7 Chapter 7 : Back

They entered through one of the back doors of the village where they were interrogated one by one despite their health conditions.

Mihara walking with crutches after ten minutes of interrogation was able to enter the village.

The country was at war and spies were numerous, Konoha is extremely cautious about this, Mihara even noticed that he was being watched even after leaving the main gate.

"The leaders of Konoha are really careful."

Walking through the streets of the city on crutches, he observed his surroundings.

Konoha was a nice village, the air was warm and the weather was beautiful with a clear sky without clouds.

Mihara who had come to this world in the land of snow could not help but take a deep breath.

He continued to walk through the streets while observing his surroundings and he quickly noticed that despite the busy streets the mood of the passersby seemed low, the village was even slightly quieter than he remembered.

He continued his exploration of the village and stopped for a moment to admire the three faces carved on the cliff overlooking the village.

He sat on a bench in a small park nearby, resting from his long walk through the streets of the village before heading into a large alley with several stores specializing in equipment sales.

The sound of hammers striking metal echoed down the street, several men carrying wooden crates back and forth between the streets.

Mihara walked towards one of the older stores but didn't go directly inside, he went around the store and knocked on a small door.

"Yes I'm coming!"

He heard footsteps and a few seconds later a middle-aged woman with bun hair wearing a scarf of workman's clothes and sweating opened the door with a surprised look before hugging him.

"My little Mihara, you're okay!"

"Ouch Aya I'm hurt you're hurting me!"

Mihara groaned in pain and the woman named Aya released her embrace with a smile, before suddenly slamming her skull violently making Mihara fall to the ground holding her skull with pain.

"Ouch aunt Aya why are you hitting me!? It hurts!"

"Why am I hitting you? you little brat you dare to apply for the first ones without taking our advice!!! If you weren't hurt I would break your bones myself!"

"Who makes so much noise?"

A slim, muscular middle-aged man with black hair and a face that was so charming and gentle that he could have been mistaken for a woman if his clothes and musculature were not those of a man came out of the house with a large hammer on his shoulders.

He then looked down at Mihara who was on the ground and suddenly raised his hammer and smashed it towards Mihara who rolled hastily on the ground dodging the hammer which came to crush the ground.

*Bam*

Mihara saw the hammer embedded in the ground and unconsciously swallowed a mouthful of saliva and looked stiffly and nervously at the man in front of him.

"Hello.. Uncle Niikura."

"You still dare to call me uncle? I don't have nephews like you! My name is no longer Niikura Tamasaburo if I don't break every bone in your body today!!!"

Niikura said these words with a ferocity that didn't match his androgynous face as Aya patted her husband's shoulder to calm him down.

"Calm down honey, he's hurt, you can't hit him.

Mihara looked at Aya gratefully but the next words she spoke made him want to hit her face with the hammer.

"Wait until he heals we'll beat him up good!"

Niikura lowered his eyes and noticing the bandages on Mihara's body and the crutches on the ground, he relaxed slightly and helped Mihara to her feet.

"Kid don't think you're saved I'll take care of you later, now go inside it's time for lunch.

And without giving Mihara time to speak Aya pulled him inside the house.

Mihara was led to the dining room and forced to sit on a chair, Niikura sat opposite him and asked him about his health and the situation at the front.

He patiently answered his questions and a few minutes later Aya brought in dozens of plates, each one more filling than the last, and they began to eat together.

After the meal Mihara helped Aya wash the dishes and then sat and talked with them for a few dozen minutes before handing them an envelope.

"It's a letter from kozutsami."

Aya took the letter and quickly opened it and read it with Niikura, Mihara got up from the table and thanked them for the lunch then left the house.

He walked with his crutches through the busy streets gradually moving away from the center village before arriving at a hill on the outskirts of which stood a large Japanese style mansion with the characters [Kenkishi] written in large letters on a wooden panel.
