Clash between two S rank Shinobi(2)

Mom and dad went into their positions. I and Grandpa were a little far away from the battlefield since we didn't want to be caught between the crossfire. But we could see everything perfectly clear.

As soon as grandpa said "Begin".

Both mom and dad rushed at each other.

Dad punched but missed mom as she dodged him with pure finesse and speed.

The punch was devastating as it caused deep cracks on the ground and also left a large crater at the centre of the cracks.

'This is bullshit. This Taijutsu is as good as Tsunade.'

They continue to have a taijutsu battle. Dad with his superior strength and Uzumaki taijutsu was on the aggressive but mom with her superior speed managed to dodge his every attack and sometimes delivered her own.

After some time, Dad backflipped and got a certain distance away from mom and smiled. As if mom had a sudden realisation her eyes widened.

"Too late honey" Dad said and made a hand sign.

"Fuinjutsu: Gakidou Sabaku (Hungry Desert)"

The ground mom was standing on suddenly had various codes and symbols written on it and turned into quicksand. It started pulling all the sand around mom's feet and then slowly began swirling, pulling them gradually into the sand. Mom tried to jump out of it without any success.

"How and when did he create the seals? Did he create them before the battle?" I asked grandpa.

"Hahaha, No he created it during the battle itself while he was moving around the battlefield. Level-5 fuinjutsu grandmasters can use their own chakra as ink. Haru applied his chakra using his feet and drew the formula for this jutsu. Your mom let her guard down there which is unlikely her. Besides Haru is not done yet, he didn't just create just one fuinjutsu seal but two." Grandpa explained to me and I was surprised that he managed to create two seals without even me and mom knowing about it.

At the same time dad made another hand seal,

'Fuinjutsu: Suna Shoryu (Sand Dragon)'

It created a dragon from the swirling of sand underneath mom which was hardened by dad's chakra. The dragon shot small blasts of sand from its mouth.

Mom though was ready for it and used a jutsu of her own.

'Kaizen Hyougai No Jutsu [Glacier Armor]'

An Armor made out of ice was formed over mom. It looked heavy but mom managed to break out of the quicksand and created an ice spear out of thin air without any handsigns and smashed the sand dragon with it. The Armor seemed flexible and didn't hinder her movement in fact it looked like it increased her speed and power.

"Hanako uses this jutsu as she doesn't have much strength from her Uzumaki lineage, so she uses this jutsu to increase her speed and attack power. It also allows her to freeze the surrounding moisture to the point she can create any weapon she wants without any handsigns." explained grandpa

Dad didn't seem to have a change in his expression and I could sense that he was charging some chakra in his fist.

"Sabaku Bakuhatsu (Desert Explosion)"

After charging his fist with chakra, dad slammed his knuckles into the sand, sending what looks like a shockwave of sand at mom.

But mom managed to dodge it so I thought, the sand exploded and the force of it slammed to mom.

I didn't understand how it hit mom even when she managed to dodge it so I turned to Grandpa who already knew what I was thinking.

"Your dad is called a genius for a reason. This jutsu is more complicated than it looks. After charging his fist with chakra, Haru slammed his knuckles into the sand, sending what looked like a shockwave of sand at Hanako.

In reality, he is delaying the force of the punch and making it travel beneath the sand at Hanako. Once the force has reached the desired place, He can make it explode. So the first attack was just a faint, the real attack came afterwards."

'Wow, I already thought fuinjutsu was awesome but it's even more awesome than I thought. Dad is practically using sand like Gaara without any kekkei genkai or Shukaku.

Mom's Armor had some missing chunks and I could see she was somewhat injured.

She did handsigns for another jutsu.

"Koori Chiyu No Jutsu [Ice Healing Technique]"

This jutsu started healing mom with the help of ice.

Grandpa seemed impressed with this Jutsu and said "What a wonderful jutsu Hanako has managed to create. Your mom can't do medical ninjutsu but she managed to create her own healing art. Truly another genius in her own right.

By using moisture in the nearby area, Hanako is able to place this moisture over the bleeding over the wound and caused the ice to seal itself over the injury. This will stop the blood flow from the wound and thus created a bandage of ice that is entirely flexible. This is not a permanent healing, but it is quite useful when one is in danger of losing a substantial amount of blood."

She followed it with another jutsu

"Koori Tsubame No Jutsu [Ice Swallow Technique]"

By manipulating the moisture in the atmosphere she formed a rather large group of sharpened kunai shaped icicles. These icicles were aimed towards dad and were able to curve around some obstacles like trees.

Dad used a combination Jutsu of fire style: fire ball jutsu and wind style: breakthrough which managed to melt the ice before it reached dad.

This battle was truly at another level and they weren't even going all out.
