26 Lovestruck

We sat in the benches in front of the training field, I used to come here to eat, since not many people came during the recess, and I could see other people fighting styles just in case I had to fight them in the future, currently Naruto's class was outside, they were arranged on the side of the field, in a single row looking to the center were Iruka was standing giving them instructions, there weren't dummies arranged, meaning they were about to do some sparring.

"We've known each other for a while" I said to the other two, they turned their attention away from the food, and looked at me "but after all this time, I never heard that any of you had interest in any girl, I understand it from Neji, he is Mr. Gloomy, but Lee, he should have at least five rejections by now from different girls" I teased them.

"It's not like you are doing any better than us" Rock Lee said in frustration, "most of the girls from our generation thought of you like a baby brother, no one took you seriously, at least not like that" He retorted.

"Are you really wasting time thinking about girls?" Neji cut our fun.

"C'mon, Neji, is a bonding experience, who knows, maybe we can even help each other, if no one tried to court you is because you're always giving scary vibes to everyone, you need to smile more" I said, he responded by glaring at me and clicking his tongue.

"There are a few girls on the field right now, there has to be at least one you like" before Neji had the chance to say no I put a hand on his mouth "it is mandatory to pick at least one, and we are picking just by how they look, not their background, is it sexist? Yes, do I care? Not really, as log as we keep it among ourselves" I leverage my position as the second in command, to force them into participating.

We started paying attention to the girls in the field, besides the main cast of girls, there were a few others that weren't shown in the series, I was taking my time, just to force Neji or Lee to go first.

"I found one!" Lee raised his voice, loud enough for those in the field to hear us, but they kept focusing on Iruka-Sensei.

"Which one Lee?" Neji asked, with unexpected curiosity, Lee responded pointing at Sakura.

"Are you crazy?" I said, grabbing Lee's arm, "It's rude to point at people, especially when we are doing this" I scolded him.

"Sorry, I got excited, the one with pink hair, she is gorgeous, I think I'm in love" Lee was almost drooling for her.

"For real? You can do better, but there is a color for everyone, I guess" I replied, "What about you Neji?" I glanced at him.

"To be honest, none of them, they aren't my type" he answered a bit of shame.

"Ooooh Gloomy Guy has a type, that is new, so what is your type then?" I kept on teasing.

"Strong willed, but kind, pretty, ambitious and curious, with a great moral compass" He didn't hesitate to answer.

"Oddly specific, it even reminds me of a certain brunette that is currently in Team ten" I said, with my fist in my head mimicking two buns, Neji just slapped my arms, and glanced at me with fury.

"Well, what about you? What can the all mighty expert of relationships likes?" he countered to my jokes.

"Let's see, Sakura, the pink haired girl is out, she ain't my type, and two of my friends like her, Lee and Naruto, if you were wondering, your cousin, is discarded, too shy for me, unless you want to call me Lord Kenji, scratch that, even if I don't date her you should totally call me that" I joked, and Neji once again was staring daggers at me, Lee and I just kept laughing "there is that Inuzuka girl, I think is Kiba's cousin, she is pretty, the downside is the dog being there ALL the time, is a no for me" I said looking at the field.

"The dark hair, with the green dress, I like her face, but once again she seems too shy for me, who else is there?" I said, still searching for someone to catch my attention, "It has to be someone with confidence, a strong will, I guess we are the same with that Neji, smart, and pretty" I was about to give up in my search of finding one girl in this place that I liked it, when the sparring started, Ino took the left side that was closer to us, and I was able to appreciate her factions and figure better, she had confidence in her face, she was pretty, she was determined to win this fight, she struggled a bit at first, but her tactics overwhelmed her opponent, I think I just found her.

"That one, the blond girl, from the Yamanaka Clan, that just won her combat" I said, not noticing the face I was doing, or what my teammates were planning, Neji made an evil grin, Lee rushed behind me in a quick movement only he can do, and restrained me.

"This is payback" both of them said in unison, my last thought before the tragedy was wondering what were they planning.

"BLONDE GIRL, I LIKE YOUUUUUUU!" Neji shouted, a fraction of a second later he was gone, he burrowed under the ground, with one of his new Jutsus, Rock Lee opened the First Gate, pushed me in a way that I lost balance, unable to recover, while he ran away at max speed, and I was there, standing like an idiot, while the whole class of ninja to be, and Iruka-Sensei turned around staring at me, Naruto was laughing so hard he fell to the ground, Ino was blushing, not because of me looking at her, but because the sudden "confession" in front of the whole class in the middle of sparring sessions, and the only thing I could think at that moment was murdering that pair of traitors, I created an Illusion, making me disappear from their senses and rushed away from this place.
