There were large dark circles under his bloodshot eyes

His phone screen was reflected in those tired eyes.

(Milton's POV)

I've been suffering from insomnia for several months now.

To distract myself I decided to watch anime

Jujutsu Kaisen

Probably the only anime I've watched in the last year

Once upon a time I was into anime and watched them in batches

Then my interest disappeared

But I quickly acquired a new hobby; I became interested in manga and manhua.

A year later my interest disappeared again

I couldn't find anything to do and I was bored to death

But I got carried away by novels that I despised for some reason, they only have text

As a result, I could not spend even half an hour without reading something...

I've read everything from quality stories to complete crap.

And then I started reading fan fiction

And I liked them so much that I couldn't read the original novels

But due to the popularity of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, I wanted to try

And unexpectedly I didn't quit after two episodes

I watched it all the time

Perhaps it was due to too much insomnia that I died.

Although I already knew that sooner or later I would die

Fatal insomnia is a rare prion disease that disrupts sleep, leads to mental disturbances and loss of coordination.

Although I did not feel any disturbances in my psyche

About a year ago I didn't even think that it was possible to die from insomnia, especially since I would die on New Year's Eve

My relatives aren't even next to me, maybe when they come with groceries my body will already be cold

Don't forget that this is my first time writing so the characters may be poorly written.

Oh yeah Why exactly 16? Well, I don't think I can write about a mature adult character, but I don't want to write about a child either, so I chose something in between
