As Sam stood in shock after seeing a video about a expansive RPG set in the world of one of the first anime he had ever watched he after doing some research on the makers of the game he quickly copied the link of the video tabbed out of the browser opening Discord then pasted it on the group he had with his friends telling the to see the video.

he waited for his friends to see the video but was shocked when not even ten seconds after sharing the link one of his friends replied," a rickroll sam? Seriously weren't you the one who was against this a few hours ago and now you're the first one to do it." Not even thinking twice he typed, "ok I'll download the game and show you some screen recordings of some game play." then he closed discord then tabbed back in to his browser click the download link in the video description going to their official website then clicked the download button without any hesitation.

After clicking on the download button Sam was stunned when he saw the download time, "6 HOURS!! FOR A GAME THAT'S STILL IN EARLY ACCESS THAT'S A FUCKING RIP OFF!!" but he thought for a second, "wait the video did mention it's vast character customization, large number of techniques, jutsu and AI. So it better be worth it." After the nini rant he went on he sat down thinking on what he was going to do first, then in pure boredom he decided to plan out his character trying to min max without even playing the game using the descriptions on the web page. When he finished his somewhat blind min max he was still bored out of his mind so he decided to draw how he wanted his character to look like knowing it won't look a hundred percent like that, after doing all that he saw the download time was a hour so he decided take a nap for that hour but he instantly dosed off after lying on the bed.

"Where the hell am I?" Sam thought floating in the eternal darkness then suddenly the logo of the dev team of the game appeared.

Naruto Shippuden: Pilgrimage...

"Was this game so in my head that I even dream about it... Well lets hope it doesn't become too much of a let down as it's now shaping up to be as I'm now too hyped up for it to meet my standards now." Sam said looking at the game logo floating in front of him, "would you like to begin your pilgrimage through this lovely world of shinobi?" A female voice boomed throughout the void catching him off guard. Sam looked around for someone as her said, "wait that's Kaguya's voice! they even got the anime voice actors voicing the game!" He thought grinning from ear to ear then he remembered that he was asleep.

"Damn this game has no chance, so let's enjoy this dream before I meet the disappointment on my PC." After Sam said those words the game and company logo moved back and the character which he drew stood in front of him and he heard the voice again, "congratulations! As our first patron in our maiden journey you are given rule exceptions but they will come with side effects for the sake of balance... so please choose carefully on what they are." Sam stood there as he thought on what he wanted looking at his character for what felt like hours trying to remember as much as he could about the world he was going into as he did not want to be useless but to be seen as a contributing factor to the story."

Sam looking at the information about his character he saw that everything was how he wrote it so he took a long breath and said, " well since I chose to be an Uchiha I wish to have Hashirama cells including the ability to use wood style and the following, one quick style, two steel style and three shade style , four a affinity to all chakra natures five another Uchiha who will be my Itachi Uchiha equivalent and last but not least number six I want to have a tailed beast with in me!" he said with a smug grin waiting for an answer.

"Processing requests... processing... process complete sixth request is invalid as it will trust the user directly into the plot, compromise will be a large chakra reserve, the previous request have been accepted but they come with the escaped experiment subject ark, ties with Orochimaru the affinity with all changes in chakra nature will be granted but will be weaker than those with one, two or three and you now have a older brother who along with Itachi will decimate the Uchiha clan. do you accepted the conditions of this contract?"

"Yes! I accept the conditions as fair!" he yelled out at the voice he heard and that would here the voice again, "Very well simulating effects of exceptions on the player character." After those words Sam could see his character turn pale and marks start to appear throughout it's body as he started to feel some weight on his face stopping him from breathing as a thought came to him, "am I waking up? so i took too long to make up my mind... damn this sucks but I wonder how long was i out since I'm not hearing my phone alarm."

(From this point this will be mostly in first person perspective mainly the protagonist's perspective and at times move to first person. I know it might be a little jumpy but please bear with me.)

(POV Sam)

"Damn how long was I out?" I thought laying in bed as I cough heavily and the first thing that came to my head before moving was, "wait my bed feels different." while deep in thought all of a sudden I could hear someone whisper, " I'm sorry little brother, I hope you could forgive me for what's to happen." After hearing those words I felt every fiber of my being telling me to move out of the way or i was going to die and in a instant i was standing next to the bed shaking in fear as a tall figure drove a sword straight into my pillow.

" Seems like you can now move and you moved much faster than I thought you would Kansatsu. Looks like I was right when I saw your potential before all of this happened." My body was shaking looking at him not knowing what to do and the only thing that I could focus on was his intense red eyes which the moon light leaking in to the room made him look even more intense. Looking at him straight in the eyes I see it in his eyes filled with anger and despair that when he looked at me he was filled with sadness for reasons which I could not even begin to understand. "Why?" I whimpered helplessly as I looked at the sword and back to him who let go of it and started to walk towards the door.

"Well I am doing all of this so you gather all your hate and focus it all on me so I could have a sufficient challenge in the future Kansatsu and if you weren't able to get out of the way there would have been someone else to take your place." The mysterious figure said as he slowly opens the door, in that instance I jump onto the bed grab ,pull the sword out of the bed, leap towards him with the intention to kill but all of a sudden I feel my body scream at me telling me to stop moving closer and I do only to hear him say, "seems like your instincts save you once again little brother, listen to your instincts as they are why you are still alive and will continue to be until out dule."

frozen in fear I think to myself, "why is he so tall and why is this sword so massive?" Trying to shake off the fear i tightly grip the handle of the sword as I follow him out of the bedroom wondering what's going on.
