Aoto? Family?

How lucky eh? You managed to get two chapters yesterday. The routine will go back to normal now with one a day. I may write more than one a day but will only upload one chapter. It is up to the power stones to decide when there can be dual-chapter releases. Enjoy the chapter! ~~~~ I have changed Kiyoshi's age from the original plan - He is now 7 years old.

Also, since my story for Kiyoshi is very strongly set in Suna, I had to give some names to characters that don't have names. I hope you enjoy!

"Ugh..." Kiyoshi grunted as his consciousness slowly began to come back to him and his eyes began to slowly open.

"Where am I?" he mumbled as he found the roof of the place where he woke up to be completely foreign to him.

As he was still slowly in the process of waking up his whole consciousness, he suddenly heard a female speak out, "You are in Suna's hospital. You were in very bad shape when you came in but your body recovered at a miraculous speed that we have never seen before."

'Suna's hospital...' Kiyoshi repeated in his head as he relaxed. The instant he relaxed, he found that the bed that he was resting to was extremely comfortable and he felt as if he was going to sink right into it.

A smile escaped his face as he mumbled, "This is so comfortable..."

Hearing this, the nurse that was next to Kiyoshi couldn't help but smile as well before she got up and walked out of the room, "I was told to inform Aoto once you gained consciousness so I will take my leave."

As Kiyoshi lay in bed, he suddenly flashed back on last night and he almost instinctively shot up into a sitting position.

'Haru! Ryuuya!' his mind shouted in panic as he hurriedly looked around but he soon relaxed as he saw the two of them lying in beds next to him.

He let out a relieved sigh but as he saw their state, tears began to well up in his eyes as an extremely sad expression took over his face.

He turned to Ryuuya. He was lying on the bed, the top of his head covered in bandages and there were casts covering his arms and legs.

"Ryuuya..." he weakly mumbled as he began to cry, "I'm so sorry..."

His gaze then turned to Haru who seemed to be in even worse shape Kiyoshi saw Haru's neck completely wrapped up in bandages and in the very front of his neck was a small pipe that led into his food pipe.

Seeing this, the floodgates were released as they now began to stream down his face, "I'm sorry guys... I was too weak to protect you guys..."

As he was crying, he heard a small knock at the entrance.

"They are very fortunate to be alive," he heard a familiar voice speak out.

Turning his head, he saw that it was the blue-haired man.

"The doctor told me that while they were able to save them from dying. The damage that was already done was too severe to heal," the man informed Kiyoshi as he walked forward and took a seat on a wooden chair.

He turned his gaze towards Ryuuya, "They were not able to save his eyes. He will be blind for life now."

Then turning to Haru, "This brother of yours was harder to save. He took the most damage. As you can see from his neck. His mouth was far too damaged to feed him through the mouth so they had to cut a hole in his neck to feed him. The doctor said that his voice box was too damaged to repair. I'm afraid he will not be able to speak ever again."

Hearing this, shockwaves of disbelief coursed through Kiyo's body as he heard the extent of the injuries.

He felt his fist curl up as anger and guilt flooded his body.

"It was all my fault..." he mumbled as his head hung low. Nevertheless, seeing the man in front of him he could help but express his gratitude, "Thank you so much for bringing them to the hospital. They would've died if it wasn't for you."

Seeing this, a sad light smile appeared on the man's face as he spoke, "No need. It is the duty of a shinobi to protect the lives of its citizens."

Hearing this, the anger in Kiyoshi seemed to flare up once again. He turned to him and asked, "Is that really true? The ones that causes such damage to us were Suna shinobi."

A shocked expression appeared on the man's face as his whole body froze, after a short silence, he asked "What happened?"

At this, Kiyoshi told him the whole story and at this, the man's expression turned more and more complicated before he suddenly walked over to Kiyoshi and deeply bowed, "I am sorry for what you have suffered. What you have suffered is due to irresponsible shinobi who only have eyes for money."

This time, it was Kiyoshi who was left in shock. This was completely different from what his perception of shinobi had been. Never in his life did he think that a shinobi would actually be apologising to him.

"You don't have to apologise," Kiyo spoke, "It should be those that did this to us that should apologise."

"That is true but I must apologise for the inadequacy of Suna's shinobi system," the man commented.

He then stood up and reached his hand out to Kiyoshi, "I am Aoto."

"Kiyoshi Kega, call me Kiyo"

"Well then, Kiyo," Aoto smiled as he requested, "Could you hold out your hand for me?"

Seeing this, Kiyoshi stared at him in confusion but complied and reached out his hand.

The instant that he did so, he saw Aoto pull out a gourd that was hanging on his waist through a small rope and brought it in front of Kiyoshi and turned it over.

In that instant, a large amount of black sand began to pour out of the gourd and that small tingle emerged in the back of Kiyoshi's head once again.

"This is iron sand," Aoto stated as he pulled back the gourd, leaving a mess on Kiyoshi's bed.

He then proceeded to wave his hand around and the sand immediately began to move before gathering in front of Kiyoshi in a neat circle.

"When I came back for you, you were encased in a dome of this," he told Kiyo, "See if you can control it."

Hearing this, Kiyoshi then placed his hand over the sand, hovering on top of the sand and began to try to move it.

In that instant, the sand on the bed slowly began to shake as they began to move.

Kiyo's eyes gleamed with excitement and surprise as he saw this. He then decided to explore further and he imagined the sand flowing in a different way.

The iron sand on the floor slowly began to spin around in a circle as they were lifted off of the bed, hovering between Kiyoshi's hand and the bed.

Seeing this, Aoto's eyes flashed with surprise and acknowledgement.

"I was right," he suddenly spoke, catching Kiyoshi's attention, "We are related."

"Heh?" Kiyoshi was immediately left bewildered and confused at what Aoto had just said as all the sand fell to the bed.

"Do you know who your parents are?" Aoto asked.

"No, I've never heard of them in my life," Kiyo answered.

Hearing this, a complicated expression appeared on Aoto's face. He could see that Kiyoshi was indeed telling the truth.

"You and I have the same Kekkei Genkai, magnet release," he spoke.

"Kekkei Genkai? Magnet release?" Kiyoshi asked without a shed of comprehension at what Aoto had just said.

Aoto let out a deep sigh... At this, he realised how bad Kiyo's life had been, "Why don't you come live with me?"

At this request, Kiyoshi was left shocked and was not able to formulate an answer.

"Don't you wanna get payback for what happened to your brothers?" Aoto asked as a serious look appeared on his face with a slight smile.

Almost immediately, Kiyo's demeanour changed as a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

"Train me," Kiyoshi spoke, "I am far too weak right now to defeat them, Mr. Aoto."

"Don't call me that," Aoto replied as a tiny smile was seen on his face, "From today on, I am going to be your big brother. Just call me big bro Aoto. I'm only nineteen."

A bit of a twist eh? Bet you didn't expect that.

In case you haven't realised Aoto is the Third Kazekage.

I also looked around for a way to make it make sense for magnet release to make sense.

Here's my findings:

Magnet Release in Suna, before Gaara, had only two known users. Rasa and the Third Kazekage.

And furthermore, Rasa and the Third are not related.

Considering the fact that the Third had it first, I am presuming that it was the Third's clan, that originally had magnet release. Thus, by making Kiyo and the Third related, it would explain how Kiyoshi is able to have magnet release.
