2 So the Curse brews
Naruto got up from the roof and felt that staying there and hear them will only make him feel worse, so he left the house, and went to the forest.
That didn't go unnoticed by anyone from the family. Menma, only acted like he didn't see it, He bowed his head and mumbled about how useless a brother he has. Jiraiya petted Menma's head, closed his eyes, knowing that it was his fault.
Flashback 2 years ago-
"What? The Toad Sage gave a prophecy?" Minato asked quickly at what they were just heard.
"The child of the Fourth Hokage and his wife, born as a genius that equal to none, holding powers that existed only in ancient times, will bring the world into an era peace or chaos. "
Minato was left speechless at his sensei words.
Kushina was shocked, but asked, "We have four children, how would we know which one of them it is?"
"Well, considering the part of the power from ancient times, it is probably talking about the Kyuubi, with that it's probably either Menma, Narumi, or Mito. So to make sure none of them fall into the path of chaos, they must be seen as heroes and live life full of happiness. Orochimaru, Tsunade, and I will do our best to train them right. "What do you mean?!" Both Minato and Kushina said together.

"But they are just kids! I agree that all of them depend on him, but he is their older brother, isn't it completely natural?" Kushina shouted at Jiraya.
"Perhaps you are right Kushina but what if one day Naruto will come to be an obstacle to any of them?! For example Menma! If he is the child of prophecy and his jealousy will one day came to completely take over his heart, he might fall in the path of chaos!" Jiraya answered back Kushina
Kushina and Minato both didn't know how to reply to that... Minato took a deep breath and said: "I understand your point, but you ask me to put Naruto aside and put all of my attention in Mito, Menma, and Narumi?"
"Yes, Minato. It's not forever, just for their childhood, I'm asking you that for the sake of the world, I promise you that after that we will compensate Naruto!"
Minato and Kushina looked at each other before they closed their eyes - At that day they decided that they will come to regret it for the rest of their lives.
Flashback end -
Minato closed his eyes as pain deeply came from his heart. 'Naruto, I'm not qualified to be your father, but I promise you, I will compensate you for that.' He promised to himself.
While Minato was in the middle of self-reflection Kushina was no different 'Naruto... I'm so sorry! Your mother left you behind, no excuse in this world is enough for you to forgive me.' Tears slowly formed in her eyes as she couldn't bear to see his eyes that were craving love so much.
Orochimaru despite not being the most sympathetic man still felt pain for the young boy. He looked at Jiraiya and thought to himself 'I hope that prophecy of yours is right Jiraiya because this boy starting to lose faith in the world.' While reminding in the moment of Naruto eyes losing their light, despite it being for a moment.
North Forest of Konohagakure-
Naruto was standing in front of a waterfall, as he thought to himself 'If they don't want me to be part of them, I will give them their wish. From today, I'm no longer Namikze, only Naruto." He said while looking at the reflection in the water, the change in his eyes reflected his determination.
6 Years Later -
*Konoha's Academy*
The Academy is the place where the young learn how to be a Shinobi, it teaches them all the basic needs from knowledge and strategy making to the physical needs of a Shinobi.
The classroom was very quiet and everyone was listening, but, the happiness and excitement were visible on a lot of students' faces. Not because of the lesson that was being taught by Umino Iruka, but because of this the last day of the Academy.
In front of the class, sitting Namikaze Menma with Uchiha Sasuke. Right next to them is Hyuga Hinata and Uchiha Satsuki. Next to them are The leaf princess Naruto and Menma sisters, Namikaze Narumi and Namikaze Mito.
All of them were the top contenders for the rule of the number one rookie of the year!
At the back of the class on the left side next to the window sat Namikze Naruto. The dead-last of the class.
"Well, this is the end of my lesson and also my last one, It was amazing to teach all of you, the next generation of the village, I will meet all of you in the next class for the passing exam." He said while walking toward the door of the class.
When he opened it a bucket of water fall on his head and the class laughed. Iruka's head grew several times larger and he yelled "MENMA!!"
"Hahaha, you always fell for it, Iruka-Sensei" Menma laughed at his victory.
While Iruka was in the middle of yelling at Menma, Naruto stood up and silently left the class.
Seeing him most of the class just ignored him, Menma looked at him before ignoring him and saying how useless his brother was to Sasuke was, which Sasuke merely looked at him and said nothing, thinking how an idiot like Menma is even strong.
Mito looked at her brother leaving and felt heartache, the truth is that she never hated Naruto, or wanted to act cold toward him, But because of one stupid time that she has listened to a stupid fox, she hurt her beloved older brother.
