using ninjutsu to make it a habit."

I agreed with him since Jiro is not taking advantage of his huge chakra reserves.

I have started to respect Genkai sensei as a sensei. He is stronger than Kakashi, I don't think he would faint with chakra exhaustion either every battle and most importantly he teaches us something useful except something like 'abandoning your teammates you are worse than a scum' catchphrase. He is the best Sensei we could have gotten.

Lastly he moved to Itsuki and Kaito.

"Itsuki you have improved your chakra control in the past week so now you would fully focus on wind style jutsus and like Jiro you would also fight my clone with them. Kaito you would focus on taijutsu and bukijutsu."

Itsuki nodded but Kaito complained by saying "But that would require a lot of running around and a lot of working out."

"That's why I want you to do that to get rid of your laziness." Genkai sensei said lazily.

'Kettle calling the pot black' I thought

We then went to our respective tasks. I created a batch of 15 black rods every 5 seconds. Continued doing it for sage knows how many times. At one time when the entire ground was riddled by it, I stored as many as I could in my storage scrolls and for the rest I had to make them disappear. Making black rods took chakra but it was less than a D rank jutsu per rod. Once my chakra got completely depleted, I used the chakra of my scabbard. Once I used one/ fifth of its chakra my chakra would have already been recovered so I used it.

It kept my training going without any interruption as well as it was a good method that I discovered to increase my chakra reserves.

By the end of the week I managed to increase the number of rods I can create to 21 and not just 20. The others also managed to complete their respective tasks. So it was time for us to do a B rank mission.
