13 Chapter 13 : Departure

Early in the morning, the sun was slowly rising on the horizon bathing Konoha with its light.

The village was quiet at this time of day, in the Kenkishi clan's mansion, Mihara sweating with scarlet eyes, shirtless, was standing in the garden waving his sword which was wrapped in a blue glow.

He was sweating giving up, his whole body was shaking, he clenched his teeth trying to maintain the flow of chakra that enveloped the sword in his hands then the second he dropped the sword, at the same time his hands were lacerated as if by invisible blades making them bleed.

He fell to the ground from exhaustion as Kawagu, who was farther away and used to seeing this scene, ran to him and began to clean the blood from his arms before dressing the wounds on his hands.

"Master your level of progress is terrifying in only two weeks you have done what took your grandfather two months but you should rest, if it continues like this you will have irreversible injuries."

"Thank you Kawaguchi but I only have one week left before I return to the Battlefield I want to learn the water blade before that time."

Kawaguchi then sighed and continued to bandage Mihara's arm before leaving for the kitchen.

"This technique is really difficult."

Mihara sat on the ground looking at the sword on the ground with a troubled expression.

It had been three weeks since he started his intense training, he had dedicated a week to the three ninjutsu he had chosen and as Kawaguchi said this progress was terrifying, he trained incessantly only stopping to eat sleep and other convenience.

Although he had not mastered the three ninjutsu, he could already use them at a beginner's level which was already incredible.

His special ability really gave him a great advantage, he could even feel a slight improvement in his chakra amount.

He then decided to start training with the technique he coveted the most, Elemental swords arts.

It was a kenjutsu technique with no classification rank.

It was neither an offensive nor a defensive technique, it was just a set of seven techniques to change the nature and shape of his chakra in a sword.

Its power depended on the amount of chakra, its control and the mastery of kenjutsu techniques by its user.

It had seven forms:

-Suiton style for a soft and unpredictable Kenjutsu style like a stream of water.

-Katon style for a dominating and destructive kenjutsu style.

-Raiton style a fast and decisive kenjutsu style.

-Doton style for a strong and brutal kenjutsu style.

-Fūton style for a light and evasive kenjutsu style.

But the strangest thing in this series of techniques was the last two.

The Inton and Yôton styles, these two were just mentioned without their training methods with only a sentence written as a description.

"Once you reach your limits understand the mind and body."

He asked Kawaguchi about this and Kawaguchi shook his head and said that apparently no clan member since the time of the founder of the clan had been able to learn these two techniques.

Even his grandfather who was considered as a genius spoke the best brewer of the time Sangoku could not learn nor even understand these two techniques, all the members of the clan considered then this technique as the delusions of an old ancestor or other as a technique lost by the clan.

Mihara then started to choose the first stlyle he wanted to learn, the transformation of nature and form was very difficult to learn add to that the strict requirements of each technique he then chose to start with the water style, Suiton.

He had an affinity with this kind of chakra which was ideal to start with, so he started his training the same day and realized that he was too arrogant.

During these two weeks of training, his progress was slow, very slow, despite Kawaguchi's repeated compliments he was still not satisfied with his progress.

The training phase of the technique was divided into three parts, the transformation of the shape which consisted in solidifying and compressing his chakra in his blade, then the transformation of the nature which consisted in transforming the chakra whose form was modified, and finally the third which required to use the whole in clan basic kenjutsu's techniques.

Let's not even talk about the second one, he was still stuck at the first step, thinking about it he sighed and got up from the ground.

He washed and ate his breakfast before going to sleep for six hours before resuming his training.

Time passed and the time to go back to the front came.

It was a quiet morning, Mihara took the defeats that Kawaguchi had prepared for him, his sword and changed into his fighting clothes before walking towards the door of the clan accompanied by Kawaguchi who looked at him with a worried look.

"Master take care of yourself and be careful, I heard that the land of rain is the most deadly battlefield."

"Thanks Kawaguchi, don't worry nothing will happen to me, I'll be back soon."

They arrived at the door and Kawaguchi smiled and holding his cane firmly bowed to Mihara.

"Master I will pray for your return, maybe we won't meet again for years or maybe I will die before you return but know that I will take care of the clan in your absence as best I can."

"I have never been a ninja, I have no talent for ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu or even kenjutsu, my life has been dedicated to your clan, master, some would find such a life of servitude humble and worthless but I am proud of it, for it is the will passed down from my father, who inherited it from his father, to be able to give up his life to others is for us, Tomomi the most beautiful work because like the shadow we have reason only with a light, so go in peace master you will return find the clan as bright, clean and tidy as you leave it. "

Mihara seeing Kawaguchi's unwavering gaze felt his heart warm, he smiled and simply nodded before leaving.

Kawaguchi saw Mihara walking away and sighed, he slowly closed the gate on which the Kenkishi characters were written.
