After leaving Tenten's ninja tool shop, Naruto headed to a forest to start practicing.

"First things first, before learning the Flying Thunder God Technique, I need to master the summoning technique," Naruto said to himself. The summoning technique wasn't too hard, so he started with that.

On the first day, Naruto and his shadow clones practiced the summoning technique together. Summoning wasn't just about calling summoning beasts; it could bring forth weapons and things sealed in scrolls too. All of these belonged to the category of space-time ninjutsu.

On the second day, Naruto got better at summoning and began trying to use the chakra dagger to reverse the summoning, aiming to summon himself to the chakra dagger.

In the Naruto from Kirishima's memory, Shikamaru also used the Weapon left by Asuma, a weapon that could conduct chakra. Shikamaru used it to perform his family's shadow control jutsu.

On the sixth day, Naruto swallowed nervously, preparing to use the chakra dagger for reverse summoning. He inserted the dagger into the ground, stepped back, and got ready to try summoning himself to the dagger.

"Alright... here we go... Yayahhhh... Begin!" Naruto shouted to pump himself up.

The space around him changed instantly. Naruto stood stunned for a moment, trying to process the sudden shift. The chakra dagger in front of his feet meant he had succeeded. He had successfully used the chakra dagger to reverse summon himself.

"Yes! I did it! I learned the first stage of the Flying Thunder God!" Naruto cheered excitedly.

Suddenly, a gentle breeze blew, making Naruto shiver. He felt a chill all over and realized something was wrong. His heart sank.

Naruto turned his head slowly, noticing that while his clothes remained in place, he was now naked, standing in the wind.

"Kyaaaa....!" Naruto quickly covered himself with his hands and screamed like a Girl. The reverse summoning had brought him to the dagger, but his clothes had stayed behind.

At that moment, Kurama in Naruto's mind scape also started laughing, and the sound echoed in Naruto's head. Naruto, who was hurriedly putting on his clothes, was not happy. "Kurama!"

Kurama laughed so hard he had tears in his eyes, rolling over while holding his stomach. "I can't stop laughing! The title of 'Number One Unpredictable Ninja' really suits you. If your father and the Second Hokage knew about this, they'd die laughing. Hahahaha!"

"Don't underestimate me. At least I learned the Flying Thunder God Technique," Naruto said, feeling more and more embarrassed. He had learned it, but it was a half-baked version. He had to strip off all his clothes to use it.

Thinking about this, Naruto gave up and said resignedly, "What's the point of reverse summoning if I can't bring my clothes with me? I'll just use the regular summoning technique!"

Kurama, finally calming down, said, "The reverse summoning technique is different. In short, if you use the Flying Thunder God Mark to teleport, you end up naked. This version of the technique isn't right for you. You should consider the one I mentioned."

"Hmm," Naruto responded lightly as he put his clothes back on. He had learned the Flying Thunder God Technique, but not completely.

He tried many times, using the technique to transmit objects. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. When he used it to transmit people, sometimes the whole person went through, sometimes just the clothes. According to Kurama, he is not controlling his chakra well.

A week passed quickly, and Naruto returned to his usual routine of doing tedious tasks or training.

Naruto could now use the Rasengan with one hand, but the Flying Thunder God Technique was still a work in progress. Meanwhile, Sasuke had also improved a lot.

After learning that Naruto had mastered an A-rank jutsu, Sasuke asked Kakashi to teach him too. Kakashi, like he did with Naruto, first tested Sasuke's chakra nature. Finding out Sasuke had lightning chakra in addition to the fire chakra unique to the Uchiha clan, Kakashi taught him his signature Chidori. Sasuke's Sharingan also advanced to two tomoe, catching up to Naruto. As for Sakura, she had grown during the trip to the Land of Waves, but after returning, she mostly focused on trying to date Sasuke or dressing up, showing little interest in training.

One day, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura waited on a bridge, as usual, waiting for Kakashi.

"Why isn't Kakashi here yet? Why isn't Kakashi here yet?" Sakura muttered, looking bored.

Just when everyone was getting impatient, Kakashi finally arrived.

"Yo, good morning, everyone. I got lost on the path of life again," Kakashi waved and smiled, not feeling guilty at all.

"Dont lie " Naruto and Sakura almost yelled in unison.

Kakashi, shameless as ever, laughed and made a lame excuse, "I helped an old lady cross the road today, so I was a bit late."

"Humph, why haven't you met a scammer who tries to blackmail you? Let's see if you use that excuse again in the future," Naruto narrowed his eyes, thinking of the scams he had heard about in Ivan's memory, and complained to Kakashi.

Kakashi was puzzled and asked, "Scammer? What's that?"

Naruto thought for a moment and said, "A scammer is someone who pretends to fall or break something valuable and then demands you pay for it. They trick you into giving them money."

"Ah, I get it now. But luckily, I've never met someone like that," Kakashi nodded, understanding what Naruto meant.

Kakashi waved his hand, "Alright, enough small talk. Team 7, let's see what missions we have today..."

Kakashi was halfway through his sentence when a mighty eagle rose up into the sky. All the jonin in the village, including Kakashi, looked up with serious expressions.

"It's been a year since I graduated from the academy!" Naruto thought to himself. This was a signal from the jonin. According to Kirishima memory, the Chunin Exam would start soon.

Kakashi came to his senses and said, "Let's call it a day. Same time and place tomorrow. Team 7, dismissed."

Swish!

Kakashi disappeared instantly. Sasuke snorted and left, Naruto waved goodbye, and Sakura was left standing alone.

"Ugh, it's like this again," Sakura sighed. Naruto no longer pestered her like before, but Sasuke was still as cold as ever. She felt her future was on dark side.

*Fact.10:-Summoning Works Differently In 'Naruto' & 'Boruto'

In Naruto, trying to summon an animal that you haven't signed a contract with will result in being teleported to that animal's location. This is potentially useful if you need to get there anyway, but it's likely to annoy the animal in question. 

In Boruto, things changed. In the new series, trying to summon a creature with no contract will simply result in failure, not any sort of teleportation. It's not clear why this change was made.
