46 Death?

"We have to stop him, he wants to absorb the Gedo mazo and acquire the power of the Rikudo," I yell, as I urge Itachi to run faster towards him.

"We won't make it in time," Itachi says, a little desperate in his voice

"Damn, it was my mistake I had to foresee it" I say softly, to myself, but apparently Itachi seems to have heard me

"Nobody can predict the real course of the battle, not even you Raijin" he tells me, trying to console me

After these few seconds of exchanging a few words with Itachi, I see in the distance that Madara is already on top of the Gedo mazo, ready to absorb it, and I can't help it.

The Gedo mazo disappears in a vortex, directed towards Madara's body. After that what reappears is a Madara with white hair, and horns on the head.

I look behind him, and I see some black balls floating "you have to tell the others, to be careful of those black balls behind him" I say turning to Itachi

"Where is Naruto?" I ask, noticing the lack of him, as usually, in these situations he is very noisy

"When you were fighting with Madara, he decided to go help out in the battle against Obito, and he left a clone with us. And at the moment he is fighting with Obito, in his dimension of him, with Sasuke and Kakashi. " He tells me with a frown on his face

"So there is no one who can help us against Madara" I say with a sigh

Itachi is forced to drop the technique, to avoid drilling, and uses the Jutsu of the earth wall, to stop the attack.

The defense, strangely, seems to stop the attack, but only because it was wanted by Madara, who in the meantime has already approached us, flying. He kicks Itachi, sending him more than five hundred meters away.

"Now we are alone, it was nice to fight against you, but now it's over. One day maybe we'll see each other again" he says using his staff as a sword, I strike a blow towards me.

I avoid the first shot, but I see that the other floating black balls also turn into pointed arrows, heading towards me.

Thanks to my animal instinct, I manage to avoid attacks by a whisker, with only minor injuries, however, perhaps due to those annoying black balls, the wounds do not seem to stop bleeding. If we go on like this, I'll bleed to death, those things can hurt even my elementalized body.

I try to throw a Thunder Bolt, but it is blocked by one of the balls, which spreads out to protect Madara

I have to get to Itachi and the other Kages, so maybe we can try to push him back before Naruto and Sasuke arrive.

I throw another Thunder Bolt at him, which is parried again, but I use the momentum of the explosion, to give me speed towards Itachi

There are only a few meters

"Itachi, let's fight together," I yell at him when I meet his gaze

I am less than a meter away from Itachi, when from my shoulders, I feel a disturbing sensation, I turn around, and see a black spear rushing towards Itachi.

I see Itachi not noticing the incoming spear.

I can't divert it

I try to open my eyes, but what I see is only darkness.
