Author's Notes

Trigger Warning: SWEARING, SUICIDE ATTEMPT, SELF-HARM, DEPRESSION, SUCCESSFUL SUICIDE, no seriously, this story will be some dark shit. Not for light reading.

Summary: An Uchiha child is one of many poor children born with a weak body, but strong and strange powers. He is also one of the few survivors. However, his power is special, different, unique. This character will have powerful spiritual power, but his body will be a glass cannon, which will play an important role in the story. He will have several diseases relating to his powerful Yin or Spiritual chakra and his Yang or Physical chakra deficiency.

Basic Terms You Need to Know (BTW, Shinobi anatomy will be changed):

* Kagenokami (Shadow Spirits): Sentient beings that take the form of shadows to disguise their true forms, feed off of Yin energy to replenish their forms, and can Bond onto children, or specifically, infants. They emit Shadow Energy constantly, but usually they experience spikes in Shadow Energy emitting immediately after feeding.

* Shadow Energy: Energy that is constantly emitted by Kagenokami and is incredibly powerful but unstable. This Energy can only be used by Kagenoko, since when the two are Bound, Shadow Energy emitted by the Kagenokami is funneled straight into the Kagenoko's chakra reserves.

* Kagenoko (Shadow Children): Children with too much Yin energy who end up being bound to and fed upon by the Kagenokami. Only a few have survived past infancy and used Shadow Energy for the first time. Depending on how much Yin chakra they have, they can attract and be Bound to anywhere from 1 to 50 Kagenokami at a time.

* The Bond between Ko (Child) and Kami (Spirit): When a Kagenokami decides to feed upon a child, they latch onto the infant's chakra aura and slowly sap away the Kagenoko's Yin chakra, while the Shadow Energy emitted by the Kagenokami is funneled straight into the Kagenoko's chakra reserves. Normally, the infant would die after one half of their chakra core was completely sapped away, but every once in a while, an infant will survive, through various different means. The survivors will be able to use Shadow Energy by the time they hit 5 years.

* Chakra Core: The part of the chakra pathway system from which raw, unconcentrated chakra is constantly generated. Located in the solar plexus region and surrounded by chakra coils, this is where physical or Yang energy collected from the body's cells and spiritual or Yin energy collected from the soul and the mind are moulded together to form basic chakra. The chakra generated by this process is raw and unfiltered, so it isn't possible to use this basic chakra immediately. It has to go through the process of filtration before it can be used. The ratio between Yin to Yang chakra is shown here, but the ratio can only be seen in full definition by Byakugan and Rinnegan, though Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan can see the silhouette, and Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan can see it, even though it is slightly hazy to the EMS.

* Chakra Coils: This is where raw chakra is concentrated and filtered, before it enters the chakra pathway system. Surrounding the chakra core, these coils are vital to chakra production and cannot be affected by Gentle Fist.

Major Changes:

- Sakura and Hinata will be useful, for once. My story, my choices.

- Sasuke will be good, and he'll know the truth about the Uchiha coup and massacre.

- Naruto will have Mokuton, and will be smarter.

- Obito will live. (How is a surprise.) Itachi will also maybe live, if I want him to.

- There will be a new Tobi, with different powers.

- Naruto will be abused, hurt and depressed in this fanfic, because honestly, people would do much worse than just ostracizing Naruto. Kishimoto just didn't want to show it, as it would be brutal, and kids usually read those manga. They would hate him and want him dead, because they're human. What we hate, we hurt.

- The Third's law exists here and people who violate it can be killed with no repercussions.
